Chapter 14 ~

2 days later.

"Do you really think this plan is going to work?" I asked quietly staring at the wall with a blank expression and Xavier looked at me holding a sandwich in his hand.

"From what I hear. I think it will... Your mate will kill everything that gets in the way and soon there won't be anything left" he chuckled shrugging and I looked at him with a blank expression making his smile fade.

"But his own father... How could someone do that?" I whispered looking down the hall where Daddy was standing with Alpha Derek.

"Mason seems to hate his father. Very much" Xavier said leaning on the counter chewing his sandwich carelessly.

I swear he's always eating.

"I wonder what happened between him and his family" I said biting my lip thinking about what could make someone hate their own family so much.

"he hasn't told you?"

"Nope. He just always says he never had a family then gets mad and changed the subject. And Evan won't tell me anything at all even though he knows" I sighed sitting on the counter and Xavier just shrugged taking a big bite of his sandwich.

"Maybe his family is the reason he's so fucked up" he snorted with his mouth full and I elbowed him hard making him grunt. "He's not fucked up" I said and he grinned "Aw! defending your mate. How cute" he teased and I rolled my eyes smiling.

I looked down playing with my blue moon bracelet and looked at him as he finished up his sandwich doing a little dance making me smile softly. I looked around sighing at my old pack members as they went on with their everyday lives.

I miss this place...

"Where's Emma?" I frowned looking at him and he stopped chewing, "now that I think about it I haven't seen her at all" I said watching him.

"Um. She went on vacation" he shrugged and I just stared at him, he shifted uncomfortably and turned around throwing his plate in the sink. I stared him down making him gulp, I smirked waiting for him to break.

He always gives up after a stare down.

"I think she left me okay?!" He said quickly looking away ashamed, "why would she leave you? What happened?" I frowned sitting up.

"She gets really jealous easily-"

"What did you do?!" I said hitting his head making him wince. "I didn't do anything!-"

"Liar!" I said hitting him again "Will you stop hitting me?!" He growled at me "so answer me. Tell me the truth, what did you do?"

"It wasn't me! It's you!" He said quickly backing away and I froze "What? I haven't even been here how is it my fault?" I scoffed and he just sighed.

"It's because of you. But it's my fault" he said and I just raised an eyebrow. "After you left things weren't really the same around here. So me and my dad were working on a plan to get you back. We... Well I was still able to feel all your emotions" he said and I just crossed my arms over my chest sitting there.

"At first she was willing to help with whatever she can do but there was really nothing. I didn't want her getting hurt or anything so I kept telling her to stay behind" he said looking down at his hands.

"Not all women are weak you know" I muttered and he rolled his eyes "she said the same thing" he said and I went to kick him but he grabbed my ankle quickly holding it.

I glared at him and he rolled his eyes, "that day I came back. After that asshole hit me-"

"You mean beat you to death" I said and he just clenched his jaw. "Whatever. She didn't want me to go back but I had to get you out. I wanted to go back but she wouldn't let me-"

"She was worried you idiot" I scoffed and he just sighed leaning on the island across from me still holding my ankle. "I didn't know that" he said and I just rolled my eyes. "I was too busy worrying about you-"

"That's what makes it worse! Worrying about someone other than your mate. Especially your ex. Could you get anymore stupid?" I said

"I am stupid!"

"You are!"

"After the bonds broke I couldn't feel you anymore and it was driving me crazy. Your Dad didn't want to give up and neither did I" he said looking down.

"Then she came and said she needed a break. She wanted to get away from me for a while... And she still hasn't come back" he mumbled looking down.

"Does she hate me?" I asked and he shook his head "I think she hates me" he sighed. "No she doesn't... Maybe for a little while she did" I said and he gave me a droll look.

"Do you have her number?"

"I called everyday but she's been ignoring me" he said and groaned wiping his face. "What makes it worse is that we mated... So the bond is so much stronger" he said shaking his head.

I went in his pants pocket taking out his phone and put in his password taking out my phone. "How do yo know my password?" He frowned as I Dialed her number on my phone.

