Damn hormones!

I don't even know why Im crying.

Is it because I miss him already, because of how sweet he was with me last night or how adorable he was with the baby just then. Gahh! All I know is he better hurry home because I can't stand whatever this feeling is.

I get to work and try to slink to my desk. Hoping know one will notice my protruding little belly. Ryder was right I really am showing now.

I spoke to soon just as I am about 3 steps from my desk Lexi aka the gossip queen stops me.

"So when are you due?" She asks

"Due for what I respond"

"Don't play dumb with me Savannah. I know your knocked up - I must say how middle class of you" She smirks

"Oh no....Thats not a real baby. Its just a food baby. My sister and I really pigged out on Mexican last night. But hey no hard feelings"

She looks me up and down and completely ignores my last statement "Well congratulations anyway" and she bounces of back to her desk. Fuck I hate Lexi.

I sit down at my desk and Im instantly uncomfortable. Geez Ryker was right this baby has been doing some serious growing overnight. I have to pop my zipper a bit so I'm a little more comfortable at my desk.

As quick as I can I pull my chair under my desk and begin my work for the day.

8 Hours later and its time for me to head home. I haven't heard form Ryker at all since this morning.

I don't know if thats unusual or not. Damn I really need to get to know him better. I grab my handbag and take my work laptop home. I may swell get some work done while Ryker is away... nothing else to do.

When I get home I see Ray is getting ready to go out.

"Hey Sav" She calls

"Hey Ray" I reply putting my bags down in the hall " Where are you off to"

Just heading out for some cocktails... you should come. They haven't really seen you since graduation and that was like 3 months ago or whatever. Plus we can celebrate your new promotion.

I instantly grab my belly "Forgetting something"

"Oh shit sorry Sav. You can still come and have a good time. Just say your on antibiotics and can't drink. Is sure know one will question you"

"Thanks Ray" I say in response "But i don't really want to go out flaunting my belly since I haven't even told mum and dad or the boys yet.

"Oh yeah.. good point! Well don't wait up" Ray yells as she heads for the front door

"Oh I won't" I say in response even though I know no one is listening.

I head to my room and change into my yoga pants and a lose t shirt. Wow even these ares starting to get tight one me. Note to self shopping trip in order for this weekend. Buy bigger clothes and looser fitting clothes.

I take my phone out and hover over Rykers number. Just call him Sav... he probably misses you too.

I dial the number and wait for it connect. I hear it ringing and ringing and ringing then finally he picks up. "heyyyyy" he calls into the phone "Ryker?" I ask in response. This doesn't sound like him

"Angel is that you"

"Yeah I just wanted to make sure you got to wherever you were going safety"

"Yeah all good. Just kicking back at the moment before business starts"

"Are you drunk Ryker?"

"That depends?" he replies

"Depends on what?" I ask

"Depends on if being drunk will get me in trouble"

"Im not your parents Ryker you're a grown 24 year old man.... you can do what ever you want"

he snorts "Hah 24... good one Angel"

I'll let that slide I will get his age out of him eventually. Just you wait

"So how was your day Savannah"

"It was ok. The stupid assistant asked me 100 questions about when my due date is and who the father of my baby is. I just tried to play it off and act like I didn't know what she was talking about"

"Oh Angel Im hurt"

"What? Why?"

"Why don't you just tell them about the baby and me. Whats the big deal? Ar you ashamed of me?

"Thats not it at all Ryker. I just want to tell my parents first. Speaking of which when are you free. I think they'll want to meet you"

He dosent respond. I hear yelling and giggling in the background. Girls... he's around Girls. Are you fucking kidding me

"What was that" he slurs

"Don't worry" I say in an icy tone

More yelling and this time I here a girl say Rykers name

What the fuck. I will kill him. My blood boils.

"Ryker?"

no response

"Ryker? Are you still there?"

The phone goes dead

He did not just hang up on me
