0500 hours Monami's alarm rings and she snoozes it. Then she wakes up on the next alarm after 5 minutes...

(complaints to herself) : Itni subah ... chalo Monami decide kiya hai toh karna hi padega...Sid ko call kar kar uttha deti hoon...warna woh toh sota hi rahega!!!

Monami walks out of the room to the washroom and on her way wakes Chitra up..

Monami sees a long line and she remembers how in her childhood her mother told her that she used to wake up early so that she gets an early chance in the washroom .. and how long the lines were , how she made friends and rivals in these long lines but no one carried these grudges in the ground . Suman Ji is standing in front of Monami and they both wish each other good morning...Monami's turn comes and she gets ready

0700 hours all the cadets are assembled in the hall. Mr. Batra arrives and gets on the stage. He starts to deliver his speech

: Good Morning everyone and welcome to Parakram SAF !! I am sure all of you have met your trainers by now still let me introduce them to you ... this is Special Agent Karan Shergill (Karan nods) , Special Agent Sanjana Dubey (Sanjana nods) , Special Agent Faizuddin Siddique (Faizi nods) ..All of you have joined this programme so I am sure you must know the reason behind the programme , rising number of sleeper cells and terror attacks in the nation so we want citizens to be independent enough to save fellow citizens along with themselves. I would like to wish all the recruits luck for their training. Now I would like to handover the mike to your trainer Karan Shergill to address you...

: Good Morning all ... Batra Sir has already made all the points clear. Now it is time... repeat after me

( in unison ) : Kartavya , Sahas v Balidan Desh ki Khaatir Desh ke naam.

: It is 0800 hours , the breakfast has been served in the mess report at 0900 hours outside the registration hall so the identity cards can be issued to all of you.

In Mess

: Monu bro aisi patriotic feeling aa rahi hai na ki kya bataun... ( Monu smiles ) waise woh dekh woh mera roommate darr kar kyun baitha hai ( Monu notices ) kal raat ko bhi isne mujhse baat nahi kari thi jab maine isse hi kaha toh

: Pata nahi bro !! Tera roommate hai tu dobara jaakar baat karne ki koshish kar

Sid goes to Bala jumps and sits besides

: Bro kya hua tension mein kyun hai maine tujh se kal raat ko bhi poochha tha but tune bataya nahi.. everything fine na ??

Bala gets up and leaves. Sid and Monu look at each other.

Bala is standing last in the line and after all are issued their cards his turn comes and the authorities don't find his registration form or identity card. All the special agents are called in Mr. Batra's cabin and Bala is questioned. They ask Bala and he informs hgis truth about being a thief. He is sent out of the cabin and on being questioned by the cadets he informs them the same. Sid and Monami console him.

Karan comes out and takes Bala to a side and talks to him which is overheard by Monami

: We decided to put you in the academy jail

He notices Monami and asks Bala to come in the cabin

Monami speaks to Karan while he is on way back to the cabin :

: Tum aisa nahi kar sakte uske baad woh bhi woh jungle cross kar kar aaya hai jo hum cross kar kar aaye hain woh bhi itna hi capable hai jitne baaki cadets ... what if woh ek thief hai life mein second chances har koi deserve karta hai.

Karan ignores Monami but while entering the cabin

: Lagta hai Rani sahiba aapko bhi ghar jaane ki jaldi hai

He shuts the door on her mouth and goes inside..

: Bala looking at your abilities and records from authorities we see a future commando in you so we have decided to keep you in this academy as a cadet. Yeh form hai fill karna hai Faizi will help you.

Karan takes permission of Mr. Batra walks out while Monami tries to question him he ignores her.

Monami comes back to Sid and murmurs " "

Bala comes out and everyone questions him on the decision taken by the authority to which he replies that he has been appointed as the cadet.

An announcement is made in the speakers and the cadets are assembled in the hall

Karan takes on to the mike and starts speaking

: Abhi Ustad Ji ek bag lekar tum sabke paas aayenge aur ek sticker denge uss sticker par apna naam likh kar apne phone ki back par chipka kar switch off kar kar uss bag mein daal dena. Sunday ko bahar jaane ki permission milti hai tab apna phone collect kar sakte ho...Ustad ji sabke phones collect kar lijiye.

: Ji Sir (nods)

Ustad Ji collects all the phones...and gives a nod to Karan...Karan continues..

: Due to some unavoidable circumstances your training for today couldn't be conducted in full swing tomorrow everyone should report at the outdoor training court by 0700 hours sharp. Post training in the evening at 2000 hours you have a small party in order to mark the presence of new recruits. Dismissed.

Karan is leaving while Monami comes behind him

: Thank you Karan , tumne meri baat maan li...

: Excuse me Rani Sahiba ( while moving closer to her and Monami takes her steps back ) aapko aisa kyun lagta hai yeh poori duniya aapke aage peechhe ghoomti hai..( Monami's back touches a pillar and she can't step back more ) humne yeh decision pehle hi le liya tha toh aisa sochne ki bilkul bhi zaroorat nahi hai..

Monami straightens her back and starts moving forward while Karan takes his steps back

: Thank you.... sach batane ke liye ab mujhe koi galatfehmi nahi hogi ... aur thank you ek smart decision lene ke liye

Before Karan Shergill could speak Monami walks out with full confidence and Karan keeps looking at her....
