Chapter 8 : Running

It's been almost a week since I've been ripped away from my pack and it's literally killing me.

I miss my Dad.

I miss everyone.

The door opened as I brushed my hair, I didn't look up because I knew it was Mason, "Where are you going?" He asked gruffly seeing as I was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt.

"Nowhere" I mumbled and he just looked at me up and down.

I just don't like staying in pajamas all day.

he walked to the bed and laid down sighing putting his arm over his eyes.

I sat there looking at him through the mirror and bit my lip turning to him, should I ask him?

'Yess!!' Sarafina yelled and I sighed "Mason?" I said and he just laid there, "Maso-"

"What?" He groaned looking at me, "I was wondering if I could go running. I haven't let my wolf run for a while... And she needs it" I said and he just sat there looking at me.

"Please?" I said and he sighed looking at the ceiling, "we go tonight. I'm not letting you go alone" he said and I bit my lip "ok" I said and he put his arm back over his eyes sighing. I smiled turning back around facing the mirror and braided my hair...

Evan's p.o.v

I looked in the back seat seeing Anna showing Jordyn a video on her phone.

Anna giggled and Jordyn just did a small smile. I wonder if she can ever do a full smile with us, or even a laugh.

I looked at Mason as he drove with a serious expression, she probably won't if he's still acting like a dick to her.

"what?!" He said looking at me and I just chuckled "nothing. Just thinking about something" I said looking out the window at the dark forest.

"So you have to look at me?" He muttered and I just shook my head, "I only glanced at you"

"Well don't" he said angrily

"Oh god. You're such a girl" I heard Jordyn sigh making me smirk, I looked at the corner of my eye seeing Mason shake his head but smirk.

He actually smirked.

Mason rarely smirks.

Almost never.

Especially if someone makes fun of him.

I looked back at Jordyn as she looked out the window looking at the moon. Maybe she could be the one to change him...

He pulled the car over by the forest and we all got out, "we run here" Mason said and Jordyn sighed "finally" she said doing a small smile

Mason looked at her as she walked forward to the trees taking off her shirt, I saw his eyes darkened as he looked at her bare back.

He growled lowly as She unbuttoned her jeans and quickly shifted as she pulled down her pants.

Soon her wolf stood there and growled shaking, she stood up on her paws and looked at us with a wolfy grin running off. "she's a white wolf" I said wide eyed looking at her pure white fur.

"So? What does that mean?" Anna asked as Jordyn's wolf ran around playfully, barking and growling at plants or anything that passes by.

"It's a very rare wolf" Mason said watching her intensely "How rare?" Anna asked and I looked at her "very" I said making her roll her eyes.

"Great explanation" she muttered sarcastically and I chuckled "there's not that many left... Someone has been... Killing them" I said and Anna looked at Mason as he tensed.

"Do you think it's the prophecy?" I asked making Anna frown "Prophecy?" She frowned and Mason just shook his head watching Jordyn's wolf playing around in the grass.

"No. It's just legends. None of it is real" he muttered shaking his head and I clenched my jaw.

Some legends come true...

I chuckled watching her roll around in the grass and Mason shook his head "she's like a puppy" he muttered and I smirked. "A hyper puppy" I said as she barked loudly. "Well I want to run!" Anna smiled taking her clothes off and turning into her beautiful grey wolf.

She winked at me and ran off barking at Jordyn who looked at her, Jordyn went into position and playfully pounced on her.

"Let's run dude" I said and Mason nodded kicking off his shoes while I took off my shirt. Mason quickly transformed into his giant black wolf and I stood there watching as he ran off in the opposite direction going away from us as usual.

He always wanted to run alone.

Jordyn looked at him and barked towards him making him look at her. As humans they probably push each other away or get into fights but these are their wolves. The actual soul mates.They have no control over their humans right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just mated right now.

My eyes widened as Jordyn jumped on Mason and bit his neck playfully, Mason would usually kill someone who did that but what surprised me is that he playfully nipped at her knocking her down.

I watched as they play fought and chuckled at Jordyn whom climbed on his back biting his ears. Mason did and annoyed look rolling his eyes and knocked her down pinning her biting and licking her everywhere.

I smiled watching them run off together while fighting, Anna's wolf looked at me with a smile and I chuckled taking off my pants transforming into my brown wolf.

