Adam's jet above.

"Will you calm down?"

"No, I'm too freaking excited."

He rolls his eyes. "Buckle up."

Adam and I are on the plane to London. I just finished my finals, thank God. I can't wait to be in London with him. I know we're going to have a nice time. I'm happy that I'm going to get to know him and have alone time with him.

We weren't able to go to our 'date' during the weekend because I decided to hang out with Brie. I can't imagine how she feels not having any friends here so I wanted her to feel welcomed and showed her around.

Tyler and Jacob wanted all of us to go to Germany with them but sadly, we all had different plans. Nicole is going to Paris to see her sister then she and Camilla are going to Italy for their internships. Jas is doing hers in the governors office so she's staying.

Chloe is going to Germany with the guys.

Em and Colton are also staying here because Colton has to work. It's not easy being a twenty two year old CEO.

"I want to sit beside you." I speak.

"Then come and sit beside me and shut up."

I glare at him. "I hope you're not going to be mean for the rest of the trip." I say then go over and sit beside him.

He lightly touches my hair. "I like this."

I shake my two ponytails. "Now you're going to make me to start wearing twin tails everyday."

"For me?"

"Yes." I blush.

"I like other things too."

"Really?"

"Buckle up." He says.

I roll my eyes. "Stop bossing me around."

I put on the seatbelt.

"So how was your finals, my dear beautiful wife? Oh! Most papers were easy except fucking Business and Math. Really but you're-"

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Teaching you how to have a conversation with a friend." I grin at him.

He rolls his eyes. "Will this 'friend' of mine shut up if I tell her there's sushi on the plane?"

"Really?!"

"Yes and you won't get any unless you shut up."

"Gosh! You're like the worst friend ever."

He groans. "Will you at least shut up about the whole 'friend' thing?"

I finally shut up and fifteen minutes after the plane takes off, the flight attendant brings Adam and I our food.

"Thanks, Cherry." Adam says.

"Thank you." I smile at her then look at my Sushi!

"It looks so good." I say then take a picture of it. I take another picture then grin. "Perfect."

I look at Adam's plate. "What's that?"

"Shrimp Scampi. Do you want to try it?" He asks and I nod.

He scoops some on his fork then raises it to my mouth. I open and he feeds me.

"It's delicious."

"More?" He asks, his voice slightly husky and I shake my head.

I take my sushi and something in me twists as I see Adam eating with the fork that was just in my mouth. I watch as he wraps his mouth around it and I feel tingles all over me. He is so fucking sexy and is it weird that I like that he is eating with the same fork?

"Stop staring at me." His voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"I'm not staring at you." I lie then continue eating my Sushi.

"I don't have a live in maid or a chef. The housekeeper comes everyday except Sundays to clean then she goes back home."

We just arrived at Adam's London house and he is giving me a tour.

"Alright." I reply.

"This is your room. If you want any changes, let me know."

"No, it's perfect. I like it."

"Okay, get settled then. Do you want to eat anything?"

I shake my head.

He nods then walks out of the room.

"Amelia."

"Amelia."

I lightly open my eyes and see Adam sitting by my bed, staring at me. "Wake up."

"What time is it?" I ask in my sleepy voice.

"Six in the morning."

I glare at him with a frown then close my eyes back to sleep.

"If you don't wake up now, we are going to be late."

I groan. "Late for what?"

"It's a surprise. Just wake up."

The word 'surprise' got me so I rub my eyes and sit up.

Adam is in his workout clothes and he's looking at me with amusement in his eyes. "Good morning." He smiles softly.

My heart melts. I can get used to waking up to that smile every morning.

I smile back and run my fingers through my hair. "What should I wear?"

"Something sporty." He answers then takes a sip of his coffee.

"Okay." I sigh and watch him leave the room.

After taking a shower, I put on my clothes and a little makeup on then head downstairs.

"Here. I made you a coffee." Adam hands me a cup.

"I don't like coffee." I frown.

"You will like this one."

"Why?"

"It's the most expensive coffee in the world."

"How much is it?"

"Three hundred pounds a cup."

My eyes widen. "You're joking."

He shakes his head then slides the cup over to me. I take it then take a sip and my eyes widen.

"It's not bitter but it's still has a strong flavour. It's really good." I say and he gives me a knowing look.

****

Adam brought me to a skydive!

That's one of the top things on my bucket list.

"Do you want to do it?" He asks.

"Hell yeah!"

We check in at the reception and I had to sign a bunch of papers then they assign me to a tandem. It's a private place so Adam and I are the only people here.

I was guided to a dressing room where I put on a suit above my outfit.

"So Brady is going to be your tandem. He's going to do the jump with you." An instructor tells me then gives me a brief lesson.

We head to the small airplane and I look at Adam nervously.

"Are you nervous?" He asks.

"A little bit. What if I die?"

"Then I will become a widower." He jokes.

I hit his arm. "It's not funny!"

He takes my hand. "I've done this like five times and look at me. I'm not dead. It's really fun."

