Chapter 25~ Flashbacks into the past

*4 years old*

I giggled running as fast as I can hearing footsteps behind me. I screamed being tackled to the ground and heard laughing. "I got you!" Mommy smiled and I laughed loudly as she tickled me on my sides.

"Mommy stop it!" I screamed laughing and she smiled giving me kisses all over my face. I giggled hugging her tightly and she stood up, "now what game shall we play now?" She asked and I tapped my chin as she held me on her hip walking.

"Restaurant!" I said

"Oh really? You want to cook something for me?" She asked "you and Daddy!" I said and she smiled "okay let's go home" she said putting me down and I giggled running.

I giggled as Daddy stuffed his face with the food making Mommy hit his head with the oven mitt.

"This is yummy!" Dad said looking at me making me smile "I helped Mommy make it" I said and he grinned with food in his teeth making me giggle.

I heard a noise and looked up seeing a red haired woman watching with a soft smile. "Whose that?" I asked looking at her as she walked to me, I frowned looking at her and looked at Daddy.

I tensed up as everyone seemed frozen in time smiling at each other. The woman walked to me and I stood up running to Mommy who stood there completely still. "Mommy? Daddy!" I said nervously "it's alright Jordyn" the red haired woman said to me.

"Who are you?" I whispered hiding behind Mommy's leg. She bent down to my height smiling at me "my name is Eva" she said and I just stared at her. She lifted her hand and I looked at it seeing a blue and purple flower.

I smiled looking at it and she held it out to me smiling softly, "it's pretty" I smiled walking closer. "Take it" she said and I bit my lip and smiled walking to her grabbing it, I lifted it to my nose smelling the sweet scent and she moved my hair behind my ear putting her thumbs to my temples. She kissed my forehead and soon everything went black....

* 8 years old*

I stared at the blue and purple flower sitting on my bed as Mommy tucked me in bed. "That's a very pretty flower" she said and I smiled "Xavier gave it to me" I said staring at it.

"Oh really. You have a little boyfriend huh?" She asked and my eyes widened "no! He's my best friend Mom" I said and she chuckled kissing my head. "Let's put this right here" she said putting it on my nightstand next to my nightlight:

"Now what will you dream about tonight?" She asked stroking my hair and I bit my tongue thinking. "Fairies" I said "like Tinker bell?" She asked and I nodded "alrighty then. Be safe in Pixie Hallow now" she said and I smiled nodding. She smiled kissing my forehead sighing "I love you so much baby girl" she whispered stroking my cheek and I hugged her "I love you too Mommy" I said and she smiled turning off the light.

"Go to sleep now my little fairy" she said making me smile. She stood up walking out and closed the door behind her. I smiled laying on my side hugging my pillow and looked at the flower on my nightstand. I sighed closing my eyes...

I gasped opening my eyes hearing screaming outside, I sat up quickly looking around and heard growling and more loud screams.

I stood up quickly going to my window and gasped seeing wolves attacking people and other people running away screaming and crying.

I panted wide eyed and gasped as the door busted open, I hid behind the curtain quickly and I gasped seeing Xavier "Jordyn!" He said and I ran to him "what's happening?"

"We're being attacked by a shadow pack!" He said "why?" I said and gasped hearing a loud scream near us. "Come on!" He said grabbing my hand pulling me down the hall "I want my mom and dad!" I cried but he pulled me down the hall.

I looked up and frowned seeing a red haired woman standing there looking around with a sad look.

Xavier pulled me into the alpha's room and slammed the door. "We need to hide" he said "I'm scared" I cried as he opened up the closet doors. He pulled me in and we hid behind the clothes in the dark corner.

I cried as he closed the doors and ran to me hugging me to him tightly. I squeezed his pyjama shirt crying and he hugged me tightly hearing the screams "why are they attacking us?" I whimpered "I don't know. But my dad will fight them all" he said holding me.

"I want my mommy" I whimpered and he just hugged me. We gasped hearing the door bust open, I panted wide eyed and he covered my mouth holding me close to him. I held his arm crying and we heard a low growl.

The wolf looked around sniffing and the closet doors opened quickly making us gasp, I froze seeing the red haired woman standing behind the giant wolf with red eyes.

Xavier jumped in front of me holding me behind him and i held his shirt crying as the wolf snarled at us. He froze hearing howling and we panted as it howled back and ran off.

We panted sitting there and looked at each other "is it over?" I whispered "I don't know" he whispered.

We slowly got out the closet and I hugged his arm shaking in fear. We walked out the room peeking around and walked downstairs quietly seeing the whole house was trashed. I gasped seeing bodies on the floor, "Xavier! Jordyn!" We heard and Xavier gasped.

"Mama!" He said as Luna ran to us hugging us both "oh thank god you two are alright just where were you?" She said cupping our faces "I protected Jordyn" Xavier said "good job baby" she said kissing his head and I looked around.

"Where my parents?" I whispered and she looked at me "they are busy sweetie" she said and I whimpered looking around at all the people hurt and crying. "I want my Mommy" I whispered

"Are you hurt?" Luna asked checking us, I looked out the back yard and ran out following Daddy's scent. "Jordyn!" Luna said loudly, I ran outside looking at all the hurt people and even some fire.

I panted seeing Daddy sitting on the ground, "Dad!" I said running to him quickly and he turned around quickly growling loudly making me freeze.

I flinched stopping in my tracks and he panted seeing me, "Jordyn go back inside" he said crying.

"Why are you crying?" I asked

I looked in his arms and froze seeing mommy sleeping. "W-why is mommy sleeping?" I asked and he just sobbed holding her.

"Mommy? Mommy wake up" I said walking to her touching her hair. "Mommy!" I said shaking her. "Is she okay?! Why isn't she waking up?!" I said with watery eyes.

