Babydoll was in slight trouble with everyone from the underground after that stunt at the bonfire. Since then Jane has mostly been to the surface but was itching in nerves. Today was her first day of school since she was a kid, before the asylum she had been sent to. Bella wasn't gonna be much help, she was an empty shell nowadays not doing or saying anything.

Jane also felt a weird pulling in her stomach since being back and her thoughts were filled with Paul. She hated herself for thinking of that disgusting man, he was a masculine pig like most men she's met. But she did have a new found liking of Jacob for being there to help her if any men had tried to make a move. Don't get her wrong she didn't like the guy but he was a good ally to have on her team.

His friend Quill had made everyone in the underground uncomfortable which is why they were upset with baby doll. Hammerhead really wanted to come out whenever he looked or said anything flirtatious, wanting to shut him up with a punch to the mouth. Embry was shy and quiet which made him tolerable as well to her but she didn't trust these men. She still barely trusted her uncle due to her deep seeded ....issues.

Bella drove them to school in dead silence. No music on the radio, and no talking making Jane both uncomfortable and relieved. She didn't really know what to say or what to do, hoping her cousin would move on by herself or someone else's help. But really no music?

Pulling into the parking lot all eyes were already looking at the two girls as they got out and walked inside. People watching Bella to see how she was after the breakup and being lost in the woods. As for Jane she was a new face that peaked everyone's interest. The male population watched her with approval and lust, the woman jealous and annoyed. But Jane just ignored them all and went to find the office since Bella just emotionless walked to class.

Jane felt like she was gonna be behind everyone else in the class not being in school for so long. She was trying to find her way to the office when a bright flash was suddenly in her face making her back up and blink vigorously. "Hi the names Erik you must be Bella's cousin? Kay Challis right?" He asked enthusiastically. "Actually I go by Jane...Swan now, and yeah where's the office?" She asked both annoyed and bored.

He looked taken back by her bluntness probably expecting her to be shy like Bella. "Wow I'm yeah it's right this way. That photo can be deleted by the way if you don't want to be the feature too by the way." He said uneasily leading me to the office that was right down the hall. "I could honestly give less of a fuck. Use it how you please but if I see any porn like edits of me then you better watch out." Jane shrugged as if it was basic thoughts but Erik looked blown away by her statement.

"I'm the office is right here..... would you want me to show you to your class or....?" He really didn't know what to make of Jane. Jane nodded knowing she'd either run into some asshat offering to help and being a dick the whole time or get lost. Plus it'd probably be better to go with the nicer guy although she wouldn't trust him like she doesn't most men. He almost looked intimidated by her which brought a smirk to her face.

Her first class was English, and of course she had been receiving stares since she got here but even more so now. The teacher had Jane standing in front of the whole class, waiting to introduce her. "Alright class this is Kay Challis, she's new here and make her feel welcomed." The teacher said with her crooked teethed smile. Jane was tense as she made her way to the seat furthest in the back, trying to avoid the stares. Unknowingly sitting by the biggest tool in school Mike Newton.

Yes everyone else watched her but Mikes eyes burned in her skin as he looked her up and down repeatedly. Jane felt like barfing but managed to look the boy dead in the eyes, "you got a problem?" She asked simply. He looked to ponder this idea, "well I was just thinking of where our first date should be. Also the fact your related to a close friend of mine." He said trying to get some brownie points but instead got a disgusted scoff. "Never gonna happen. You'd have better luck with Bella." Jane said in a threatening whisper but he just smiled even more at her.

"Never say never baby...... get it? Like Justin Bieber?" He said with a slight chuckle but Jane stared at him blankly. Both because she didn't get the reference or why this man couldn't take a hint. "Now I'm gonna say this once..... if you don't take my warning that's on you. If you so much as look or talk like that to me ever again I will rip your tongue clean out your head and shove it up your own ass." Jane said looking him directly in the eyes to show how serious she was. He just looked down for a second before another smile was on his face. "It's cuz your into chicks or something right? Your kinda giving off that vibe right now." He sounded even more interested making me wanna barf.

She decided just not to answer and focus on her first school lesson. But it was hard with a teacher who's voice sounds duller than even Bella's. Jane was half asleep when the bell rang. Thankful to be away from Mike and back to Erik.

Jane has decided she hates school with a passion. She sat with Bella at an empty table rather then with Erik and all his friends. She was suddenly grateful her cousin wasn't a social butterfly. She was now getting to avoid Mike and that nosy Jessica, although the others seemed fine.

But now with school being over Jane had homework that she intended to attempt / possibly use google for all the answers. After school walking to Bella's truck Jane felt watched but this was different type of being watched. It felt like the staring was coming from the dark ominous woods. That just made her rush even more to Bella's truck. Charlie looked excited as we pulled into the drive way, faltering at the sight of a still depressed Bella before looking at me in expectation. "So how was your first day back at school Jane?" He said with a warm smile. " So much ugh, so little time." She said unimpressed.

He laughed however at her response, "Well Billy was wondering if you'd wanna go with me down there?" Jane knew he meant La Push and at first she was gonna say no not wanting to run into Paul. But then She realized maybe Jacob could help tutor her with school stuff that She still couldn't even begin to comprehend. "Should we ask Bella?" Jane asked already hoping she'd come and not leave her alone to Jacob. But Charlie just shook his head no sadly knowing she must need a few days to get back to her normal self.

Which made Jane slightly nervous but she pushed it off as she went out to his squad car as he told Bella we were leaving. Jane can already tell he probably didn't get much of a response as he was back fast. She could see Bellas silhouette staring out the window as they pulled out and left the Swan residence.

Billy's house came in view and suddenly Jane wished she stayed home and avoided this. But nonetheless dragged herself out of the car and made her way to the front door with Charlie. "Well well well if it isn't Jane and Charlie." Billy said with a smile as he opened the door. Jacob and Quil also came to the door and smile at Jane who returned it awkwardly. She walked inside and felt her insides shrivel up as she caught sight of the men from the woods more specifically Paul. They all sat at the table with all their eyes instantly finding her. She just ducked her head down before she looked Paul In his dumb cute eyes again.

"Come on Jane we can hangout in the living room." Jacob said eyeing the other men down and She just stiffly nodded and followed him. "Hey so Um Jacob-" Jane started to say before he cuts her off. "Just Jake is fine" he said with a beaming smile making her nod and awkwardly smile back. "Um I was wondering if you could help me with my homework.... I havent been in school for so long everything just sounds like math.... I've come to realize I hate math." Jane said deadly serious but earning a loud chuckle from Jake.

She could've sworn she heard a rumbling in the room right next door. "Yeah sure although asking an underclass men might not be too helpful, but I am pretty smart." He said sarcastically actually earning a real laugh from Jane. "Thanks Jake." She said with a small first non awkward smile towards him earning a beaming one back.
