《A changed fate. (Sephiroth X Tifa)》Ideas, Regrets, Confession (part 2)

Sephiroth sees that Tifa walked into the house with Cloud, knowing that he loved her too much to even let her go, but he knew he had to. Was it a good idea? No. But was it needed? Yes. He knew that she belonged with Cloud and the others, but his heart refused for that to happen. He had to at least get his words out. Before it was far too late. He looked around the Seventh heaven where Tifa resided. He looked through any spare windows to see where she had her room. By the time he noticed that her room was on the second floor window to the right side of the house, he gently opened up the window from the outside, going inside. He looked around as it was a small room. Nothing much, having her clothes, a few pictures of her and Cloud during her childhood, and some posters. He nodded his head as he went onto her bed, sitting on it gently, waiting for her. He doesn't know if she'll even be in her room tonight but he'll wait as long as needed. He looked around her room to see if there was a book that he could read to pass the time. But as if it mattered as Tifa opened her door to see Sephiroth sitting on her bed. Tears swelled into her eyes as she walked in, closing the door, softly speaking
"What...Why are you here Sephiroth?"
"I wanted to have a few words in edgewise before we departed ways."
"I think you said enough Sephiroth!"
She turns around, hiccupping. He sighs as he gotten up walking to her, wrapping his arms gently around her. She stopped as she looks back at him, staying silent.
"Look I want to say I'm sorry. I did not mean any ill intentions when I say I wish for us to go separate ways."

"..Then..What do you mean?"
"Your home is here Tifa..With Cloud and the others, there is no room for a man like me with the reputation that I have. Please understand that..I loved you enough to keep you, but I now love you enough to let you go and knowing that this can't be nearly possible. That's all..I wanted you to know."
He lets go of her, as he turned around, walking to the window, until a he felt a hand grab onto him. He turned around and saw Tifa, tears running down her cheeks, looking at him.
"...I..I don't care what your reputation is..I don't care...I care about you being with me! I care about us damn it! You can't throw it all away everything just because you believe it's the best for me! The best for me would be with you! I love you Sephiroth!"
Sephiroth looks at her and sighs. He kisses her softly, holding onto her arms gently. Tifa tears up, accepting the kiss, holding onto his arms. By the time he broke the kiss, he was just an inch away from Tifa's lips, whispered ever so softly to her,
"I'll come by three times during the week to visit you and take you out. Until then...we can't do anything more..I'm sorry Tifa.."
Tifa looks at him, smiling softly at him.
"I..I would like that at the least..I love you Sephiroth.."
"...I love you too Tifa..And forever more.."
He cups her cheeks ever so gently, kissing her softly, as Tifa wrapped her arms around him, smiling. He finally got his words in edgewise about this, and well..At least he doesn't have to lose the only person that gave a damn about him. Thankfully. Once they broke the kiss, Sephiroth waved bye to her, slowly going out her window. As Tifa blew him one last kiss before Sephiroth disappeared into the night.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week.
