《Spider Web -Warrior Applyfic》Chapter Twenty^Six- The Battle

Spiderpaw sat down beside Forestpaw, rummaging through the nest underneath him with a paw.
He was making sure there were no thorns in it before he slept.
Finding none, he laid down with a grunt.
"Ready for sleep already?"Forestpaw sighed, glancing at him then at the other apprentices who were busy gossiping in the corner.
"Kind of,"Spiderpaw shrugged. "Why?"
"I want someone to talk to!"Forestpaw whimpered. "I don't like gossiping, but they all do.Please talk me to sleep..."
Spiderpaw held back the urge to roll his eyes, turning to face his friend. "Fine. What do you want to talk about?"
"What did you do today?"Forestpaw smiled, cuddling down into his bedding with a light sigh.
"Well, I shared some prey with Birchpaw and Sunpaw, then went training with Wonderstar! Then when we got back to camp, I chatted with Ravenpaw and Stormpaw, then we all watched Bubble for Brookstorm for a little while before we headed into the apprentice den."Spider titled his head in thought as he recalled his day.
As he glanced over at Forestpaw, he snorted as he saw the chocolatey cat's sides rising and falling as he slept.A light snore drifting from his parted mouth.
"Oh Forestpaw, you silly guy."Spoiderpawt yawned, burrowing his nose deep into the warm moss and trying to block out the gossipy murmurs from the other side of the den.
All was good and peaceful as he closed his eyes right, drifting asleep slowly.

"Spiderpaw! Get up!"Wonderstar yowled, ducking in the apprentice den they was empty other than him. "HawkClan needs our help! They're under attack by The Shadow Paws!"
Alarm surging through his pelt, he leapt up, determination flaring in his pale yellow eyes. "I'll go right away!"
he dipped his head to Wonderstar.
"Good, I'm on my way once I round up one more cat. There are already a few heading there now."they meowed urgently.
Taking off out of the camp, the ground became blurry under his paws as they thundered over the damp earth.Wet leaves threatened to make him slip, but he held his balance, leaping over rocks and logs in his way with little effort.

He quickly caught up to Snowdropfall, dipping his head to her as he sped past her.He hissed as a thorn branch sliced a small scratch in his side, but kept going.
As he neared the HawkClan camp, Shadow Paw smell flooded his nose and mouth, along with fresh blood.
Screaming and snarling smashed into his ears as soon as he entered the hollow of their camp.
Cats fighting cats. Everywhere.
It looked like the Shadow Paws had found more friends.
Without thinking, Spiderpaw leapt on a black and white cat, one he'd never seen before. He screeched in alarm, but didn't yell, "I'm a HawkClan warrior!" so he dug in with his claws, raking him over the back nastily. The tom wriggled desperately under him, rolling onto his back in attempt to throw him off.
But Spiderpaw held on good, although smashing his head on the ground when he rolled over.He bent his head and sunk his teeth into the tom's neck, but it loosened his grip on his back, and the black and white cat threw him off, quickly pouncing on him and holding him down by the chest, eyes gleaming.
He sunk his claws into Spiderpaw's chest and wiggling only made it worse.
Spiderpaw yowled, raking his stomach with his back paws in a sad attempt to be freed.Red started blurring his vision, and he felt this was the end.
Then a black blur flew through the air, and the scent of Ravenpaw made him sigh in relief. The pretty she-cat hooked her claws under the tom and heaved him off, Spiderpaw scrambling to his paws shakily. The two faced him side by side, aiming swipes at his head and chest, then darting away as he tried to return them.
He growled in defeat, whirling around and taking off out of the camp.
Turning, Spiderpaw decided to count them and see if they were all here.
He counted Shatteredfur and Viperclaw, plus a bunch of unknown cats.
Then where are the rest of them?
Seeing as they were pretty evenly matched, Spiderpaw took off out of the camp, heading straight for RavenClan territory. He had seen a few RavenClan Warriors in HawkClan camp, but not very many.