I jumped down the counter throwing his phone at him "what are you doing?" He said wide eyed "go away!" I said pushing him and ran out back.

I stood on the back porch as it rang, "Hello?" I heard her soft voice "Emma?" I said and she stood quiet. "Who is this?" She said cautiously

"It's Jordyn... Please don't hang up" I said quickly and she sighed "how are you calling me?" She asked "I stole your number from Xavier's phone" I said.

"You're with him?"

"Yeah. I came back to the pack for a little while. There's some trouble happening... Xavier just told me you left him"

"I didn't leave him" she sighed "that's what he told me... He feels horrible" I said and looked in the house seeing him peeking out the window watching me.

"He made me feel horrible" she muttered "well he's an idiot. He told me everything-"

"I bet he didn't tell you everything" she muttered and I frowned "he did. He even said you two mated" I said. "Did he tell you what happened after?" She scoffed

"What do you mean?" I frowned and she just stood quiet sniffling and I tensed knowing she was crying.

"Emma... Tell me" I mumbled....

I went upstairs quickly and busted through the door, "you are the most biggest idiot I've ever met!" I yelled and Xavier sighed sitting there with his head in his hands.

"She told you" he said and I just hit him over and over again climbing on him. "How could you do that? Do you know how hurt she is?! No wonder she left!" I spat and he just looked at me trying to push me off him as I kept slapping him everywhere.

"And don't you dare blame it on me. I had nothing to do with any of this" I growled as he held my wrists, "what's going on here?" We heard and looked up seeing Evan standing at the door frowning at us.

I tensed up noticing our position and quickly got off Xavier standing up in front of him.

Xavier sat there looking at me silently and I motioned him to explain but he shook his head "Tell him. Tell him how much of an idiot I am" he shrugged.

"Do you not care that your mate is gone? She doesn't want to come back! She doesn't want to see your face because she's really embarrassed!" I growled angrily.

"Don't you think I fucking know that?! I'm the one whose fucking embarrassed" he said running his fingers through his hair. "What exactly happened?" Evan asked closing the door behind him.

"His mate left him because he was too busy for her. To busy and obsessed with looking for me"

"I thought they were hurting you! Cut me some fucking slack, I care for you god damn it" he growled.

"You can't just drop your mate for someone. Especially me. And you definitely can't call my name out when your having sex her!" I spat and Evan's eyes widen.

"What?" He said and Xavier just stared at the floor, "I called out Jordyn's name instead instead of my mates" he muttered quietly and Evan hissed shaking his head.

"Ouch" he said and Xavier glared at him with black eyes. "She must hate you. Both of you" Evan said and Xavier growled standing up angrily. "Sit. Down!" I growled and he just looked at Evan with an angry expression.

"Now!" I snapped loudly and he sat down growling lowly, "You need to get her back"

"I can't! She wants nothing to do with me" he said, "she didn't dump you. She didn't reject you right? She still wants you but she's hurt. She's really freaking hurt, Xavier. She's your mate!You can't give up on her" I said and he just groaned putting his head in his hands.

"She's in the city staying with her cousins. Go to her-"

"She's not going to-"

"Don't just give up! You can't give up on your mate. If she's pushing you away you have to fight harder" I said and he looked at me with glossy eyes.

"I really fucked up" he whispered rubbing his palms which he always does when he's nervous or scared. "you did. You need to get her back. Like right now"

"The pack is in danger. I don't want her here if we might get attacked-"

"She loves this pack! If she's going to be Luna she's going to want to stand with her pack. She needs to come back" I said and he just shook his head looking down at his palms and I slapped his head. "Now!" I yelled and he growled standing up quickly making Evan tense.

"Stop. Hitting. Me" he growled in my face, "go get Emma back. Now" I growled back standing closer to him. He pushed past me going into the other room and slammed the door shut.

"You're freaking crazy" Evan sighed looking at me wide eyed. "How?" I frowned "first you yell at Mason and now you hit another Alpha. Do you not care for your life?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Where is Mason?" I asked looking at him "he went for a run. We did promise to leave by morning... Two days ago. He hates it here" he said smirking and I bit my lip and walked out "where you going? He likes to run alone" he said wide eyed.

