Chapter 28 ~ Surprise

I sat on the bed with Anna stroking little Scott's soft hand as he slept. "So how have you been?" She asked

"I should be asking you that" I said and she smiled softly kissing Scott's head. "I'm perfect" she said and I smiled; the door opened and the boys walked in.

"Hello ladies" Evan smiled kissing my head then pecking Anna's lips. "Did you get my chicken?" She asked and he rolled his eyes holding up a bag making her grin. "I swear it's like your still pregnant" he muttered opening the bag and I felt Mason behind me making me bite my lip. Things have still been tense since he killed that man...

"Hey" he whispered in my ear and I shivered from his warm breath. "Hi" I said looking down and he put his head against mine "how long are you going to avoid me?" He mumbled and I just leaned my head back against his chest feeling the sparks. He wrapped his arms around me kissing my shoulder.

Evan cleared his throat loudly making us look and he stared at Mason giving him some look. Me and Anna frowned looking between them and Mason nodded, "Jordyn can you watch Scottie for a second? I need to talk to Anna" Evan said and Anna frowned.

"Uh sure" I said walking to Anna and she sat up putting him in my arms. I held the little bundle in my arms and Mason put his arm around my waist walking out.

"What's going on?" I asked as he closed the door "trust me you'll find out in a few minutes" he said walking down the hall and I followed him holding Scott in my arms.

He yawned holding my finger and I smiled softly touching his tiny nose. We walked in his office and I chuckled softly kissing Scott's head.

I looked up seeing a purple box on the desk, "what's that?" I asked sitting down and he leaned on the desk. "It's a present... For you" he said and I looked at him, "you got me a present?" I said with a raised eyebrow "Evan helped" he said rubbing the back of his neck and I stood up.

"Hold him" I said and he tensed up. "He's sleeping it's okay" I said "I'll crush him" he mumbled and I rolled my eyes. I grabbed his arms softly putting it into a cradling position and walked closer putting Scott in his arms.

"Not to hard. Relax" I said quietly and he sat there tensely holding him. I looked at him as he looked down at Scott holding him, I smiled biting my lip and he looked at me.

"Hurry up and open the present. I don't want to sneeze and accidentally crush him" he muttered and I rolled my eyes. I bit my lip grabbing the box and he held Scott watching me.

I pulled on the gold ribbons opening it and bit my lip opening the box. I moved the pink tissue over and smiled seeing a blue dress, "you told me blue was your favorite color... It is right?" He said

"Yes it is. Mason this is beautiful" I said taking it out "you're going to wear it tonight" he said

"What's tonight?" I said looking at him "I want to take you out to dinner" he said and I looked at him surprised. "You what?" I said

"You know I hate repeating myself" he sighed in annoyance and I smiled looking down. "Where?" I asked

"Not telling you" he said as Scott began moving "take him!" He said wide eyed and I giggled grabbing Scott cradling him patting his bottom softly.

He curled up falling back to sleep and Mason sighed in relief. "I've never seen you panic like that" I giggled "shut up" he muttered sitting on the desk.

I smiled looking down seeing Scott looking at me with those blue eyes. "Hi handsome" I smiled softly and he held my finger, I slowly bounced him up and down making him smile. I giggled poking his nose and he played with my necklace making baby noises.

I smiled looking at Mason seeing he was watching me. "What?" I chuckled "nothing... Just that you look-"

The door busted open and Anna squealed, "oh god" Mason muttered and I looked at her. "What happened?" I chuckled and she walked to me holding her robe around her. "Oh nothing" she said flipping her hair over her shoulder and I caught a glimpse of a ring on her finger.

"No way" I said wide eyed and she giggled showing me her hand. "He proposed!" She said "oh my god! Congratulations!" I said hugging her and she giggled hugging me.

"Did you hear that baby? Mommy and daddy going to get married" she said picking up Scott as Evan walked in.

"I did it" Evan chuckled and Mason patted his back. "Congrats" I giggled hugging him and he smiled kissing my head hugging me "thanks" he chuckled and looked at Anna smiling.