As he neared the camp, his suspicions were right. He heard more screams of pain and yowls of anger.
He entered the camp with a flash and saw Wonderstar fighting beside Bonestar. They were facing Wolfscar and Shakenpaw.
In the middle of the camp, Birchpaw, Forestpaw and Spotpaw were circling a large brown tabby she-cat, who looked quite murderous as she gazed at them.
She looks experienced! Where did The Shadow Paws find these cats!?
He darted forward to help the other apprentices, but was cut off by Shakenpaw, who had noticed his entrance.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Spiderpaw,"Shakenpaw narrowed his eyes at him, sinking his claws into the ground to keep from falling over. "Great to see you again."
"Not really."Spiderpaw shrugged, trotting by him.Claws sunk into his tail, stopping him from moving.Looking over his shoulder he saw Shakenpaw, eyes wide with anger.
"Stay here and fight me!"Shakenpaw puffed out his chest, pulling his lips back to reveal shiny white fangs.
"I don't want to! I'll hurt you."Spiderpaw growled, yanking his tail back.
"Pfft! Hurt me? I'll be the one hurting you!"
"Shakenpaw, I don't know what's gotten into you, but it has to stop."Spiderpaw stepped a bit closer to him, noticing he was quite a bit larger then the other tom.
"No! The Shadow Paws -- but mostly Viperclaw my idol -- taught me to get revenge! They trained me! This is what my training was for! I'm going to kill you and then kill Bonestar, that'll show him!"he smirked, suddenly leaping at Spiderpaw.
Having no time to dodge, he was hit in the chest, staggering backward.Shakenpaw wasted no time in sinking his fangs into Spiderpaw's teeth, holding on tightly.
Oh my StarClan he does want to kill me!
Panicking, Spiderpaw grasped Shakenpaw with his claws and tore him off, clumps of fur stuck between Shakenpaw's teeth. He clawed the tom's face, slashing his muzzle mercilessly.
Birchpaw and rushed over, sadness in her eyes. "Come on, Shakenpaw! You don't have to do this!"
"Yes I do, Birchpaw."Shakenpaw hissed, swiping at Spiderpaw's face. His sharp claws slashed across Spiderpaw's face, and pain filled his red eyes.
"Stop it!"Birchpaw glared at him, standing firmly beside Spiderpaw.
Spiderpaw blinked away blood, his face hurting. "Come on, Shakenpaw, is that the best you can do?"he spat.
Suddenly realization hit Shakenpaw and he staggered backward. "What have I done? What am I doing?"he whispered in horror.
Spiderpaw was about to comment, but instead his gaze switched to where Wolfscar had Wonderstar pinned to the ground, teeth in their neck.
Panicking, he looked for Bonestar, and
saw the leader buried under three cats.
Racing for Wonderstar, Spiderpaw flung himself at Wolfscar, slamming into his side and hearing a crack.Wolfscar grunted in pain, letting go of Wonderstar, whirling around and spitting blood in Spiderpaw's face.
"Back off!"Wolfscar snapped, swiping a claw at his already bloody face and deepening the cut.Spiderpaw tore his face away, scratching the Shadow Paw's shoulder a few times.
"Wolfscar, I need help over here!"a random she-cat screeched, being cornered by Spotpaw, Forestpaw, Willowpaw and Rosepaw.
Wolfscar groaned in annoyance, taking off toward the she-cat. "Coming, Razor, hold on a moment."
Turning to Wonderstar, his eyes widened as he saw his neck bloody and seemingly ripped out.He bent beside the feline, eyes wide. "Come on, Wonderstar, get up, please!"he squeezed his eyes shut until he saw white splotches, then opened them again.
"I-I'm sorry....Spiderpaw...."they whispered, eyes sad. "This....this is my last life...."
"Why didn't you tell me?! Or anyone! We could have protected you!"Spiderpaw cried, pressing his nose into Wonderstar's fur.
"Sometimes.....the best thing is death.."Wonderstar smiled weakly. "Tell Ripplestar to make you a warrior..."
Then their eyes closed and they let out a loud sigh, their chest falling still and body going limp.
Wonderstar was dead.