We ran after them and I let out a wolfy grin as Jordyn ran in front of Mason going to jump on a log but Mason tackled her and licked her face making her push him with her paws.

'Aww! Look how cute they are' Anna mind linked and I grinned as they barked playfully at each other running away from us.

'Lets leave them alone' I winked at Anna and she grinned running off in the other direction. I looked back at Mason and Jordyn running together and smiled chasing Anna.

Jordyn's p.o.v

I stopped by the pond and bent my head drinking some water, I felt Mason run behind me and I growled snapping at him as he nipped my butt.

He grinned and stood next to me drinking some water, I spat some water at his face and he growled tackling me.

He bit my neck and I growled biting his ear, I pushed him off me running away as fast as I can and I heard Mason's footsteps running right behind me.

I barked seeing Evan and Anna in their human forms holding each other smiling.

They looked at me and Anna threw my clothes at me smiling. I jumped up quickly catching them and ran behind a tree, I shifted into my human form and sighed standing up putting on my pants, I picked up my bra putting it on and clasped it closed.

I gasped feeling fingertips run down my spine, Mason growled in my ear rubbing my stomach and I looked at him. I blushed as he stood there butt naked and he grinned "like what you see?" He smirked.

Maybe...

'Hell yes!' Sarafina yelled making me shake my head. he growled pressing me against the tree smelling my hair, I grabbed his upper arms trying to stop myself from looking down. "Hey love birds! Hurry up! No mating in the forest!" Anna said and Evan laughed.

"Why didn't you tell me you were a white wolf?" He asked rubbing my waist and I shrugged "you never asked" I said going to walk away but he grabbed my hand pulling me back against his chest.

I growled looking at him and he smirked kissing my neck pressing me back against the tree. I bit my lip focusing on his lips.

I wish he would kiss me. Like a real kiss on the lips. I looked at him feeling my body getting warm, he's probably not even that passionate. He looks like the type of guy to just have casual sex with no emotions...

'Dine and dash' Sarafine nodded and I frowned

Isn't that something you do at a restaurant?

She shrugged sitting there and I bit my lip smiling

"we should go" i said putting my hands on his chest pushing him away. He smirked at me and I blushed walking away to Anna and Evan whom were holding each other kissing.

I wish I had their relationship.

I wish I could just feel loved...

Ugh listen to me. I sound pathetic.

'No you don't. It's understandable. I want to feel loved by our mate too' Sarafina mumbled and I just bit my lip walking.

"You two are so cute!" Anna squealed and I blushed, "we didn't do anything" I said leaning on the car. Mason walked from behind the tree with a t-shirt and shorts on and walked to us.

"Have you two mated yet?" Anna asked and my eyes widened "no" I mumbled and Mason just grumbled "we haven't even kissed" I said making Evan and Anna's eyes widen.

"Ya haven't kissed?!?" They yelled and I shook my head, "what? Right when we met we kissed" Anna said and i bit my lip.

Mason got in the car with a blank expression and I just shrugged, "the way you two act I would think you at least ki-"

"Just get in the fucking car" Mason snapped making Anna jump, Evan glared at him and put his hand on her arm calming her.

Jerk.

We climbed in the car and I stared out the window as Mason drove off, why haven't we kissed?...

He says he wanted me before...

Why hasn't he just kissed me?

I sighed looking in the front seeing Mason looking at me through the mirror. I bit my lip looking away and heard him sigh...

I opened my eyes looking around the pitch black room and sighed wiping my face. I looked at Mason's arm around my waist and looked behind me at him snoring softly making me slightly smile.

I turned to face him slowly and he sighed fixing the blanket over me and pulling me closer making me smile. He always does that in his sleep.

It makes me think that he actually cares...

I stared up at him listening to his slow breathing and put my hand on his warm bare chest. I felt his heart beat and traced my fingers around his chest feeling the tingles against my fingertips.

"What are you doing?" He said grabbing my wrist quickly making me jump. I looked at him seeing his eyes were still closed.

"Nothing" I mumbled and he just sighed laying there, I stared at him while he still held my wrist.

"C-can I ask you something?" I mumbled

"I'm sleeping Jordyn" he mumbled pushing my hand away "it's a quick question" I said and he sighed opening his eyes looking at me with an annoyed look "what?" He snapped.

