after an hour. The sins practically left a path of destruction in their wake and their combined dislike of listening and most of the time each other was making her want to hit them all.

She was walking down the hallway with them when someone stopped her, hand on her wrist.

"Jasmina," the girl in front of her said, eyes haughty as she looked at her.

Jasmina raised her eyebrows as she slowly looked her up and down, before placing her vividly red nails on the girl's hand, making sure to place enough pressure for her to squirm. She pulled her hand back soon enough, this time marked with red crescents.

"Who are you?" she said.

"Just push her down and let's get on with it," Ira said boredly.

Her usual smirk kept playing on her lips, no care given for the violent suggestions Ira kept giving her as she just patted him on the shoulder.

"Hush," she said," I'm speaking."

He looked offended, but before he could say anything the girl continued.

"What do you mean who am I?" she frowned," I'm Rhianne, my father is closely related to the Varsons."

"I didn't ask who your family was, now did I?" Jasmina said, voice sugary sweet.

"Well, no, but-" Rhianne stammered, before forcing a smile on her face," I am giving a party next week. I would have invited you earlier, but you know, there was that whole you being hit by a car thing, so -"

"I'd rather be hit by a car than listen to this any longer," Priyanka said.

"Who are they?" Rhianne frowned as she glanced over Jasmina's shoulder, before a vague blush colored her cheeks when Daichi flashed her a grin.

"I don't answer to you," Jasmina smiled, before continuing," but seeing as you were so kind to invite me, perhaps I will show up. We all know it isn't a party without me, right?"

"Do take care not to get hit by a car this time, alright?" Rhianne smiled.

Jasmina leaned in, hair of midnight silk spilling in the air as her crimson lips curled up in a smirk, highly dangerous even in her beauty.

"I should say the same for you," she said, voice tinged with a predatory softness," you know, it's quite dangerous on the road. One wrong step and you can just poof, break something."

Rhianne paled a bit as she looked at her, almost stumbling as she stepped backwards.

"Are you threatening me?" she said.

"No," Jasmina laughed," believe me, darling, if I was truly threatening you, you wouldn't have to ask."

She flashed her brightest smile as she held her hands up then in a pacifying move, before continueing. "I'm reformed, you see. So I think I'll show up at your little party, have some fun."

"You should," Rhianne said, before glancing at the demons behind her again," does Alan know about these guys though?"

"Why should Alan be informed of who I hang with?" Jasmina said, a flash of something dangerous in her eyes at the mention of him.

"No, it's just that –" Rhianne said," well you seem a bit friendly with them."

"So?" Jasmina said.

"Alan's quite jealous, you know," Rhianne said," the tales of him fighting with guys vying for your attention aren't few."

"Well," Jasmina said slowly, voice loud despite her quiet tone," since you seem to know Alan so well, why don't you tell him every little detail. I want you to leave nothing out. Tell him I'm –" She placed a hand in mock shock over her lips then as she parted them. "- Oh, I can't even get this over my lips - hanging out with other guys. And then, tell him that if he ever thinks he can dictate my choices in life, I will end him."

Rhianne paled as she stepped backwards, all sign of challenge slowly fading as she looked at her. "He is your boyfriend, you know."

"He's not," Jasmina said," he's a piece of shit and you seem to be obsessed with him, so tell him I said that as well."

The girl parted her lips, but before she could even say anything, Jasmina pressed her index finger on her lips in a silencing move, before continuing, her smile never leaving her lips.

"Quiet now," she said," I may have become good, but even my ever so grand patience is growing thin. The next time you speak, I'll make it clear why no one has dared to talk back to my father during all his years in business."

She waved her hand in a dismissive movement then as she laughed, although the sound was empty. "You do know how quickly businesses tend to disappear, right?"

Jasmina walked on then, halting just beside Rhianne as she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder, something otherworldly in the way power was lacing her every movement, the center of the sunshine that filtered through the windows of the hallway. Her golden skin and copper eyes made her seem like a carefully crafted treasure, a goddess hidden away, onyx glittering in her hair.

"Just to be clear," she said," that was a threat."

She walked on then, the sins following closely behind as she called out over her shoulder.

"Looking forward to the party, Rita!"

"It was Rhianne, right?" Ari said.