"She's not going to wake up Cookie Monster" he whispered looking at me and my heart stop. "NO! She can't be dead! MOMMY WAKE UP!" I screamed crying hugging her tightly.

"Get her out of here" Dad mumbled and I gasped as someone picked me up. "MOMMY!" I screamed sobbing loudly trying to fight the person holding me.

They hugged me tightly walking in and I sobbed hugging Alpha tightly as Dad held my dead Mommy.

My mommy is gone.

My mommy is dead. Forever.

"It's okay sweetie" he said as I sobbed loudly closing my eyes...

Evan's p.o.v ****

We sat in silence watching the girls sleeping. Jordyn whimpered crying loudly sobbing, Mason stood up in an instant going to her. "Mommy!" She cried sobbing and he stroked her hair sighing.

"What's happening?" I asked

"She's going through her memories. Good and bad" Reynolds said and Mason sighed "her mothers death" he muttered.

He looked at her with a pained look and I sighed looking down running my fingers through my hair as she sobbed loudly. "How long does this take?" I asked

"Depends on Jordyn" Mason mumbled and Reynolds nodded...

Jordyn's p.o.v

14 years old

I sat on the ground holding the blue and purple flower. "She'll love it up in heaven" Daddy said and I just looked down. "Is there even a heaven Dad?" I asked.

"Of course there is. There's always something up there. It could be called heaven or it can be called something else" he said touching the tombstone. "What's up there?" I asked looking at the blue sky, "whatever makes you happy. It can be anything you want" he said.

"Where do you think she went?" I asked looking at the stone with mom's name on to and he sighed, "she's probably right here with us" he said and I looked at him. "I miss her" I whispered and he sighed putting his arm around me

"I miss her too Cookie Monster" he said and I sniffled hugging him putting the flower down.

16 years old

I squealed as Xavier tackled me On the bed, he laughed holding me and I punched his arm "you jackass" I giggled and he pulled me to him kissing me.

"Mm I love you more" he said and I smiled running my fingers through his hair kissing back. He pulled away rubbing my waist and and I looked up at him, "how's your shoulder?" He asked.

"It's all healed" I said and he pulled down my sleeve looking at my new wolf tattoo. He smiled kissing it and I smiled looking at him "what about yours?" I asked

"It healed that same night. Alpha blood remember?" he grinned making me roll my eyes, he chuckled moving my hair and I sighed staring up at him. "I was thinking something" he said

"Congrats" I said and giggled as he nipped at my shoulder. I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck, "what were you thinking?" I chuckled "we're mates" he said and I raised an eyebrow "yeah. So?" I said

"Why not make it official?" He said and I blushed looking at him "like... Like sex?" I whispered and he chuckled nodding. I bit my lip smiling "are we even ready for that?" I asked and he shrugged "I've never done it before. And I want my first to be with you" he said making me smile "so do I" I said.

"What do you say? Yeah?" He said and I smiled kissing him. He sighed kissing back grinning "I'm taking that as a yes" he said lifting my shirt and I blushed smiling...

Evan's p.o.v

"Guys... Their noses are bleeding" I said and Reynolds ran to them quickly. "Why are they bleeding?" Mason growled "Eva's deep within her mind. She's never gone this far for this long of a time" he said looking at his watch.

"No!" Jordyn panted and Eva gasped loudly. "Please! I never did anything wrong" Jordyn whimpered shaking "she's having the dream" Mason said holding Jordyn's hand. "How do you know?"

"I've heard this exact thing for the past 2 weeks" Mason mumbled kissing her hand whispering something.

Eva gasped loudly and Jordyn screamed at the top of her lungs making me cover my ears.

Holy shit! she's loud!

She arched her back screaming fighting it off "oh god!" Eva cried out. Jordyn began flinging her fists trying to fight someone "hold her down" Reynolds said and Mason held her down. I ran to them holding down Jordyn's legs and Eva panted whispering something. Chanting something over and over again.

"NO!" Jordyn screamed again and soon went limp, "j-Jordyn?" Mason said holding her. Eva gasped loudly opening her eyes and Reynolds ran to her as she panted pulling away quickly almost falling to the floor. "It's okay" he said holding her and she looked at Jordyn panting.

Mason held her in his arms sitting on the floor. She was squeezing his shirt tightly and he was rocking her back and forth stroking her hair.

"What did you see?" I asked and she looked at me gulping "something horrible" she whispered and I tensed.

"This girl has been through so much" she whispered running her fingers through her hair.

"Why isn't she waking up?" Mason asked holding her "she will soon. I sent her to a happier place where her dreams are. Hopefully she'll get some sleep for now" she said and he sighed in relief kissing Jordyn's head.

"I was right" she mumbled making us look at her.

"She's been poisoned" she said and we tensed "God damn it" I sighed "by who?" Mason growled "someone whose working for Hopkins behind our back" she said and I looked at Mason.

"The mole" we muttered.

"Did you see who it was?" I asked and she shook her head. "It was a blur but I have a good memory. I can try to figure it out with more time-"

"You need to rest" Reynolds said wiping the blood from her nose. She smiled cupping his cheek and he kissed her head sighing.

I felt a shiver down my spine and frowned feeling a rush of pain. "Anna" I said quickly standing up running out the room, I tensed hearing her screaming.

I ran to the kitchen seeing her hunched over "Anna!" I yelled running to her and she grabbed me "the baby is coming!" She panted and my eyes widened "it's too soon" I said and she screamed holding her stomach.

"Reynolds!" I yelled holding her and he ran in. "Oh crap. She's in labor" he said going to her and she held on to him "you think?!" She spat as we walked to the infirmary...