"He'll get over it" I said running out...

I yelped as someone tackled me biting my neck hard. I growled at the sparks and looked at the corner of my eye seeing Mason's big black wolf.

'Shift!' He demanded in our mind link and I growled shifting in my human form. He shifted back and turned me on my back quickly, "are you fucking stupid?" He snarled "what?! I didn't even do anything" I said with my hands up.

"There are people after you and your just going to walk around in your God damn wolf form?" He growled.

Oh...

"Yeah. Oh" he muttered

"I was looking for you-"

"You shouldn't have. You could've been taken" he said and I rolled my eyes, "I'm serious! This is not something to play with-"

"I'm not playing with anything!" I sighed and he just looked at me, I felt him tense and I frowned "What?" I said looking around for anything.

"Do you hear something?" I asked looking up at him and he just looked at me "your naked" he said and I looked down at us seeing we were both naked.

'Oh my' sarafina grinned

"Okay? We're werewolves" I frowned in confusion.

'Well, He likes what he sees' Sarafina giggled and my eyes widen blushing.

'Talk about being gifted!' She said wide eyed looking between his legs making me blush more.

I quickly covered myself and he growled, I gasped as he grabbed my arms quickly pinning my wrists to the ground roughly.

My heart raced as he kissed my neck going to my mark, I shivered feeling the electricity go down my spine.

Sarafina growled lowly as he kissed my mark, I bit my lip focusing on his lips and shuddered as he sucked on my neck nipping at my skin growling lowly.

Before I know it his leg forced both of mine open and he laid between my legs. I cradled him with my legs feeling his hard warm skin surrounding me.

He pulled away from my neck and looked down at me with black eyes, I tried taking my wrists out from my grip but he tightened his grip making me wince. He bent his head kissing me hungrily, ravaging my mouth, possessing my mouth growling.

I moan kissing back letting our tongues dance and he ran his hand down my side touching my leg, he ran his hand up my leg rubbing my hip and moved his hand higher just under my breast making me shudder.

I move my hips involuntary and he growled pinning me down making me whimper against his lips feeling the desire burning within me. He kissed my neck again and I moan trying to get out his grip.

I want him so bad.

Please.

He kissed down my neck across my collarbones and down between my breasts making my breathing hitch.

He still hasn't let go of my wrists, his grip is too tight, I can't even move them around. I shuddered as he kissed down my stomach slowly, I bit my lip looking down at him squirming under his touch.

I tried harder to get my wrists free having a burning need to touch him. I whimpered as he licked up my stomach to my neck kissing me again. I panted kissing back pulling his hips to me with my legs. He deepened the kiss growling lowly and I whimpered.

Please.

I gasped as he flexed his hips rubbing his hard erection against me. He growled lowly kissing me harder to the point I was losing air.

I moved my arms around trying to get out of his grip, he continues the slow torture kissing my neck.

"Mason" I whimper closing my eyes in pleasure, he rubbed my body with his left hand and I feel lost in him. All my worries are obliterated. my blood singing in my veins, thrumming loudly in my ears.

I've never felt this way before. And we're not even doing anything. He finally loosens his grip on my wrists and I take the moment to yank them free making him growl. I grab his face pulling him up kissing him hungrily. He growled kissing back holding my leg, I whimpered holding his hair in my fists holding him to me.

He pulls away quickly tensing up "what?" I whispered looking at him as his eyes widen. "Your eyes are glowing" he whispered and I frowned "what?"

"It's literally glowing blue" he said and I just frowned.

What? Why?

It's never done that before.

A twig snapped near us making us both tense and he sat up quickly shifting into his wolf growling. I shifted into mine and he growled making me stay behind him. I turned around hearing the slow footsteps and my eyes widen seeing the red eyes.

'Mason' I whispered and he looked up. The giant grey wolf emerged from the bushes and growled lowly looking at me making all the hairs on my body stand.

I stood behind Mason nervously as he growled. 'Run' he said

What? Is he crazy?!

'I'm not leaving you!'

'NOW!' He yelled making me jump, I backed away slowly and turned around running off...