"You've really jumped before."

"Yes." He nods.

I take a deep breath then follow the guys into the plane while Adam stays on the ground.

The door of the airplane closes and we are suddenly flying up in the air.

"How are you feeling?" Brady asks.

"Nervous and excited." I reply, shaking.

When the we reach ten thousand feet, the door opens. "I can't do it." I blurt.

"Yes, you can." The instructor encourages.

One of the guys hand me a communicator. "Here, your husband wants to talk to you."

"Adam, I'm scared." I say into the device.

"It's fine. You can do it."

"But it's so high!" I cry.

"I know but there's a parachute and Brady is going with you."

"I'm so nervous." I sigh.

"You have just fifty seconds to go down, Mrs Black." The instructor says.

"You can do it, Amelia." Adam says reassuringly.

I silently pray then sigh. "Okay. Let's go Brady."

Brady and I move closer to the ending of the jet, the air blowing up really hard on our faces.

"In a count of three." One of the guys says from behind us.

1 2 3 and we jump. Oh my God!

I scream out loud and finally open my eyes. It feels like I'm floating in the sky. "Whooooo!"

Brady launches the parachute and like sixty seconds later, we drop on the ground.

Adam is standing from a little distance, looking at me. He looks absolutely hot. He is wearing a leather jacket above it and black skinny jeans and his hands are also covered in black gloves.

So bad boy-ish and sexy!

"I did it!" I run over to him and jump on him. He wraps his hands around me. "I know you would. I'm so proud of you."

I lift my head from his neck and give him a grin. "You're the best." I lean forward and kiss him on the cheek.

I'm so glad that he brought me here this is one of the best experiences ever.

"I know." He smiles.

I chuckle then put my legs down then hug him again. "Thank you."

His smile drops softly. "A wife does not need to thank her husband."

****

"What's this place?" I ask as Wesley, Adam's driver and bodyguard pulls us up in front of a large gate.

"It's an orphanage." Adam replies in a low voice.

"Orphanage?"

The gate opens and my mouth drops. It doesn't look like a children's home at all. The building is so big. It's like a very huge mansion surrounded by fields and beautiful flowers.

We take the road that goes behind the mansion and see some kids playing soccer.

Adam gets out of the car and comes over to open my door. I get out and push my hair my back. "Do you own this place?"

He just shrugs.

There are two more buildings at the back but not as big as the main one.

"Guys! Look who's here!" One of the soccer instructors (a guy probably in his twenties) calls.

Everyone's attention turns to us and all the kids start rushing to Adam, yelling his name in excitement.

A little boy, around eight years old is the first to reach us and he tightens his arms hard around Adam. Adam hugs him back and ruffles his hair. He then starts hugging them one by one.

"Guys, say hi to Amelia." He says after.

"Hi, Amelia." A little girl speaks first.

"Hey, give me a hug." I lean down a little and hug her. "What's your name?"

"Lena."

"Beautiful." I grin.

All the kids start hugging me and I hug them back, taking each of their names.

"So who's winning the game?" Adam asks.

"We're letting the girls win."

"Oh, please! You guys are losers."

Adam folds his arms. "Hmmm, we'll see who's telling the truth. Let's go take a seat, Amelia."

He takes my hand in his and we go over the the bleachers and sit.

I watch the kids as they happily play the game.

"What are their ages?" I ask Adam.

"Eight to seventeen but there are more kids. Even babies."

I look at him in surprise. "Really?"

"There are over three hundred children here."

"Oh, wow."

I look at the players and I smile sadly. I can't imagine growing up without my parents.

I feel a drop of water on me and I look up.

"Alright, children! Time to go inside. It's about to rain."

"We want to play in the rain!"

"You'll get sick." Adam stands up and I stand up with him because the rain starts getting heavy.

"Let's see who's going to be the first to run back in!" The instructor yells then comes over to Adam and I.

"We haven't been introduced. I'm Maxwell, football coach." He stretches his hand.

"Amelia." I take his hand then smile, "we call it soccer though."

Maxwell burst into laughter. "Right! Americans."

"Are we going inside or are we going to stand here and soak?" Adam speaks sardonically.

"Good to see you, Mr Black." Maxwell chuckles and we start rushing inside the building.

As we go inside, my eyes widen. I've been to many orphanages around the world with my parents but I have never seen one like this.

It's like a freaking hotel. We're in a large entranceway. It is so big with a vintage luxurious design. There are servants or should I say staff everywhere handing the kids towels and some are helping the little ones to wipe.

A woman who looks around early to mid fifties comes over to us. She is wearing a short light pink dress and she has a warmth and welcoming expression on her face.

"Hey, Margarita." Adam greets her with a hug.

"My boy." She smiles and hugs him back then looks at me after. "Welcome to Walker Boarding House, Mrs Black."

Oh my God! Walker? As in the Walkers?

"Thank you. It's nice to meet you." I smile back, rubbing my arms. I'm completely soaked.

