Amelia's outfit above.
"You should eat your vegetables."
Adam gives me a look. "What are you? My mum?"
"No but broccoli are really nutritious. They protect you against cancer, promote healthy digestion, slow ageing and are packed with vitamin C and K which-"
"Shut up. You sound sound boring."
God! He's so rude and if I have to admit, his rudeness doesn't bother me anymore. I've gotten used to it.
"Whatever." I roll my eyes then continue eating the delicious omelette that Marcus made me.
"May I join you guys?" I hear my sister's voice and I look up to see her standing by the doorway.
"Mae? What are you doing here?"
"Blessing you with my presence." She says then walks to the table taking the seat that is facing me.
"Hi, Mae." Adam says but she ignores him.
"Mae." I say in a warning tone.
She knows that it's rude to ignore others.
She snaps her head up and looks at Adam. "You missed ice cream Wednesday again! Seriously? This is like the hundredth time."
He sighs. "I am truly sorry about that. Sometimes I just get too busy and a lot of things slip from my mind."
Okay, I'm confused.
She shakes her head."You can make it up to me by letting me crash here for some days."
He gives her a warm look. "Of course. You are very welcome to stay for as long as you want."
I decide to speak then. "Excuse me for interrupting but why are you crashing here?"
Mae looks at me. "I had a fight with dad because he wouldn't let me go on a date with this guy that I really like."
"Aren't you too young to be going on dates?" Adam asks her.
"Of course not! Amelia had her first kiss when she was twelve. I'm fourteen."
"How do you know that?"
"I read your diaries." She shrugs and I just shake my head.
My phone keeps beeping with messages from Leah so I stand up. "I'm leaving. I will see you guys at the fundraiser." I smile.
"What fundraiser?" Mae asks, brushing her hair back.
"Adam will fill you on. I'm have to go now. I'm late." I take my bag and head out.

"So what happened with the Art professor?" Chloe asks Camilla.
"He just wasn't for me." She replies.
"Why?" Jasmine asks her.
"Cause he's so boring! And not rich enough to date me apparently."
I furrow my eyebrows. "Is that what he said?"
"No, that's what I told him."
"What?" I snap.
"Amelia! He has one car."
"Wow, you really are nuts." Chloe whispers, looking at her.
"I want to date someone that will take me to Paris when I'm upset and shower me with diamonds, Chanel handbags and Louboutins. Noah can't meet up to my standards."
"Good luck finding someone who will." Jasmine mutters.
"Oh, I already have." She grins. "Let's just hope that he's interested."
Shaking my head. "I can't believe that you broke Aston's heart like. Imagine what he felt when you told him he wasn't rich enough."
That's insulting. She should have just broken up with him without giving him the actual reason for doing so. I hope he doesn't fail us.
"He was cool about it, honestly because he knows me." She says.
"Amelia! Look who's coming!" Nicole calls from behind the deli case where I have different desserts for sale.

Shayla said that we can bring something for sale to raise more money so just this morning, I found out that Rafael's wife, Serena is also a member of the club.
She said that she rarely attend their meetings or go to their parties but she was excited about this so she brought some art pieces for sale.
I went over to her book earlier and bought a beautiful lake portrait. It's so pretty.
Adam is wearing dark blue skinny jeans with a loose white shirt and brown suede boots. He looks sexy and successful in his suits but he also wears casual clothes so well.
"Hi." I hug him. He hugs me back.
"Welcome to our booth, Mr Black." Nicole grins at him.
Leah is supposed to be the salesperson but Nicole seems to loves the job so they are doing it together.
"Thanks." He looks at her.
"Is there anything that you want?"
His eyes scan around the deli case where we have different flavours of pies, cakes, brownies. cheesecakes and so on.
"What's that?" He points at that.
"It's a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting."
He nods at her then starts pointing at the items. "I will have this, this, this, this and this."
I stare at him in shock. "Adam, that's everything except the pecan pie and cream puffs."
"I know." He replies not bothering to look at me.
"Who is going to eat all that?"
He looks at me. "We are."
"You mean, you and I?"
"Yes."
