Carlisle was in his home office when his wife entered quietly yet confident. "Sam Uley is here..... he would like to talk to you." Esme smiled rubbing his back making him raise a suspicious brow. He quickly stands at a speed too quick for a human to even see him as he rushes out and down the stairs with his wife directly behind him. Sam Uley stood stiff and awkward with another one of his pack mates and a still stoic Jane..... The train was currently out of commission. The others found Jane finally and tried to force her to the surface. While she was riding up the conductor of the train driver 8 was talking to her about enjoying her job. But Jane- she didn't enjoy always being at the surface and taking blow after blow. Telling this to driver 8 she spotted the emergency break...... it had never been pulled in all of the trains years. Driver 8 allowed Jane to pull it and pretended to fix the train to give Jane more time to try and decipher what she wanted to do.

So now all that was left was an empty body staring out across the living room as two stiff wolves paced back and forth until the vampires reentered the room. "Sam..... Pleasure to finally meet you. What may I help you with?" Carlisle asked wrapping an arm around Esme. "Jane...... somethings wrong it's like- it's like no one is here." Sam said as calm as he could but judging by the worried look of his pack mate this could be serious. "And you must be Paul. Janes mate right?" Carlisle asked already getting an idea that maybe he could use their bond to prefect his invention to go into Janes subconscious. "Well let me take a look." Carlisle said awkwardly as Paul just death stared at him. Usually when Janes body was touched someone would rush to the surface yelling at the person especially if it was a man. But as Carlisle grabbed her chin and moved it side to side she didn't even flinch. He grabbed a small flashlight shining it into her pupils and the body did it's normal reaction yet no one spoke or moved inside. Every time Carlisle so much as touched Jane Paul was growling lowly earning an elbow from Sam.

"Nothing appears to be wrong with her physically..... seems it's all psychological." Carlisle huffed before going to grab the machine he had been working on. "What the hell is that." Paul asked in distrust as Carlisle hooked it up to Janes head. "Something I've been working on to try and find Jane.... The other personalities were beginning to worry. Especially The secretary..... she's been telling me that the underground is losing its balance. They need Jane to come back as the primary in order to fix it." He explained as he now just stared at Paul. "Now what?" Sam asked as the doctor didn't move around anymore just stared at Paul. "I haven't been able to see much when I go in there. Maybe Jane needs someone she trusts.... Or has a deeper connection with." He explains still looking to Paul who looks at Jane with a feeling of self disappointment. "I'll do anything....." Paul said sighing and going to the chair beside Jane who now kid on a metal surgical table. "Alright.... I'm going to have to put this on you in the right spots." Carlisle said calmly yet slow so he wouldn't spook the wolf into his predatory instincts. Paul didn't like the Cullen being so close in his face but not his tongue thinking this was for Jane. Also Sam was giving the look to behave or else.

"Are you ready?" Carlisle asked with a look of excitement that maybe his invention was finally going to be useful for the first time in months of its creation. Paul simply nodded before the doctor flipped the switches and his vision went black. He opened his eyes and it was incredibly dark a faint water drip being heard. Walking forward some light showed he was in fact in a tunnel like a subway train would travel through. He began looking around until the end of a stopped train came into focus. Climbing onto it he looked through each compartment coming up empty. He got off and onto a platform before seeing someone was in fact on the train just in the drivers seat. "Excuse me?" He called getting back on and tapping the glass. The driver looking at him with pure shock and distrust.

She looked exactly like Jane. "Jane?" He asked and she looked him up and down still confused before speaking. "I'm driver 8...... who are you? How did you get here?" She asked making Paul shrug not really understanding the science behind it all. "I'm here to find Jane.... I'm Paul." He introduced making the driver nod but still look distrustful. "Well your not supposed to be here. Paul or not." She said turning away but he looked panicked. "No please I have to find Jane.... Can you help me?" He asked and she looked at him before shaking her head. "I'm just a personality made for one job and that is to drive this train. I take the others to the surface. Without me they'd be unable to go up there. Besides I only know this train so I'm afraid I can't help you." She said it simply before a wicked smile came to her face. "But I might know someone who can help you." And Paul smiled at this thanking her as she went to make a phone call.

He sat on the subway station styled bench waiting for the person driver 8 called to show up. He kept glancing at the clock on the wall but it was broken. But he had to say he was sitting there for almost 20 minutes now and there was no sign of anyone. Finally he heard someone walking up and looking over a bald woman with black heavy eyeliner walked up to him. "Hey shit for brains!" She called at him making him recognize her immediately. "Hammerhead?" He asked with a smile happy to see one of his imprinted friends walking towards him. "Yeah Einstein." She said like the smart ass she is but it made him happy to see her in a body other then behind the face of the girl he likes. But rather then warmly welcome him she grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back pushing his face into the wall as her back up driller bill showed up, a muscular black woman. "Your not supposed to be here Paul!" Hammerhead scolded as Paul grunted in pain. "I'm here to find Jane! Driver 8 said-" but before he could finish Driller bill told him to shut up making him look at her in disbelief and confusion. "Who the fuck are you?" He asked and driller biller sent a harsh upper cut to his stomach. "I'm driller bill asshole." She practically spat at him only making him more confused why they were being so hostile towards him when driver 8 said they would help.

