《The Road To Nowhere (Matt Tuck Fanfic)》8

I woke up to the feel of two arms snaking their way around my waist and soft kisses against my neck. Slowly opening my eyes, I was greeted with the sight of the large cream coloured walls of a hotel room.
"Wake up baby," Matt whispered whilst nuzzling into my neck. I let a small smile break out onto my face and turned to hug him, burying my face in his chest.
"I don't want to though," I whined. I led there agaisnt him whilst tracing his tattoo on his upper left arm.
"We need to though, we've already missed the hotel breakfast time, and checkout was at midday remember?"
With that I lifted my head up with my eyes squinted in confusion.
"So you weren't that drunk last night then?"
"Oh no I was drunk, the hangover I have right now proves it. But I still remember what the receptionist said," He replied matter of factly. "And I also remember every other event that took place."
I looked up at him again and he winked at me, causing me to blush.
We layed there in bed together for a while before deciding it was best to get up, seeing as it was getting towards 11am.
After Matt had successfully managed to drag me out of bed, I quickly hopped into the bathroom to get showered first. Once I was done, I wrapped a towel around me and went back out into the main room to do my hair and makeup, with Matt heading into the bathroom after I came out.
By the time I was done with my makeup, Matt came out fully clothed and began making the bed, flopping down onto it afterwards.
"So, what do you wanna do today babycakes?" He asked, pulling out his phone and looking through it, Twitter probably.
"I don't know, I'm not sure what else there would be to do around here," I answered.
"Well, we should probably head back to the bus first because my phone needs charging and yours probably will do to. Then we can just make up the day as we go if you wanted?"
As he mentioned charging his phone, I looked at mine to see that it was running quite low on battery.
I agreed with Matts idea, and then went looking through the drawers for a hairdryer. After finding one, I plugged it in and went to work drying and brushing my hair.
Once done, I quickly got dressed and then we made sure we had all out stuff, then headed down to the reception with about five minutes before checkout.
"Hi there, we've come to check out," Matt said once we saw the same woman at the desk from last night.

"Oh good morning, did you have a nice stay?" She asked happily as she looked up at us.
"We did, thank you," Matt smiled. He handed over the room key and signed a paper to say that we'd checked out, then we said goodbye to the receptionist and headed out the doors towards the direction of the bus.
We walked down the roads, hand in hand, talking about what we cold do today, until we began nearing the bus. As we walked closer, we began hearing muffled shouting and yelling coming from inside the bus. Matt and I looked at eachother in confusion and continued on towards the door, walking in to where the noise was much louder.
"Would you just calm down and snap out of this shitty mood Jay?" Padge snapped at an angry looking Jay who was walking around the bus in a pretty negative way.
"No I will not fucking 'snap out of this shitty mood'! I'm fed up with it, they're just rubbing it in my face every single fucking day! I've had enough!" He yelled back in full force.
"What the hell is going on here?" Matt asked once Jay had spoken. With that, Jay and Padge turned to face us both, which seemed to set Jay off even more.
"Oh you know what, fuck this, I'm done," Jay huffed, getting up and beginning to make his way to the back room.
"No you tell me what's going on! I want to know Jay!" Matt demanded, walking further into the bus with me.
Once he said that Jay stopped and turned around, grabbing one of the empty wine bottles on the side next to him and throwing it in frustration, not caring to look at where he aimed. The next thing I know, Matt had grabbed my waist and pulled me suddenly to the side, with bottle smashing agaisnt the wall being where I was seconds ago. Without having time to react, I watched as Matt lunged forward towards Jay, grabbing at the front of his shirt and pushing him backwards roughly.
"What the fuck! Watch where you throw shit next time, or even better don't throw anything at all you fucking idiot!" Matt all but yelled in Jays face as he tried pushing Matt away from him. I watched the scene in front of me unfold as the two boys began pushing and cursing at eachother, until Moose came out from the back room to help Padge separate the two of them.
"Guys you need to calm down! This is ridiculous!" Moose shouted, getting everyone's attention. We stood there looking at him for a second, Moose hardly ever shouted about anything at all.