I start laughing. "You're hilarious. I'm never going to eat all these."
He crosses his arms over my chest. "Why sell something that you're not going to eat?"
"I can't have this much sugar, especially with the holidays coming. I have a lot of jobs and also, I don't have to eat it to know that it's good." I point.
"Hi, what do we have here?" Nathan Carter reaches our booth.
"Hey, Nathan." I smile at him.
"Amelia, how are you doing?"
"I'm fantastic." I tell him and from a distance, I see the one and only Brie Payne talking with someone.
"Dude, you asked us to come and support your wife but you don't answer your fucking phone, seriously?" Nathan asks Adam and I turn my attention back to them.
Adam shoots him a glare. "Fuck off."
I smile at him. I can't believe that he asked his friends to come. That is so sweet.
"Hi." Brie reaches us, wearing a pretty yellow dress with a huge bow on the front. Her hair is light brown with blonde highlights and it compliments her beautiful face.
Nathan wraps his arm around her. "Angel, this is Amelia."
"Hi, Amelia." Brie hugs me and I hug her back. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Brie."
"I know. I watch your vlogs." I smile after pulling away.
"Oh! Right. Nathan mentioned so. Thank you." She smiles.
"These are my friends."
"Hiiiii." The girls chorus with smiles while Jacob gives her a nod.
"I like your dress. Is it Christian Siriano?" Nicole asks her.
"Yes it is, thank you." Brie replies.
"Are you from LA?" Camilla asks her, looking at her necklace with Los Angeles written on.
"Born and raised." She answers.
"I used to live there." Camilla tells her.
"Really?"
And just like that, the girls and Brie fell into a conversation.
Nathan and Adam also moved to the side and they seemed to be engaged in a very deep conversation.

"Hi, can I have more brownies, please?" A little girl who was here earlier asks.
"Sure, sweetie. How many?" I smile.
"Three."
"That will be fifteen dollars."
Jacob starts choking. "Five dollars for a single brownie? Are you trying to scam the little girl?"
"Of course not. The chef used one of the most expensive cooking chocolates in making them." I reply, collecting the brownies from Leah and handing to the girl.
"You didn't make these yourself?" Adam asks looking at me.
"Her mum's chef made everything." Jacob tells him.
"I made the coconut cake!" I glare at him.
"Your desserts are ready, Adam." Nicole says.
"How much is everything?"
I wave my hand, dismissively. "Oh, don't worry about that. It's on me."
"I'm paying." He deadpans.
"No, you're not."
"I am. I asked for so many things so that I can help you raise the money. That's what people do at fundraisers." He says.
I roll my eyes then grab two hundred dollars from my purse and hand it over to Leah. "That's for Adam."
I turn back to him and grin. "If you want to help raise money, there's a donation box over there."
"I have already donated."
"Here you go, Mr Black." Leah hands him the bags.
"Keep it for me there, Leah. Thanks."
"You're welcome."
He then looks at me and I grin. He pulls me close then kiss my cheek. "Thank you, wifey."
I lean into him and my grin widens.
****
"Are you nervous?" Camilla asks.
"No, not really." I reply.
We are on our way to confront Simone. The fundraiser has been going on for almost three hours now. Everyone is just hanging out and chatting so we slipped.
When I arrived, I asked Cooper to keep an eye on Simone so that we can catch her when she's alone. He just texted me and said that she's by her car alone.
"Hello, Simone."
"Hi, is there anything that I can help you with?" She smiles.
Her black hair is curled, stopping right under her chin. She is wearing white shorts with a Dior corset top tucked inside and white Adidas sneakers. She looks beautiful.
Camilla fakes a chuckle. "Let's just cut the bullshit. We know what you did."
Her brow rises. "What are you talking about?"
"We know that you started a rumour about Amelia and Adam and that you also tried to tip Post Elite but they refused to publish the article. Why?" Cam crosses her arms.
Her face turns cold. "The sisters, dazzling diamonds in meetings and big donations are mine. This not a place for a girl like you who still does what mummy and daddy wants. This my territory." She says, looking at me.
