THE FOLLOWING WEEK

Since tomorrow was Matt and Angie's house warming party Padge and I decided to leave to London today so we could enjoy the night together as a family/friend before Angie had to leave back to the USA for her things in Des Moines. We were carpooling it with Moose and Steph while Jay, Ceri, Dani, and Dani's wife were going together.

It was 4 in the morning and we decided to leave early since we wanted to do a bit of shopping before showing up at the Avraison-Tuck household empty handed.

"Don't forget we still have to get Moose and Steph before we leave to London so we should be in London by 9 A.M. maybe even 10" I said as Padge closed his suit case.

"I got it" he smiled and came closer to me.

"Ah not right now" I said as he slowly began kissing me, "we've got to go, Moose and Steph are probably waiting for us" I laughed as he grabbed his case as well as mine.

"Let's go Miss soon-to-be Paget" he smiled taking our luggage, even though it was only a three day trip, we were all very excited to meet the rest of the Silent band members aka wives/girlfriends.

We loaded the car and gave last minute checks to the house before leaving to get Moose and Steph.

Outside love, I texted Steph

Once pulling up to their driveway, they came out the house with their luggage.

"I'll help, stay here" Padge said before giving me a kiss.

He got out before opening the back door for Steph to get in out of the cold. Such a gentleman he is. He then began helping Moose pack their stuff in.

"Hey lovely, you look amazing" I said.

"You're so sweet, thank you. You look lovely even though I haven't seen you but I know you do" she said giving me a backseat hug.

"Did you get your playlist set for the trip?" I asked.

"Yes, I haven't been to London in such a long time, I forgot the ride but I'm ready. I'm just very excited to see ole Matties new home with the lovely Angie Avraison" she said giving a squeal, "Is she nice? I've only heard of her but never got a chance to actually meet her"

"Ah she's amazing, very nice and well worth Matthews time" I said.

"Oh I bet" she said before the boys got back in the vehicle.

"Hey Miss Lovely" Moose said giving me a backseat hug as well.

"Hey Moose" I said smiling, "How's it going?"

"Tiring" He chuckled.

"Well we're off to London, and no snack stops. Angie and Matt want to invite us to breakfast at their new home." He said excitingly before leaving.

I began playing music that Padge and I both enjoyed while Steph listened to music off her phone and Moose went to sleep.

"Where should we stop to shop? It's been a while being in London" I said.

"We could do some central malls in London, but we also have to stop at Lyles to pick up our gift for them" Padge said.

"Okay, I loved the look just by photos" I said excited for the custom gift we got Matt and Angie.

"They'll love it" Padge said smiling as I continued to admire the man I love.

We are very excited for Matt and Angie as they started a new life together. I was just happy to see Matt happy, it was the happiest he's ever been and we couldn't wait to see what the future held for the both of them.

We were only 30 minutes from the address Matt gave us for their new home. We were at the IKEA in Wembley . It was me, Ceri, Dani, and Jade, Dani's wife. We all took a look around trying to figure out a good house gift for them, even though it was easy, it was hard.

"You think a carpet would do?" Ceri asked Jade.

Of course the girls were very much into the thought of shopping for Angie. Dani and I looked around for something good yet inexpensive considering how Dani said Angie didn't like the money spent, only the thought.

"You think eating utensils?" I asked.

"No, they already have it, I'm sure of it. Otherwise why would they ask us to join in for breakfast without 'em" he said.

"Right" I laughed knowing it was a bit odd to ask.

"Well we better find something fast if the girls already found something" Dani said no knowing what to get them.

"You think wine glasses should do? It's inexpensive and it's something they could use" I said as Dani looked at the glasses before smiling and shaking his head yes.

"We found it, let's go" he said before calling Jade.

We looked at each other before bursting into laughter.

"Women" we said in unison.

I missed how Ceri and I talked to each other like that, but lately it was harder to even talk or be in the same room without an argument. Of course it was easy now because Ceri wouldn't do that in the company of others.

