《Who Are You》Chapter 63

"Really Woobin?" Yoongi questioned, looking at the cute attempt Woobin made for us to keep our identities hidden.
He had approximately ten policemen forming a dome to hide us. I was laughing my ass off and Mihi herself was trying her hardest not to laugh.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Bro," I added, somehow controlling myself, "This will look like a convict is coming. Yoongi, don't you have bodyguards?"
"Yeah. I have and they must be coming in sometime," he responded to which Woobin pouted. Aww, poor lad.
"Hey Mi, give him a kiss for his efforts," I said and he smiled almost instantly. MiHi shrugged, standing on her toes to peck his lips and brush of crimson painted his skin.
Next thing I am asking is MiHi get married, make babies!
"I didn't sign up to see this," Yoongi complained. Liar, he obviously enjoyed seeing that.
His bodyguards approached and escorted is to the car. MiHi and Woobin followed behind us.
I exhaled to calm myself down.
"You okay?" He asked and I nodded but I was feeling jittery and anxious. He was sitting beside me just watching my expressions, I reached for his hand, intertwining his fingers with mine and he held my hand firmly and smiled.
"You look so pretty today," he said and tilted his head to look at me more intently.
"You look so handsome too," I responded with a smile to which he didn't respond but his cheeks did. Taking his pale skin to my benefit, the blush on his cheeks was so easily visible that I laughed.
But the laugh was short lived and died as soon as we reached the broadcasting set.
"Take a deep breath," he said and I complied.
"Now listen, forget everything. Just be true to what you felt. If a question becomes very intrusive, just say no. And don't curse for God sake, okay?" I nodded.
He leaned in and pecked my lips once, making me flustered. I was staring at him with wide eyes and he accentuated a smile.

"Now, put on your mask and shades."
I fumbled with the mask as my movements were unreasonably clumsy. He gently took the mask off my hands, placing it on my face. His fingers slightly brushing against my skin sending tingles throughout my body.
This reminds me of our first encounter, then we took off each other's mask and today, here we are.
He placed his mask and sunglasses on. I lowered my shades a bit on my nose to watch him clearly, "I'm fine. I'm totally fine!" I imitated Ross.
He lowered his glasses too to look at me, "You can't just give up. Is that what dinosaurs would do?" He laughed and so did I at his Friends reference.
His bodyguards escorted us again to the set. I saw Minho standing by the side. We both sat on the couch prepared for us, the cameras, the lights, right in front of us.
Suho entered, accompanied with a lady as we already knew. She had short black hair that were a neat sweep to give way to her perfectly carved face. I am not a homo, but she... damn! That was Minho's idea to have two interviewers and I like it.
"We start in ten seconds," the director announced and my pulse pounded in my veins.
"3... 2... 1... Start!"
"Welcome to all present here. It's an honor to our news channel and entire journalism industry to have such an enigma with us today," Suho announced jubilantly.
"The writer of the bestsellers accross the globe, Jerry Jarvis," the lady completed her sentence. I looked towards Yoongi and he gave me a slight nod.
I took a deep intake of air and took off my mask. Yeah, Marinette is Miraculous lady bug!
I saw Suho's eyeballs bulging out but he composed himself. There's a reason we kept it a live broadcast.
"Please introduce yourself, Miss Jarvis," the lady said.
"Greetings to all. I am Park Jee, whom people know by the pen name of Jerry Jarvis," I smiled... Forced a smile.

"It's such a pleasant surprise to know that Jerry is a woman! It makes me proud," the lady passed with an enthusiastic smile.
"Yeah. I can assure you, most of the anonymous writers would be females," I responded, feeling a bit at ease because of her amiable approach.
"I believe that's true," she said and smiled, her red painted lips never curving down as if she cannot. It didn't seem pretence at all while by her side, Suho was trying hard to conceal his frown.
"So, why did you chose writing as your career?" She asked.
"Everyone has their own ways of expressing the stillness of their hearts. Mine just turned out to be writing."
"Why did you keep your identity hidden then?" Suho questioned, his smile at its fakest.
"Because I felt there was no point telling anyone anything that was happening inside of me. And does it really matter who I am? Whether you take a doughnut hole to be a blank space or an entity unto itself is a purely metaphysical question and that doesn't change the taste of the doughnut at all."
"That's a really intellectual response as we expect from you," the lady complimented and I simply smiled.
"But why did you decide to come out now?" He almost smirked as if he thought he won.
Your existence gives me a headache, go stand in the corner.
"Um... It's like, the mask was just causing discomfort," I shrugged and added, "And now as I came accross so many facts, I realised it's no use hiding oneself when your heart is exposed to millions."
The lady gave me a warm look and asked, "Can you give us insights of your new book?" Man, she was so sweet.
Ma'am are you from France?
'cause
Madamn!
"Sure, so, it's a book on warmth. I usually don't write such topics but now I have started to expand my realm as my experiences broaden. It's about finding the warmth and sticking to it, like finding home."
"I would really love to hear about this from you, I mean we all want to," she encouraged.
"The way lovers lean onto each other. I've been thinking about the physics of it, the gravity of hearts. The first human instinct is to find something to lean on. We all have it, the radar for warm solid things. I am good at being lonely, but loneliness makes you heavy.
So, what do you do when you don't find someone to lean on? You fold. There's warmth here too, a centre. It was just, it wasn't enough. So, it's a story, a kind of quest of finding the true meaning of leaning on. That just do not include intimacy, it's so much more."
"If I am not wrong Miss Jee, if I may call you that," Suho asked and I nodded.
"You ran away from your wedding a few days earlier. That caused quite a blow, do you have anything to say?"
Motherfucker, I wanna give him an acupuncture therapy with fucking swords!
I laughed, "You are asking me as if you're the judge and I am the accused. Well, maybe I am because I did the sin of falling in love. I fell in love and therefore I cannot just make the life of my fiance a rotting hell for business reasons. I hope you can relate, sir. Isn't this really personal?"
"I believe, the man accompanying you today is your love. Is my assumption correct."
"Yeah absolutely. I appreciate your vigilance," I praised and she blushed a little, smiling broadly.
"If I am not being rude, the world would be excited to know who are you, sir," Suho asked.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.
Yoongi took off his mask and I could hear muffled gasps all over the studio.
"Nice to meet you, I am Min Yoongi, Jee's boyfriend."
Boom!