"So you created a lie so that the sisters won't accept Amelia?"
"But your lie also affected Adam. Isn't he your friend?" I speak.
She scoffs. "Your husband is more of a frenemy, trust me."
I raise an eyebrow. What does she mean?
"I mean you no harm, Amelia so here's what I think; Adam and I have been friends for a long time so I know the real reason behind your marriage. I have the dirtiest shit on him. Sign out of the sisters and I swear all those secrets are safe with me."
"Why do think of me as a threat?"
"I know you are a threat. You are Bluefall's golden girl. A Smith who is married to a Black. You have all the social weapons."
"So that's why you're threatening me?"
She shrugs.
"How about if I tell you that I know your secrets too, Ivania?" I threaten back.
Her body turns rigid. The smug look on her face disappears. "How dare you?" She whispers, her body shaking.
Simone's real name is Ivania Holger.
She is originally from Costa Rica. She has two kids there with different dads because she used to work as an escort. Her parents made her quit the job, wanting her to get married to her second child's father but she didn't want to so she shot him his leg on their wedding day and ran away to the United States.
She met her current husband at the airport. He fell in love with her and helped her in covering up her past and a few months later, she got married to him.
Her social life means everything to her. After moving here, she took etiquette and accent classes just so she could fit in.
I raise my chin and move closer to her. "You are right. I am Adam Black's wife and I am Elle and Edward's Smith daughter and if you really knew what that meant, you wouldn't have tried to even mess with me in the first place. Your threats will never scare me."
"Post Elite didn't publish the little article you sent because even they know not to mess with people like us so now, I want you to tell the sisters that you lied to them and from now on, Amelia is the boss." Camilla takes on.
The boss. What the fuck?
I roll my eyes at her then look at the Simone. "Skip the last part, Simone. I'm not interested in that. I just don't want to be looked at with disrespect."
She pulls out her phone from her purse then quickly types something and sends.
"Here." She shows her phone screen to me.
'Total misunderstanding on the whole Amelia Black situation. That was not what happened so you can be nice to her.'
I watch as a bunch of 'okays' keep coming as replies. The sisters really worship her.
"Good." Camilla says then looks at me. "I guess we're done."
As we're about to walk away, Simone grabs her arm. "Say anything to anyone and I will make sure you lose something." She says looking at the both of us.
"Get your prostitution hands off me!" Cam shrug Simone's hands off and we walk away.
On our way back, we see Chase looking straight at us. "Hi, Chase." I smile at him.
He ignores my greeting. "Were you two speaking with Simone?" He asks with a serious expression on his face.
"Yes."
"Stay away from her. She's bad news."
"We can handle her, we just did." Camilla shrugs.
"What happened?" He asks.
"None of your business." I state then grab Camilla's hand and we continue walking.
"Where is Adam?" I ask Leah as we reach our booth. I know everyone is probably socialising all over but he doesn't do that.
"He followed Serena and Rafael to Serena's booth." Leah answers.
"Alright." I look at our deli case and my eyes widen. "Oh my God! We're sold out!" I exclaim, happily.
"Yes. They were only a few items left do Chase, Rafael and Nick bought them all."
"That's amazing." I hug her then look back at the deli case.
"Hey, Drew just texted me. We're leaving." Camilla says.
"Okay." I smile then give her a hug. "Thank you so much for everything, Cam. I love you."
"Love you too." She kisses my cheek.
At the fundraiser, Shayla goes on the stage where the DJ is.
She looks gorgeous as always. Her strawberry blonde flows beautifully around her shoulders. She is wearing a white short dress with silver heels. I watch as she collects a mic from the DJ and she taps it a little then starts speaking.
"The Blossom sisters and I have always been passionate about helping those in need. For this event, we focused on three foundations, Tulip, Light And HOPE. I would like to thank everyone who volunteered and put effort into this without expecting anything in return. Despite what most people think, charity is not about showing how much money you have. It's about giving love and kindness and improving lives. Everyone that came here today has given us a piece of their heart. We're grateful."
She ends the speech with a smile and everyone starts clapping. She has done a great job and I can tell that charities are something that she is really passionate about. It's admiring.