A few minutes after Ceri and Jade came with a trolley of things, we both looked at each other before thinking to ourselves "Fuck it" because I'm sure Dani was thinking the same thing.

It was 10 in the morning as we parked in front of the house of Matt and Angie.

"This is it" I said turning off the car.

"Such a beautiful home they chose"

it was actually sunny and surprisingly warm. I parked the car in the street way as everyone else and spotted Padges vehicle packed not to far only to see a very tired Moose and Steph getting out the car.

"Hey!" I said as we all got out the vehicles.

We all gathered on the side walk consisting of me, Dani, Ceri, Jade, Moose, Steph, Veronika, and Padge.

"Paige, Lisa and Maria should be here in a couple of minutes" Jade said looking at her text messages.

Angie had the table set up with plates and glasses, of course we were both excited to introduce everyone else to the house. It was an exciting feeling especially once the door bell went off.

Angie squealed and looked at me.

"First visit" she said before running to the door and opening it, "YAY!" She said in excitement.

I just had finished up breakfast before Padge, Dani, and Veronika walked in first.

"Nice to see you, beautiful house too" Padge said giving me a hand shake, then Veronika came in with a hug.

"It's a lovely home" she said giving a glimpse of it then the rest walked in.

"Matt, this is Jade, Dani's wife. Jade this is Matthew, my boyfriend" she said before introducing me to a brunette girl who smiled and shook my hand.

"Nice to me you." She said giving me a warm smiling then turning to Angie.

"And you met me" Jay said giving a smile to Angie, "This is Ceri, my girl" Jay said before Ceri stood still in shock.

"Hi" Angie said giving Ceri a smile.

"I'm a fan of you, huge!" She said before giving a hand shake to Angie, "It is nice to meet you!"

"Likewise, thank you dear" Angie said.

"We bought you gifts, you and Matt. Do you want us to set it over in the guest room?" Ceri and Jade asked as Angie nodded.

"Yeah we'll get to it soon, also Matt, this is Lisa & Maria, Paige's sisters" she said introducing me to both girls as Paige smiled and gave me a hand shake.

"Anyway, you guys can serve yourselves. I don't know what you want for breakfast preferences" Angie said laughing as everyone began serving themselves with a plate then another door bell, "I GOT IT" she said before running to the front door.

"You both have such a beautiful house" Steph said taking a looking at the kitchen, and dining room.

"Angie's choice of a house. I just feel in love after" I said.

After a few seconds MJ and his girl Mariah both walked into the kitchen giving me a hug.

"This is cute" mariah said before I handed her a plate as well as MJ.

Angie and I began serving ourselves once everyone was all done and sat at our dining table which was a 14 seater.

"I'm really amazed, so you decided to stay in London?" Ceri said looking at me.

"Yeah, I mean maybe we'll move to wales but just not anytime soon, right now it's better for us in London" I said as Angie just smiled.

"So tonight we're going to have an awesome dinner and just enjoy being together as friends before going back on tour" Angie said as everyone stuffed their faces with food.

"Sage was going to fly out today with his family but his grandma wasn't feeling good so he's not coming and Alex is with his family in Bali" Dani said.

Angie and I knew Sage was actually coming only to surprise the guys and girls with Sages grandmother who Angie says everyone loves.

"So when are going to Iowa?" Moose asked.

"I'm leaving the day after tomorrow. I have a morning flight back and Stacy will pick me up and I'll be staying in Des Moines to get all my stuff and drive to Arizona to drop some stuff off with my mom at her place then Matt will fly down to meet her since they're all excited" Angie said giving me a smile.

"Busy week, just three weeks until tour" Steph said then looked at Moose.

"Yeah it's the Uproar Fest then we're off for a few months before we start recording again and leaving again" Jay said.

"Same. We got uproar then off and start recording, next year we won't be touring a lot because we have to get our album out, we're aiming for December of 2012, an 'End of world' album" Paige said.

We all continued to eat before finishing up.

The girls began gathering everyone's plate as us guys started cleaning up the area.