"Why... Why haven't we kissed?" I asked and he frowned, "what?" He said and I smirked "I don't like repeating myself" I said in a deep voice making his roll his eyes but smirk.

"It's to late for this. Go to sleep" He grumbled and laid on his back sighing, I looked at him staring at his lips and sighed, "do you not want to kiss me?" I asked hugging my pillow making him frown. "that's a fucking stupid question" he said shaking and I tensed...

He does or he doesn't?

"I was just asking" I mumbled and went to turn over with my back to him, he sat up quickly growling and turned me on my back making me face him.

"I won't ask again. I'm sorry" I said nervously and he grabbed my chin, I looked up at him as he sat up on his elbow hovering over me.

"Mason?" I whispered as he just stared at me, I couldn't read his expression and it was getting me nervous.

He bent his head and I sucked in a deep breath as he brushed his lips against mine.

He traced his fingers across my neck and I just stared at him waiting for him to kiss me, my wolf was growling with anticipation.

Just kiss me!

He went to pull back but I grabbed the back of his neck looking at him, and what did I do?

I kissed the 'big bad alpha'.

His grip tightened on my hip and I closed my eyes feeing the tingles erupt from deep inside me. His lips felt so soft but rough at the same time, I couldn't find words to describe it but I loved it.

He growled deepening the kiss running his fingers through my hair tugging on it making me gasp.

He was how I imagined an Alpha would kiss.

Possessive. rough. Dominating.

Gosh it was hot. My wolf was loving it right now.

He climbed on top of me moving the sheets and I wrapped my arms around his neck closing my eyes.

He rubbed my waist deepening the kiss and I felt my ears ringing and something deep inside me humming. Then I realized it was our mating bond finally connecting.

It was probably the first contact it's had besides the touching. My insides were going wild.

I ran my fingers through his dark brown hair and he wrapped his arm around my waist laying between my legs.

I pulled him closer and he bit my bottom lip growling lowly, I moaned tugging on his hair making him thrust his hips against me.

He slipped his tongue in my mouth dominating mine and I felt like I was in total bliss. I didn't want to stop at all.

He ran his hand down my side and cupped my butt giving it a hard squeeze, I pulled away so I can catch some air and he began kissing my neck hungrily.

I bit my lip rubbing his muscular chest and he growled nipping at my neck.

It made me want him to mark me so badly.

I grabbed his face making him look at me and licked his lips making him growl biting his bottom lip. I smiled looking at him and he smirked slamming his lips on mine wrapping my leg around his waist.

I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck moaning and he growled thrusting his hips against mine, I gasped feeling his hard on rub against me.

I grabbed his shoulders flipping him on his back slowly and climbed on top of him straddling his hips. I rubbed my hips against his and he groaned flipping us over quickly making me almost get a whiplash.

"I'm on top" he growled angrily and I panted nodding "ok. I-Im sorry " I whispered nervously and he bent his head kissing my neck. I rubbed his chest sighing and he rubbed my legs moving his hips against mine making my breathing hitch.

My wolf was growling in pleasure and she just wanted to mate right now. I wanted him to take me right now. I didn't care if he was an asshole. I wanted him. he ran his fingers through my hair tugging on it and I growled tightening my legs around him.

"Mason" I whispered digging my fingers in his back, "Mason..." I whispered again...

Oh god I can't believe in going to say this...

"Mason. I-I want you" I said making him growl pulling my hair back so he can kiss my neck making me moan.

Oh god.

"Please" I moaned feeling my body going crazy but he stopped kissing me, he hovered over me looking at me with black eyes.

'Please. Please.' Sarafina begged.

"No" he said making me freeze "what? Why?" I asked and he just got off me, "I said no" he said and I sighed laying there.

"You said before that-"

"Enough Jordyn. You got your kiss now go to sleep" he said turning his back to me and I sighed closing my eyes.

'Does he not want us?' Sarafina asked and I bit my lip, I don't know...

I really can't tell anything with him.

He's like a mystery book that no one gets...

Sarafina whimpered at the rejection and I turned my back to him hugging my pillow sighing.

'He doesn't want us' Sarafina whined putting her paws over her eyes making my heart break...