Mason pulled me out of his arms and I rolled my eyes as he wrapped his arms around my waist. Evan chuckled rolling his eyes going to Anna.

"Hey Anna?" I called out "yes cupcake?" She said and I rolled my eyes "can you come here? Apple pie" I said and she giggled making me smile.

She walked in the bathroom and stopped in bed tracks, "wow where did you get that dress?" She asked

"Mason got it for me" I blushed and she grinned "He's taking me on a date tonight" I said and she squealed and gasped covering her mouth. She peeked in the room and sighed in relief as Scott was still sleeping. "I'm doing your hair" she said walking in "this dress will look gorgeous with black heels" she said wide eyed sitting me down and I blushed as she blabbed on brushing my hair making me smile.

"There" she said turning me around and I looked in the mirror. I smiled looking at my brown hair that was over my right shoulder in curls.

"You look beautiful" she smiled fixing some strands, "oh! The heels. I'll be back" she said running out "your not supposed to be running" I said wide eyed and she rolled her eyes. "I'm fine-"

"You just recently gave birth-"

"I'm fine! Look" she said and my eyes widened as she did jumping jacks "Anna!" I said wide eyed and she giggled walking in the room with black heels.

"Come on Cinderella" she said and I snatched it "go lay down, crazy ass" I said and she giggled. She looked at Scott in the crib and sat down sighing.

"You think you'll have sex tonight?" She asked and I froze blushing "sorry" she giggled and I chuckled strapping on the black strap around my ankle.

"I doubt it-"

"It's been 3 months" she grumbled "why are you frustrated?" I chuckled laying on the bed. "Because I've never seen anyone last this long... Oh my god! what if he doesn't have a penis?" She whispered wide eyed.

"Anna" I said and she just looked at me "he does" I blushed and she grinned "you've seen it? Is he big-"

"Anna!" I gasped and she laughed as I blushed. "I'm just curious gosh. I'll tell you Evan is pretty bi-"

"La la la la. I can't hear you" I said sitting up and she giggled. "He's practically my brother. I don't want to hear about his... Business" I said

"I named it Sally" she said and I laughed loudly making her giggle. "Seriously?" I giggled "he hates it" she snickered.

The door opened and Evan walked in, he raised an eyebrow as I snickered "well look at you" he smiled and I smiled. "You look beautiful Jordyn" he said

"Thank you" I smiled

"Is Mason dressing up?" Anna asked "he is. He's even wearing a tie " he smirk and our eyes widened "really? I've never seen him in a suit before" Anna said "did I say suit?" He asked and she just rolled her eyes waving him off but he just smirked looking in at Scott.

"So; Evan" I said looking at him and he looked at me, "Anna told me about your buddy" I said and he frowned. Anna bit her lip smiling "what buddy?" He asked

"Sally" I said and he froze glaring at Anna "you told her!" He said and we laughed. "Yeah funny. Ha ha" he said sarcastically making me giggle. "Telling someone whose like a baby sister to me about my dick. Nice Anna. Very nice" he said

"You know I love you. And Sally-"

"Shut up" he growled walking out quickly blushing making us laugh harder.

I bit my lip walking downstairs being careful not to fall, I sighed looking up and froze as Mason stood there holding his blazer in his arm wearing a white button down shirt with a blue tie which was the same colour as my dress and black pants.

He looked at me and smirked, "hi" I said staring at him.

Oh my god. he looks gorgeous.

"So do you" he smirked and I blushed making him chuckle. "I never knew you could dress up" I teased and he rolled his eyes "come on before we miss the reservations" he said grabbing my hand.

"Have fun" Anna sang and I chuckled holding his hand as we walked out. "So. Where are we going?" I asked as we walked to his black car.

"You'll see" he said opening the door "you're not going to tell me?" I pouted and he grabbed my waist pulling me to him kissing me. I kissed back putting my hand on his shoulder and he sighed biting my bottom lip.

"Get in the car" he whispered and I nodded breathlessly getting in the car making him smirk.

"Jerk" I blushed as he walked around the car with a smug look.