A few more seconds of silence passed and I bit my lip, the nerves beginning to appear. Following that, I turned and made my way out of the bus, walking round to the side of it and leaning against it with my head in my hands. What the hell was that about?
After I'd been out there for a few minutes, I heard the bus door open and someone step out.
"Look Crystal I'm sorry for nearly hitting you, I was angry Ok, I didn't mean to," I heard Jay speak up as he walked closer to me, I looked at him to see he still had a slightly annoyed look on his face.
"It sounds like you were forced by the others to come and say that," I said, looking away from him. I heard him sigh in annoyance before he replied.
"No they didn't force me, I fucking knew you'd think that."
"Don't swear at me like that, just because you're in a mood it doesn't mean you can take it out on others!" I said, turning to face him again and unfolding my arms from across my chest.
He sighed again and rolled his eyes, turning away from me for a quick second before facing me again.
"Don't start having a go at me too! It three against one in there, don't make it four!" He snapped, pointing towards the bus as he said it.
I opened my mouth a little to say something but stopped myself, realizing that whatever I say would just receive a negative attitude. I shook my head and walked past Jay back towards the bus door, when he caught up with me and grabbed my arm, pulling me against the side of the bus. That's when he done it. He kissed me. He lifted his hands to the sides of my face and smashed his lips to mine. After a second I managed to loosen his grip enough to speak.
"Jay just get off of-"
I was cut off by Jay being pulled off and away from me, and I looked to see Matt standing there with a look of anger that I don't think many people have seen before.
"You cunt! Stay away from her or we're gonna have some big problems!" Matt snapped while Jay stood there looking fed up with everything that was going on.
After Matt was done saying all he had to say, he turned away and took my hand in his, leading me back onto the bus with him where Moose and Padge were still waiting in the main lounge.
"I don't want to ask this, but are you both Ok?" Padge spoke up. Matt just ignored him and went on ahead towards the back of the bus and I stayed in the front with the others.
"I'll be fine, I know he won't be though. I suppose you heard what went on outside a minute ago," I replied, looking between the two boys.
"We heard the talking and shouting, I'm guessing Jay kissed you or something," Moose assumed. I nodded in reply and sat down next to Padge, thinking through what the hell just happened.
It all made sense now, why Jay was acting funny over the past few days, with the mild flirting whenever he could get away with it, his uncomfortableness when he was in the same room as me and Matt, the moods he went in when I said I couldn't hang out with him.
I sighed quietly and pulled out my phone and seeing a new tweet from Matt.
Fucked off is an understatement.
I pursed my lips and read through some of the replies from all the fans, asking and worrying about what was wrong. After looking through the majority of them, I went to read the text that had just come through, also from Matt.
Please come to the back lounge, I want to see you. Xxx
I stood up and put my phone back in my pocket, then walked off to where Matt was. I found him laying on the bed, facing the ceiling with his hands resting under his head.
Without saying a word, I went over to him and led down next to him, to which he responded by instantly pulling me into a hug.
Neither of us said anything for a while, we just led there in eachothers arms until Matt began to calm down a bit.
"Are you Ok?" He asked quietly, still sounding pretty pissed off.
"Yeah I'm fine, what about you though?"
To that he said nothing for a second. Then he looked at me and he seemed to relax a little.
"I'll be fine after a while, I'm sorry you had to see that side of me," He apologized, bringing his hand up to gently stroke the side of my face.
"It's fine, you were angry, don't be sorry."
Matt then nodded slightly and leaned forward to kiss me. After a few seconds, he pulled away and went back to just looking at me.
"I love you," He said, almost as a whisper.
"I love you too," I answered, leaning against his shoulder while we continued to lay in silence.
