It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.

The Will of the Strong
The story of a young man named Alec. Alec was a really good person. He was taught to help others and not cause trouble. His good nature caused him to always be pushed around by others. This causes him to have a repressed rage that he keeps bottled up. He never gets to unleash that rage though due to his untimely death. Alec has plenty of use for it though when he is brought to a new world filled with monster and magic. In this new world the strong trample over the weak. When reaching this new world Alec makes a vow to never to let anyone determine how he lived his new life and to do whatever the hell he wants for a change. To accomplish this he becomes a necromancer, which is a profession that is hated by all. ------------------------------------- I am currently not writing this story I am doing a similar novel with distinct changes using the title Will of the Dead. Now siding with the two manipulators they pinpoint the location on a map to where such a myth likely stemmed from. A long-abandoned bomb shelter some ways away from a humble village of Aqua falls. For Andrew, however, this location hits a personal nerve, and for events yet known to the others; marks an eve of a great turning point in these four people's lives.

There will be few fights that he struggles with, and he will rarely, if ever, find his life in peril. 2) This is a slice-of-life and adventure story, which means that there will be periods of chapters without any action or conflict, but also periods of chapters with battles and exploration/adventure. 3) There will be NO petty squabbles or conflicts going on in this story, because it is meant to be a fun one, not a high-tension, drama-filled story. So it will NOT be that. If you want lots of action or lots of conflict, then find another story to read because this isn't it. 4) There will never be an overarching evil/villain/conflict to deal with in this story. Ever. 5) This story will not contain sexual content as it will end after Book 1. As such, Reid and his future boyfriend will never reach 18+ years of age in-story, so they will never have sex in the story. There will also be no harem in this story. 6) This is a part of the Royal Road April 2022 Writathon Challenge. 7) This story takes place in its own story universe, with its own rules. Please keep that in mind when reading it and other stories.