We felt bad for having everyone clean up but they insisted on helping us. Once we all finished cleaning up we began giving a small tour of the house.

We began walking up stairs to the second floor.

"Everyone can settle in their rooms and in like 30 minutes we can all head downstairs to see the rest" I said.

"So this is the room Padge and Veronika will be staying in, we just got everyone settled this week so it might be a bit cool in here since the heating system hasn't been totally set up yet" I said as Padge and Veronika walked into the room.

"I hope it's okay, Matt told me you suffer from headaches so I tried to make this room as dark as I could without too much sunlight" I said as Veronika smiled.

"It's perfect, thank you" She said before her and Padge began to explore the room.

And the next one will be Ceri and Jay, and you guys got an awesome view" I smiled as Ceri and Jay explored.

"Thank you Angie" Jay said.

"So how many rooms again?" Moose asked looking around.

"Well 9 but if you include the master bedroom then 10, its a big house and I love it" I smiled, "And Paige, this is your room, I though I'd give you this one while Maria and Lisa have the next one" I said giving Paige the middle finger while Paige just shook his head laughing.

"Maria and Lisa you guys have this one" I said opening the door.

"Sorry if it's a bit much. We kind of went all out on the decor and furniture. I hate it when it's plain which is why I gave Paige the plain room" I said as the girls laughed.

"Poor Guy is in a small room with a little window" Lisa said as we all laughed.

"And of course matt and Mariah, you guys suck" I said as we all burst into laughter.

"Umm we literally live down the street" MJ said giving a laugh, "Besides we got to pick up your house gift and get the kiddos to my mom" MJ smiled.

"Invite your mom, she is lovely and I miss her" I said as MJ gave a wide smile.

"Everyone loves MJs mom" Mariah said to Matt as Matt grinned.

"I need to meet her then, I bet you she makes a great food for family supper" Matt said as we all laughed.

"She does though" Dani said.

We walked to the third floor and down the hall.

"Anyway Dani and Jade, you guys get this room!" I said as we walked into first room.

"Angie, you don't even know how amazing it looks" Jade said and gave a squeal before plowing down on the bed, "It beats the Corinthia hotel" she laughed.

"Then Moose and Steph, you get the next one, I love this room so treat it right" I joked as I opened the door.

"Of course! It's so beautiful! I love it!" Steph said excitingly.

"So if they have all this what does your room look like?" MJ said curiously.

"It's on the next floor" I said as we all walked to the fourth floor and the first door.

"It's not a lot but this is the bed room master bedroom" I said as we only showed the room and not the rest of the room.

"Nice" MJ said as we headed down stairs and back to the living room.

I sat down with Matt, MJ and Mariah sat across us.

"So what exactly do we need?" Mariah said as she took out a pen and paper.

Just as soon as I was about to answering, everyone else began walking into the living.

"It's a lovely home for the both of you" Steph said sitting down.

"Thank you" I said as well as Matt as we both smiled.

Once everyone sat down comfortably I looked to Mariah.

"So Matt and I are planning tomorrow for a BBQ, obviously it's not a HUGE house warming because you seen almost all of it, but what do we need?" I asked looking at everyone.

"I think us guys got the meats, so we need meats, seasons, and beer" Dani said as we all laughed.

"Beer! Of course, what kind though?" Mariah asked.

"Corona, Guinness, and stela" Jay said as mariah began writing.

"For us girls we need Sunny D, Vodka, champagne, Malibu, Pineapple juice, strawberry, margarita mix, tequila, and Wine coolers" Jade said, "Also I'll be playing bartender" she said proudly as Mariah wrote everything down.

"But essentials like food" mariah said looking at everyone.

"I want to make the fruit tray so definitely add all kinds of fruits on the list, and whipped cream" I said.

"Also veggies, I can do veggie trays, and don't forget to add the sauces" Ceri said.

"I could bake a cake, I'm not a pro but I can do it" Veronika said.

Mariah wrote everything while we all started brainstorming.

"I can do sushi rolls. It's not hard" Mariah said while MJ began writing something down.