"I'm trying to help her!" He pleaded again but it was useless as Hammerhead rolled her eyes and roughly grabbed him. "Well that got fucked sideways now didn't it?" She asked dragging him away but he managed to get a glimpse of driver 8 flipping him off only raising his confusion more on why they all seemed to hate him there. Meanwhile Jane was going deeper into the underground and found the sisters. It was a personality with three heads and a psychic styled room. All they told her was to basically go to the Well..... the same place Miranda killed her self by jumping inside and disappearing forever. That's when Jane became herself and primary. Penny Farthing the anxiety ridden usually stammering British girl was eavesdropping and had followed Jane to the sister. She tried convincing her it was a dumb idea to go to the Well to search for answers. Paul was immediately thrown into a cell and hit the brick wall angry at the situation. He jumped and let out a frightened yell at the sight of a moving scarecrow across form him in an opposite cell.

"Don't mind her she's harmless." A blonde looking Jane said wearing a white wedding dress and looking a mess said. "Karen?" Paul asked remembering his brief time meeting her. "Paulie? How did you get here?" She asked confused yet happy to see him. Maybe she hoped he'd fall for her true beauty in here but- deep down knew he only had eyes like that for Jane. "Don't ask me to explain it." He sighed but Karen nodded with a soft smile. "I think it works.... Having you in here. Maybe then it's be easier to follow the mood swings huh?" She joked but Paul more so grimaced hating he in fact did cause a lot of mood changes for everyone there. "What happened to you?" He asked confused why she look beat up and wearing a wedding dress. "Oh well- turns out weddings are not really a thing around here for anyone that's not a primary. Haters. But why the all actual fuck are you here?" She asked making him chuckle dryly at her language. "I'm here for Jane." He said simply walking closer to the bars in between them. "Really? Is this like some grand romantic gesture? Or something? Your really going the extra mile here Paulie your in her head. That's deep." She gushed but he shook his head yes he liked Jane romantically but this was out of worry to make sure she was okay.

"No uh- I'm here for Jane she's in a lot of trouble. She needs my help." He explained making Karen look upset it wasn't for romance. "This isn't you trying to win her back?" She said sadly making him shake his head. "No this is- me trying to fix a big dumb mistake that I made." He explained as she walked away from the bars and sat on the bench in her cell again. She looked peeved off at the lack of romance. "You know she will never give you what you want right?" She said a bit bitchy making Paul furrow his eyebrows confused.... He didn't want anything form Jane just for her to be happy. "She will never give you what you and I have." She said looking away and grabbing her cell door while looking off dreamily. Rather then fight with her Paul sighed and asked what that even was because to him they had nothing but a brief encounter. "And what exactly do you and I have?" He asked making her not even blink before responding. "Everyone is afraid to be normal. All these bitches.... But they don't know- they don't know." Karen said dreamily thinking of love only confusing Paul more.

Hammerhead soon came back and let Karen out of her cell, "Hey you can't keep me here." Paul tried to say but hammerhead simply ignored him and went to Karen. "Have you cooled off?" She asked her earning a salute and unlocked the cell door. "Come with me." Hammerhead said pretty kindly before snapping at Paul. "Where are you taking her?" He asked and she immediately snapped. "Up your ass maybe!" She said barely even looking at him. Getting annoyed with being locked up Paul mimicked her with a mocking voice. Karen stopped as she went to walk out and looked at him. "I meant what I said Paul she's not worth it." Karen said before walking again. "Your wrong. Hey why does she get to leave I'm the one who's actually trying to help her hammerhead!" He snapped but received no response as the two left leaving him with the scarecrow who watched him unmoving from her bench. It was a bit creepy. Getting frustrated at hammerhead basically ignoring his pleas Paul lost his temper and punched the brick wall behind him making a small dent in the wall. Even though it was all in his subconscious and Janes he still managed to feel pain erupting through his hand making him cuss a storm. Until he noticed the hole he created in the wall, there was another room he couldn't really see behind it. He began punching the wall but made no more progress when something clattered to his feet. It looked like a homemade metal shiv and he looked to the only person who could have given it to him Jack Straw aka the scarecrow. Paul made a gesture of appreciation before stabbing the wall viciously until a big head sized hole was made.

