《Wings (Eremika AU)》15. It's a secret

Mikasa woke up not knowing how a blanket had magically covered her but hey she wasn't going to complain.
Eren still lay there, the only indicators of life was the steady rise of his chest.
"Hey Eren did you notice that the heart beat monitor is gone the nurses must have taken it last night. That means your stable!" Mikasa spoke to the unconscious Eren with relife evident in her tone.
The sun soon hit at an angle where it bathed Eren and Mikasa in golden rays. Mikasa lay there enjoying the warmth and admired Eren's immaculate facial features. Erens hair was out of it's usual bun and lay across the pillow. As Eren woupd not be able to complain (or remember) Mikasa decided to play with it. First she positioned herself behind Eren and placed his head on her stomach. When she was done Eren had several mini braids and plats. Mikasa reached for her phone and discovered it wasn't there so she went back to her hospital room and searched the belongings that Annie had brought her from her own place.
Among the items Annie had compiled was a basic make-up kit. This sparked another fiendish plan in Mikasa's mind. When she reached Eren room she was met with the beautiful blonde nurse from the day before. She was inserting tubes into Eren veins, "hello nurse may I ask what those are for?"
"Oh these no need to worry, they're feeding tubes. Because people in comas can't fend for themselves we inject them with all their nessicary hydration and nutrients."
"Thank goodness, thats a releife. It was Historia, right?"
"Oh yes Historia Riess, I misplaced my name badge so I'm surprised you rember my name from us just brushing shoulders yesterday. May I ask yours?"

"Mikasa Ackerman. Please no mam or Ms. Ackerman, just Mikasa if you would."
"Well just Mikasa, what have you got there."
"Hehe shhhhhh" Mikasa unveiled the contents in her arms to Historia who understood instantly, "it's a secret, especially from him" she nodded towards Eren.
Historia ever polite smile turned into a more sinister one after Mikasa's answer, "seems like fun, I'll leave you too it then but at 2:30 I have lunch break do you mind if I bring along some more "interesting" items that we could have fun with?"
"How interesting are you thinking?"
"Curling iron interesting."
"Then be my guest. I'm going to take so many photos. Eren is gonna flip when he wakes up."
Mikasa felt she had met a new ally. Historia was glad that Mikasa had such a positive outlook on this. The way she spoke about and looked at Eren convinced Historia that Mikasa belived Eren would be back soon. However Historia knew that these things didn't always go they way loved ones wanted, there was no definite was to tell when he would wake up, if ever. In another sense she felt sorry for Mikasa. Sometimes it was better to be a realist or a pessamist, more often than not it softened the blow.
"I wonder what he is to her. Thats not the look of a filial affection."

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
