"Good bye Eren"
*Bang*
Eren had given up on resisting and was waiting for nothing, but nothing never came.
A tall muscular woman stood above him with ling brown hair in a low bun, with brown eyes and freckles.
"Looking abit worse for wear aren't ya Yaeger?"
"Ahhh.... get fucked Ymir." Eren started to cough up blood. Ymir bent down and took out a tiny plastic bottle, unsealed the lid and fed two of the white capsules it contained to Eren. Erens eyes flashed yellow for a split second after ingesting the pills.
"There that should make the pain more tolerable and keep you stable for a while but we need to get you to a hospital you've lost too much blood." Ymir took out her phone and called the police and an ambulance." Eren shuffled up to his knees and crawled over to where Jean was bleeding out.
"Ymir can you give him any of those pills he's going to die soon?" Eren asked with pleading in his eyes.
"You know as well as I do that it only works on us because of the military "tests" we went under. They make up stronger, faster and unable to feel pain, these pills would kill a normal person without proper medical treatment."
"Just give them to me, if he's going to die anyway I can at least make his suffering less."
"Sure fine." Eren fed two of the pills to Jean and it seemed to have an immediate effect as his eyes shot open. Eren moved closer to Jean sat him up to give him some dignity as he knew Jean never liked being looked down on in any sense of the word. Eren slunk down against the kitchen cabinet and turned his head to Jean.

"Hows it going horse-face?"
"I have to admit, I've been better. So....um....yeah....the drugs kinda.."
"Shut up Jean."
Jean and Eren both sat there in silence for about 2 minutes as they waited for an ambulance to arrive.
"Jean supposing either one of us dies I just have to say, fuck you."
"Hehe fuck you to Yaeger, but if I don't make it out of this there is one thing I've got to do. MIKASA I'm breaking up with you."
Eren felt like punching Jean for that comment but in his current state he decided to humor him and let out the tiniest of chuckles. Eren glanced over to Mikasa to see Ymir attending to her. Ymir noticed his stare and gave him a thumbs up, "at least shes fine."
Both Eren and Jeans eyes were about to close when they felt arms around them as they were placed on stretchers and driven at full pace to the emergency department.

Moonblood

There are drawbacks to their children having human lives and personalities before being chosen: not all share the goals of their divine mothers, and some choose to put their gifts to darker uses. Those carrying the blood of one woman, fleeing the corruption in search of a quiet life, take a different path. -=-=-=-=- Moonblood isn't so much a novel as a series of adventures of varying length. They involve a core group of people, which does grow over time. They take place in a fairly low-magic world, but despite that, our core cast are directly connected to the moons and have various abilities, including limited shapeshifting to a single individual animal form. As with all my work, unless gender, orientation, or other aspects of sexuality are explicitly stated, I suggest not making assumptions. Probably most significant, I think, is a major trans character who appears about 80K words in - no spoilers, just a note for those who care about that one way or the other.