And there he could see a stoic Jane sitting on a bed in a bedroom he wasn't familiar with. He called to her but she didn't even glance at him she just continued to stare out the indie emotionless. "Jane! Jane are you still mad at me? I'm sorry I really am it was stupid I shouldn't have ignored your calls." He apologized but she didn't even look at him. Paul continued to break the wall that was kicking up dust that went flying everywhere until Penny Farthing popped up scaring the daylights out of him. "Hello Paul! It's me Penny. Penny Farthing?" She explained from their brief encounters in the past making him nod slowly remembering her. "Penny. Hey what happened to your-?" He stopped not wanting to hurt her feeling but Penny seemed a lot chipper. "My stammer? That's only when I'm on the surface. Comes with my general anxiety. Listen Janes in trouble..... or rather she will be if we don't get to her in time." She grunted breaking the wall more to free Paul who watched her confused as his eyes went to a depressed Jane. "She's right there." He said making Penny confused. "Sorry?" She asked confused and he pointed out Jane who still hadn't moved. "Oh that's not Jane. Well- it is-but it isn't. That's a memory. There everywhere down here. I'll be surprised if you haven't walked through a few already. Yeah I know I'll explain. Anyway the real Jane is going to the Well and we've got to stop her before she does something completely stupid." This put a fire in Paul and he completely broke the wall the rest of the way through to get out of his cell. "Well what are you waiting for come on." Penny said sticking her gloved hand out to Paul who grabbed it and stepped through the broken wall.

Meanwhile Jane watched an old memory of her own where she fed a stray puppy on the streets of Gotham. Two men in a big white van pulling up and trying to grab her before she shook them off and went into the van on her own accord. On the back of the van was the logo to her old asylum she lived in before Charlie's. She always did ruin their days whenever Flint would help her runaway. As she watched the van drive away she faintly heard a whisper, Sweet sweet baby. Come to me come to me. It whispered.

Paul and Penny walked through a school hallway that looked nothing like Forks High. It was smaller and lit lowly. "The fastest way to get through the underground is to. It through short memories like these ones." Penny explained as they walked down the corridor. "Their everywhere. The deeper you go the darker they get. Sometimes the good ones get stuck to the darker memories you never know." She explained before going to a random looking classroom door. "The mind is a crazy thing." Penny sighed before leading Pail into a classroom filled with a bunch of middle schoolers or freshman inside. He couldn't help but look around to see which one was Jane. "The primary cause of the civil war was Abraham Lincoln faced with such a godless leader poor southern farmers were forced to band together to keep their farms from nationalization." Paul looked at the teacher with complete disbelief at what she had just said. "Okay that does not sound right." He said before the teachers eyes focused in on the student who's lack of paying attention is what actually caused the teachers lesson to be so wrong. "Is that Jane?" Paul asked with excitement as his eyes fell on a long haired girl curled up in her seat reading a book instead of focusing on the lesson. "Not exactly." Penny said before the teacher called the host bodies name instead of its primary. "Kay Challis!" She snapped while hitting the poor girls desk with a ruler. "Care to join the rest of the class?" She asked making the other children snicker. "I'm not Kay. My names Miranda." She said dully. That name had only been mention to him briefly so of course Paul tended to forget the personality that he had never met before. "Who's Miranda?" He asked penny who sighed. "She was a primary like Jane." She explained minimally before heading to the back of the classroom as the teacher scolded 'Kay' for pretending she was someone else. "My name is Miranda." Miranda said with more volume before whispering to herself. 'Shut the door, shut the door, shut the door.' She mumbled inaudible to the two heading towards the door hidden in the back of the class.

"I'm gonna need you to shut your eyes." Penny asked Paul making him look at her funny. "Why?" He asked dumbfounded. "Because behind this door is what's left of Miranda's station where she used to live." Penny explained like he should already know. But he looked more confused, "is that supposed to mean something to me? Because I didn't even really know there was a Miranda until five seconds ago." He asked looking to the young Miranda sat in her seat. "Trust me." Penny said before Paul sighed covering his eyes with one of his hands. As penny opened the door a light seemed to blind them as Miranda shot up from her desk shouting" SHUT THE DOOOOOOOOOR!" As they now appeared in Miranda's station which was dark and empty unlike the other personalities special rooms. Peeking through his hand Paul saw dead bodies hanging from the ceilings or just laying around making him gasp audibly. Penny huffed that he hadn't listened to her, "I told you not to look." She scolded but kept walking as Paul uncovered his eyes taking in the depressing room. "What happens To Miranda?" He asked and hearing Pennys story reminded him of Jane telling him once. He begged her to never leave him by jumping in the well like Miranda had. "What is the well?" Oil asked as Penny explained how Miranda through herself in. "What's the well!? Only the last place in the underground Jane should go. Which is why we have to stop her." Penny said making Paul shake his head as more dead bodies littered the abandoned station. "If the Wells so danger then why is Jane wanting to go there?" He asked scared Jane was going to fall the same fate as Miranda. "Because the sisters sent her. It's where they'll send anyone bloody fool enough to go looking for answers." She huffed opening a door which led them to a different memory.