"Margarita, why don't you take Amelia to one of the girls' room to dry up." Adam says.

"Alright. Please come with me. The elevators are that way."

I follow her behind my eyes going around in shock. It's really like a hotel.

There are chandeliers hanging on the ceilings. The floors are marble with cream carpets around some places and colourful beautiful sofas and some bean bags around.

The interiors are not that serious. You can tell that it's a children's home but it is still very nice and clean. There are a few art pieces around the walls as well. Just wow!

"I'm sorry but is this really an orphanage?" I blurt, not being able to control myself.

Margarita looks at me with a smile. "Yes, it is. This was built right before Mr and Mrs Walker passed away. Adam took over after their death and did the opening."

"Oh, Wow."

"I don't know if he has told you this but I was his nanny when he was staying with the Walkers here in London." She shares as we wait for the elevator to arrive.

"Really?" I ask softly.

"Yes, I was hired when he first moved with them. They were really good people. In my eyes, the best people in the world. Adam loved them like they were his parents and they loved him like he was theirs. He meant everything to them." She answers.

"That's beautiful."

One of the elevators open and we go in.

"They wanted to build a home for children who have no families so they created the plan for this place where the children could have everything and feel at home." Margarita continues.

"Adam said there are over three hundred kids here."

"Yes, he travels around the world and transfer some children from other orphanages to this home while some of the kids are originally from here and all around England. Getting kids from other countries is a very hard process but it is the most important. The first time I traveled with him was to Pakistan and it was so heartbreaking. It was shortly after a flood, a lot of kids had lost their parents and in some cases parents were forced to abandoned their children because they had no money to take care of them."

My heart twists. "Oh my God. That's terrible."

"Some of the orphanages we visited were like tents and huts. Adam was able to give those parents that had nothing a lot of help and took some of the kids that lost their parents in the flood along with us."

"That's amazing."

We arrive at the floor and Margarita and I start walking in a long hallway. There are a lot of doors on each side. I'm guessing it must be the kids' rooms.

"He is just as good as the Walkers were. He has a heart of gold. People like him are what reminds us that this world is a better place. This place was opened three years ago and we have children from twenty-six countries and how he cares for them, it's just so beautiful." She says, tears softly spilling from her eyes.

My heart clenches harder.

"Don't cry, Margarita! You're gonna make me cry as well." I say softly.

"The children, they look up to him so much. He gives them hope. They love him just as he loves them. He didn't have to do all this, you know." She motions to the place. "But he did." She weeps.

"Oh, Margarita. I want to give you a hug but I don't want to get you wet."

"Oh, come here." She hugs me. "Don't let him go, okay. Arrange marriage or not, I know that he is one of the best husbands in the world."

"He told you, huh?" I smile.

She smiles back. "Mrs Annabelle Walker and I raised him together, he is like a son to me. He tells me almost everything."

"How old was he when he moved here?"

"Just six years old. He stopped visiting home when he was eleven but he always had the picture." She says softly.

"Which picture?"

"The one of you and him when you were little. He talked about you a lot."

"Really?" I whisper.

Awwww. It still crazy for me to think how Adam and I were connected when we were kids.

"Of course." She smiles then we go inside a room. It has four beds and there are two girls seating in two of the beds.

An auburn haired and a blonde.

The blonde looks up and literally screams.

"Amelia! Oh my God! I'm a huge fan!" She stands up, excitedly.

"Hi." I smile at her.

"Can I hug you?!"

"Yes." I walk closer to her and we hug. She almost squeezes me to death when Margarita clears her throat.

She releases me. "Sorry." She says sheepishly. "I'm Abbie."

"Nice to meet you, Abbie.

"Hi, my name is Freya." The auburn haired girl says, smiling. While Abbie has an American accent, hers is thick British.

"Hello." I hug her and she hugs me back.

"Ooh, that's a first!" Abbie exclaims.

I pull away from Freya and look at her. "What?"

"Freya hates hugs. She says that it's 'so American'." She answers rolling her eyes and I chuckle.

"That's because your hugs are suffocating." Freya glares at Abbie.

"Whatever." Abbie says and takes a seat on her bed.

A woman comes in with towels in her hands. "It took a few minutes to find the new towels. Sorry for the delay." She says, handing me the towels.

"Thank you."

"That's the bathroom."

I enter the bathroom and unwrap the towel. It comes with a bathrobe so I take of my clothes and put it on. I see a wall hairdryer so I dry my hair.

When I come out, there are a couple more girls in the room. They introduce themselves and I sit on the beds. We all start talking about the place and they tell me about themselves.

They go to different schools so that they can learn to interact with the outside world. They are allowed to go out only three days a week and they have a curfew for ten pm.

"Has anyone ever tried to runaway?"

They all share a look when I ask that.

"No. How can we? This is the best life that anyone of us could even dream of having. We understand how lucky we are. We are grateful to Adam and the matrons. We could never do that to them." One of the older girls, Gladys says softly.

I feel bad for asking so I just smile softly and say, "Yeah."
