I glance up and down at him while getting comfortable in his truck. He's wearing his signature dark jeans, white t shirt and leather vest. God he makes everything look good.

I clip up my seatbealth and he starts to drive.

"Whats with the vest " I ask

He lets out a small chuckle

"Its called a cut Angel" he says making direct eye contact with me

"Everyone who belongs to the club has one"

I nod " I see" 

He points to a small rectangle on his vest.... oops his cut

"This is the chapter we belong to - were the Crawford Originals"

"This is my position in the club" he says pointing to a badge that reads Vice President

"Ohhh so you're the vice president" I say

"Yep" he replies

"Whose the president?" I ask curiously

"That would be my pops - Landon King" he answers

I just nod. I don't really understand how all the motorcycle club stuff works but I guess I am going to have to figure it out.

"So what do you do anyway" Ryker asks

"Im an associate Lawyer"

he whistles "Wow! You must be smart Angel"

I don't know how to respond so I just smile and flash my teeth.

We finally arrive at the doctors office

I have to fill out new patient paperwork. While I'm filing it out I realise I know nothing about Ryker.

Out of no where I say "How old are you?"

He looks at me and replies "Old enough"

"No seriously Ryker... How old are you?"

"How old are you? He replies in response to my question

"I just turned 23" I say honestly

"Hmmmm" He hums without answering my questions

"Yep" I say "So....." I go to say before I am cut off.

 "Savannah Perry" The nurse calls

I grab Rykers hand and he looks puzzled

"What did you think i'd leave you out here in the waiting room?"

He seems shocked. But nevertheless I drag him in behind me.

"Hi There Ms Pery. Im Doctor Anvers"

I smile "Pop this on and I'll be back in a minute to check on you and your baby" she says with a wide smile

"Please turn around Ryker"

His smile turn into a cheeky grin

"Aint nothing I haven't seen before Angel"

"Well i don't remember so please turn around"

He nods and turns his back to face me. I quickly slip of my slacks and blouse and put the gown on

"All good" Calls Dr Anvers

"Yep" I reply

Ryder turns around and comes closer to the the examination table

"so..." Dr Anvers Says

"You're definitely pregnant. Lets find out how fare along you are and when your little one will be entering the world.

She grabs the gel from the shelf

"This will be a little cold" She smiles at me

She places the ultrasound wand on my belly

"Theres your baby" She says

I look and see a little jellybean shaped blip on the monitor "thats my baby?" I ask

Ryker chimes in "our baby" he says

"Yep thats the little bundle"

"Your measuring at about 8 weeks" She says

"So your little one should be due around Christmas time"

" Thank you so much" I say. Tears welling in my eyes.

"Not a problem Savannah"

"Remember to keep hydrated and get lots of rest. I will see you in about 5 weeks. By then I will be able to let you know the gender if you want to know"

I don't say anything I just look at Ryker. Trying to read his reaction of what just happened. But nothing.