"Not now it is anymore," Jasmina said easily.

"I'm reformed, she says," Ira said as he air quoted her," I'm a good girl, she says."

"I am reformed," Jasmina said," if it had been the past me, she wouldn't even have to have said more than one sentence to me for me to ruin her."

"You've become mature, gorgeous," Daichi smiled fondly as he patted her on the shoulder.

"I suppose that's what going to hell does to you," Jasmina shrugged.

She frowned then as another thought dawned upon her, before a calculative look flashed across her face.

"It seems Alan hasn't told anyone he's a cheating scumbag yet," she said," trying to save his imaginary honor, I suppose?"

"Expose him at the party," Daichi said with a wide grin.

"Fight with him," Ira said as he cracked his knuckles," I can teach you how to hurt him the most in just a minute."

"Seduce whoever he cheated with and break his heart and pride," Lucy suggested.

"Even if I wasn't straight," Jasmina said," Lena lied to me."

"It's great then I'm not," Lucy smiled at her," I can seduce her for you."

"You can't!" Ari said, causing them both to look at her, her cheeks flushing at the attention.

"What do you mean I can't?" Lucy said," I pride myself in my seducing skills. Those seventeen years I was alive being trained to become an escort didn't leave only traumas, you know."

"Seventeen?" Jasmina said.

"My mother sold me," Lucy shrugged, happy-go-lucky as she hooked her arm through Jasmina's," but enough about my boring past, now, tell me more about this Lena."

Jasmina glanced at her, but let the subject rest. If there was one thing she knew, it was that pity was always unwanted and prying for more answers even more.

"Can't say much," she said," I mean, I'm a terrible person, but at least I'm not fake like her."

"Acknowledging our faults is the first step in becoming better!" Daichi cheered.

"You're like her personal mascot," Ari said with raised eyebrows.

"And that's why he's allowed to sleep in my room," Jasmina said.

"We're not?" Ira frowned offendedly.

"I hope your house is big enough," Priyanka said," or else it'll go up in flames – I can't be close to these people for too long."

"Or any people for that matter," Ari muttered.

"I am leaving some of you behind for this party if you misbehave," Jasmina warned.

"Come on now," Ira complained.

"You're walking on thin ice the most," Jasmina said.

"Daichi!" Ira said offendedly," help me out here!"

"No can do, my friend," Daichi said as he patted him sympathethically on the back," I still want to go, you know."

Jasmina rolled her eyes as the bickering continued, although she didn't mind the sins as much as she had before. As the sins stepped into the next classroom, she started to follow, but before she could walk through the door she was pulled back. She frowned as she looked up, before her eyes widened slightly at the sight of Priyanka.

"Didn't think you'd want to have an one-on-one with me," she said.

Priyanka scowled at her, but didn't reply to her sarcasm, an indecipherable emotion flashing over her face as she spoke.

"I just want to ask if you're alright," she said.

"You care?" Jasmina said," I'm touched."

"Don't make me regret this," Priyanka said, before correcting her tone to something softer," God, I'm bad at this – it's just, you've literally died, been told you're a horrible person and sent to hell and yet you don't seem fazed at all. If you keep everything in, you'll just explode."

"If you think that was the first time I've been called a horrible person, you're terribly wrong," Jasmina said.

Priyanka sighed, clenching and unclenching her fists as she shook her head.

"Don't see this as me caring for you or anything," she said," but you should talk to someone about this or at least think about it. I know this is your first day back, but if you don't get over the shock of having died and make peace with it all, you will break."

"Jasmina Nawar doesn't break," she said simply.

"I'm not talking to Jasmina Nawar right now," Priyanka said," I'm talking to Jasmina, a seventeen-year-old girl who's been hit by a car and died."

"Wow, she seems awfully tragic," Jasmina said with raised eyebrows.

"She doesn't need to be," Priyanka shrugged.

"Why do you care so much anyway?" Jasmina said," I thought you hated the whole world."

Something hauntingly lonely flashed over Priyanka's face then as she breathed out.

"No," she said," I hate myself and you see, you remind me an awful lot of the person I was back then."

She waved at herself then, small purple shards of ice shooting out of her hand like waves as she looked back at her. And when Jasmina looked her in the eyes, she could swear she saw something burning.

"You can see where that got me."
