I woke up this morning, earlier than normal being as I had to be at work around 5, when I'm normally at work around 6:30. I got out of bed and looked at Troian. She always looks so perfect when she sleeps, even with a little bump peeking out from under the blankets. I went into the bathroom to take a shower and then went downstairs to make some breakfast. I tried to be as quiet as possible, trying not to wake Troian up. I ate breakfast, grabbed my badge, and headed out the door. On my way to work, I stopped at McDonalds to get a coffee for me and my partner. When I pulled out of the drive-thru, I wasn't paying attention to on-coming traffic so when I pulled out, a truck hit me on the driver side. At that moment, the only thing I was thinking about was Troian and my unborn son and daughter.

When I woke up, I realized that Keegan wasn't beside me, but a note from him saying he had to leave early for work. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom with morning sickness. My first time having morning sickness in 4 months of being pregnant. I came out of the bathroom and downstairs to the kitchen. Keegan's phone was laying on the counter. He always leaves his phone at home. While my eggs were cooking, my phone started ringing. It was Keegan's partner. "Hello?" "Troian?" "Yes?" "Its about Keegan. He's been in a bad wreck." As soon as I was told this news, I dropped my phone and fell to the ground. The only thing I was thinking was that mine and Shay's babies were gonna grow up without a father. I can't lose the love of my life. I felt my whole world was gonna come crashing down on me. If I lost Keegan, that meant I'd lost my life. Because Keegan is my life.