I look around. All my friends have left. It's Saturday. Everyone has plans. I'm grateful that they all decided to come and were really supportive.
I take out my phone and send them a message on our group chat.
I also text Adam. Thanking him for coming and inviting his friends.
He instantly opens the message and instead of replying, he fucking aired me.

"Gosh, I really needed this." I moan as the masseuse's hand go on my back.
"Me too." Emily sighs then blurts, "Colton asked me to move in with him."
I smile. "Yeah, he said he was going to."
After I came back from the fundraiser, Emily came over to my house. Since it has a spa, I called a home service spa company to come and treat us.
At the fundraiser, Adam told me that my mother came and took Mae with her when I left. That was why he was alone when I see him. I honestly even forgot that they were supposed to come together.
I'm such a bad sister, I know.
"I told him no." Emily mutters.
"What? Why?" I turn to face her.
"I'm scared, Amelia. My parents, I feel like I'm the only thing bringing them together. If I decide to leave the house, they might end up getting a divorce."
Months ago, we found out that Emily's parents were having problems and they even came close to a divorce.
"But Em, you're twenty one years old. You don't need your parents to be together. If they are happier apart, let them be." I tell her.
"But they've been together for twenty three years. Is it possible to fall out of love like that?"
My heart tightens. I don't know.
"Because they are not happy together doesn't mean that they don't love each other. Try talking to them, find out what the real problem is. If the solution is them getting a divorce then it's time."
I watch her eyes get teary. "But can you imagine your parents getting a divorce?"
No, I can't. My dad's world revolves around my mum. He will probably jump into a fire if she asks him to and she feels exactly the same. They may not get an award for parents of the year but they would definitely get couple of the year. One of the things that I always admired growing up is their relationship.
They know how to love and live with each other. If there is one thing that I truly learned from them; it's love. They are happy together, I'm sure of that but I don't share that with Emily.
"It's definitely going to hurt but if that's what's going to make them happy, I won't try and stop them." I answer.
She wipes her fallen tear. "You always put other people's happiness before yours. I have never learned that because my parents always put me first. I have always been the priority."
That is true. Her parents love hear to death. Emily is so easy to love because she's such a good of a person. The perfect daughter, the perfect friend. She is so peaceful.
"I guess it's like that when you're an only child. In my family, sometimes Austin comes first and I have no choice but to be happy for him, sometimes I come first and most of the time it's Mae because she is still young. She needs her mom and dad." I explain and she just sighs.
"It's going to be okay." I assure her.
After our massage, went upstairs to my room and took a shower then went to the sitting room to watch Night School.
Someone knocks on the door even though it's open. I look up and I see Adam who looks sexy as fuck. His hair is wet. He probably just took a shower. He is wearing black pyjama bottoms and a plain black t-shirt that sexily hugs his muscles with white Gucci slippers.
"Hey, I'm going to order food. Do you guys want anything?" He asks.
"Sure, where are you ordering from?"
"My restaurant but we can order something else if you want." He replies.
I frown. I don't know that he has a restaurant here in Bluefall.
"What's the name of your restaurant?"
Emily gasps. "Amelia! You can't seriously be this delusional. Haven't you heard of The Ruby?"
What? He owns The Ruby?
That's the restaurant where my father decided to cut me off.
"I've been there. I just didn't know that he owned it. He never tells me anything." I mutter.
Adam gives me a bored look. "Are you going to tell me what you want?"
"I don't know the menu." I shrug.
"Let's have pizza!" Emily says. "The pepperoni pizza there is awesome."
"I'm good with that."
"Anything else?" Adam asks:
I look at Emily and she shakes her head so I look back at Adam. "No, that's all. Thanks."
"Thank you, Adam." Em says and we go back to watching our movie.
Ten minutes later, Adam comes back. "Amelia, can I talk to you?"
"Sure." I say then stand up and follow him out the door. Since my room is the closest to the sitting room, we decided to go in.
"I just got to of the phone with Fernandez." Adam says.
"Who's that?" I ask sitting on the couch.
