《My Mysterious Billionaire ✓》Chapter 20: Jasmine

Ofcourse she had to be here exactly when I decided to pay Granny a visit.
I faked a smile and said, "I wish I could say it was nice to meet you, Jasmine, but it would be a pure white lie."
She faked amusement. "That's so mean of you, Amy."
I haven't been mean to you bitch. I'll shove Granny's walking stick into your ass and tell you what being mean is. I thought.
"Anyways getting back to this handsome man, how about we go for dinner tonight. Just you and me?" She winked and brushed Alexander's arm.
My blood boiled. I saw Alexander looking explicitly uncomfortable. She lightly grabbed his bicep. "What do you say?" She tried asking seductively. But ofcourse, she sounded like a dying bitch.
Alexander very awkwardly stepped to his left. "I-I am already occupied. Thank you." He said and walked towards me. He looked nervous about my reaction. I smirked at Jasmine.
Looking at my raging eyes, he gulped. It's not for you, baby. I tried convincing him in my thoughts. But ofcourse, how'll he hear my thoughts?
"You heard him. He's occupied tonight." I gritted to Jasmine.
"Oh what's more important than going on a date with a young sexy lady, my love?" She batted her eyelashes at Alexander.
"Cuddling with my wife." Alexander mumbled. Granny chuckled behind us. She got a quite show.
"He'll be busy making babies tonight, with me. Got problems? Shove it up." I said and walked inside, pulling Alexander with me.
"So much for a peaceful vacation." I muttered closing behind the door.
We were currently in one of the guest rooms. I was fuming with anger, pacing around the room. Alexander sat on the bed quietly but kept tracing my walk with his eyes.
"Are you angry because I denied for dinner with your cousin?" He asked. I stopped pacing and looked at him.
"I am sorry but I didn't feel comfortable around her. I don't like anyone touching me, other than you. Sorry if-" He looked cute rambling but I had to cut him off.

"No Xander. I am not angry at you. Whatever you did was right, and thank you for dening her dinner proposal. Otherwise I would have to bury you six feet into the ground." I mumbled the last part under my breathe.
"And you should always make sure you're comfortable at what you're doing. If you ever feel uncomfortable around anybody, walk out. Okay?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Why do you look like someone stole your cat?" He asked.
"Because someone will try her best to steal my cat." I said. He furrowed his eyebrows at my answer.
"Hmm?" He asked.
"Are you tired?" I asked him. He nodded hesitantly.
I noticed him being concious about his actions around me, like he was afraid of disappointing me. He was uncomfortable around people downstairs but didn't complain me once. He was uncomfortable when Uncle Ben greeted him with a hug but didn't withdraw because it might hurt me. My heart ached at how he was compromising to get out of his comfort zone for me.
I took a deep breathe. Jasmine is not worth giving two fucks. And certainly I'll not let my ill mood affect Alexander.
"Xander?" I called his name out. He hummed in reply.
"Can you please stand up?" I asked him. He nodded hesitantly and stood up near the bed. Ever so cautiously, I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Is it okay if I hug you?" I asked him softly. "I'm always more than happy to be in your arms, Mia." He said and snuggled into my hair.
"Why are you being so cautious with your actions today?" I asked him softly. He took a deep breathe. "I-I am scared. I might disappoint you. I don't want you to feel bad if I do something wrong." He said softly.
"I have never spent more than a few seconds with my relatives. I don't have my either grandparents. I don't know how to behave and what to do. I am scared I might make you feel ashamed of me." He said.

"How many times do you want me to repeat that I can never be disappointed of you, my love?" I looked up from his chest.
"I am so proud of you, Xander. I feel lucky to have you in my life. I can never explain in words how much you mean to me. It's okay if you find these things new. We'll try and adapt together. And if you ever feel slightest bit of uncomfortable, I want you to trust me and come to me. Tell me and we'll act according to the situation. No matter what it is. Okay?" I asked him. He nodded.
Getting on my toes, I pecked his cheek. He blushed and smiled down at me.
Hesitantly, I saw him coming down. Delivering a lingering kiss at the corner of my mouth, he whispered "I love you so much, Mia. More than anything, more than anyone."
My heart skipped a beat. I smiled at him and hugged him tighter.
Later that day, we had lunch with Granny Eli. I gave a house and yard tour to Alexander. He was all smiley when he saw small rabbits hoping around. After a lot of pestering, he agreed to hold one of them.
The victory smile he offered when the bunny remained still in his hand, was worth a million dollars.
We spent the late afternoon on the terrace, cuddling up on the swing my grandpa once built for grandma. It was their place to spend quality time.
"I have decided what I want to do when I go back." Alexander said. I was curled up in his arms. My head rested on his chest while his back was supported by the arms of the swing.
"What is it?" I asked him curiously.
"I-I want to go to the college. I'll choose some light subjects. Something that won't require much use of elementary education." He said.
"I want to experience the normal life for once. I want to go to college. Study and have a degree. Make friends and join the crowd. Bunk a few classes like Ethan did, get caught and punished. Everything." He said.
I smiled at him. He's so freaking cute!
"That's a great plan, Xander! What would you like to take as your subjects?" I asked him.
He shrugged. "I don't know. What do you suggest?" He asked my opinion.
"What were favourite subjects in school? Like when you were in your initial years. Or what intrigues you?" I asked him.
"I don't know. I don't remember." He replied, looking embarrassed.
"How about we get you a smart phone and get you engaged with the social media platforms? Scroll and waste your time when we are here. Get to know about what you like and tell me your interests. We'll see if we can find something relatable. How does that sound?" I asked him.
"Sounds good." He said.
Soon grandma called us for dinner. I started mingling with my relatives when I saw Alexander relaxed with Uncle Danny.
I went on teasing my cousins while Granny kept passing savvy remarks.
The barbeque was set and the meat on the sticks were being grilled. I looked up to find what Alexander was doing.
The scene made my insides burn. I saw Alexander sitting on the bench with Jasmine. She was showing something on her phone while Alexander blushed with a smile. He looked rather comfortable around her now.
I swear I'm going to kill them both.
