"I want you so badly, Haneul." Jimin whispered lowly as he placed butterfly kisses along her jawline, sending shivers down her spine.

"I know."

"You're driving me crazy every single day, and when I saw them looking at you hungrily, I lost my control. I need you, Haneul." From her jawline, he then moved towards her exposed collarbones and continued to leave kisses on her prominent bones.

"Jimin."

"Hmm?" He was too lost in his own world that his reply came out only as a soft hum.

"Look at me, chim." Jimin froze upon hearing the nickname that came out of nowhere, and halting his actions, he gazed sweetly at his beautiful wife who was tearing up.

"Why are you crying? Don't cry." Using his fingers, Jimin wiped her warm tears away. "I'm sorry if I went overboard, I'll stop."

"No, don't stop." Haneul dragged him back to his original position, and using both of her hands, she caressed his fluffy cheeks while taking his ethereal beauty in.

"A-are you sure? You're crying and the last thing I want to do is hurt you." Jimin spoke softly while holding onto her hand that was still on his face.

"I'm crying because I really like you, Jimin."

I think I love you.

"R-really? And that's why you're crying?" He asked as Haneul nodded briefly. Chuckling, he pecked her forehead, then her nose, and lastly her lips before speaking again. "Don't cry, you won't look pretty anymore if you cry."

"I'm just being silly." Haneul giggled as Jimin started to attack her with kisses again.

On that faithful night, they spent the rest of their night moulded together as one, both showing their love and affection towards each other.

Sorry that I have to keep it a secret, Jimin.

It was a normal Sunday morning, when Haneul was called by the Queen all of a sudden. Scrambling out of the bed, Haneul noticed that Jimin was nowhere to be found, but she brushed it off before washing up as fast as she could and went to see the Queen.

"Haneul dear." The Queen greeted her with a warm smile in the Study, and Haneul found it weird that the King was not by her side as well.

"Good morning, Your Highness." Haneul bowed before approaching to where she was seated at, and sat down on the chair opposite hers as told by the Queen herself. "The maid told me that you have requested to see me?"

"Yes, my dear." The Queen smiled again, but her smile slowly turned into a sad one.

"Is there something wrong, Your Highness?" Haneul furrowed her eyebrows and gulped nervously when she nodded while sighing.

The Queen was sighing.

Whatever happened must be serious.

"Haneul-ah, forgive me for saying this to you but, you have to file a divorce with Jimin as soon as possible." The Queen blurted out while holding onto Haneul's hand, and felt guilty when she saw how shocked her daughter-in-law looked right now.

"B-but why?" Haneul questioned.

"The King is sick. Really really sick." Haneul noted how broken the Queen looked right now, and knowing that she had to do her duty, she held onto the older woman's shivering hands. The latter broke into a small smile at Haneul's heartwarming action. "If the King can't make it, you know that Jimin would have to step up and take the throne right?"

Haneul nodded.

"And I'm sorry to break this to you but, Jimin needs to marry another country's princess in order to make sure our country has enough funding source. Ever since the King fell sick, without his proper guidance, the country's economy has inevitably deteriorated and we can't allow that to happen." The Queen explained directly, and as Haneul processed her words, she understood what the Queen was doing.

It was for the sake of the country.

"I know what I should do, Your Highness." Haneul smiled assuringly, and the Queen finally let her tears drop from her eyes, feeling thankful for her daughter-in-law.

Returning back to her room, Haneul wondered where Jimin was again but nevertheless ignored the thought while dashing towards the locked drawer next to her bed. Unlocking it, she took out the still neatly folded divorce paper and signed the contract before passing it to a servant telling him to pass this to the Queen.

After watching him walk away, Haneul finally allowed herself to fall onto the floor, and let her overflowing tears to start streaming down her cheeks as she bawled her hearts out.

It's over. It's really over.

To say that Jimin was shocked to the core when he saw every single piece of belongings that belonged to Haneul was gone would be a total understatement. He had went out in the morning to buy her a bouquet of roses, wanting to surprise her when she wakes up, but his effort was flushed into the drain at the emptiness of the room.

"Haneul-ah?" Jimin called out, his voice trembling. "Stop hiding and come out."

Nothing but the rhythmic sound of the clock ticking replied him.

"Yah Jimin, I've informed the rest to come over-" Seokjin halted his footsteps when he saw Jimin staring at his room with a blank face. "Jimin? Why are you behaving this way?"

"H-hyung." Jimin stammered as he turned his head towards Seokjin who was furrowing his eyebrows. "She's gone."

"What?" The older boy instantly stepped into their room, and he gulped when he noticed that the room lacked it's usual feminine touch.

"She's gone hyung." Jimin was about to cry, and Seokjin quickly pulled him into a hug.

"Shh, there must be a reason for whatever is going on right? Stay strong, Jimin-ah. Let's go and find out the truth."

Jimin nearly went berserk at the news of Haneul divorcing him suddenly. Lately his mind had already been invaded by his father who was suffering from an illness, meaning that he had to handle and take over most of his works.

And now? She left him.

"It's not even a year yet!" Jimin had yelled before crouching down and breaking into a crying fit.

He couldn't imagine not having her by his side when he wakes up everyday from now on; he couldn't imagine not having her to comfort him when he is feeling stressed anymore-

The list could go on.

Heck, he didn't even feel this devastated when Youngji chose her stupid ballet over him.

That was when he realized that he had fallen totally for Haneul, and he wanted to say that out loud for the entire world to hear, to know that he loved her.

Jimin spent the next few days searching for her. Her family members refused to speak to anyone from the palace, including him. Even her best friend, Jisoo didn't know where she went, and it honestly worried her so much that she was about to to go insane if it wasn't for Taehyung to comfort her.

Days turned to weeks.

Weeks turned to months.

Months turned to a year.

It had been a year since the divorce, and throughout these months, Jimin had turned into a cold man who was now working diligently for his father. The King had fortunately recovered from his illness, but they had agreed that Jimin should work with his father side by side.

He started to grow distant with his friends, and only remained close with Taehyung, the only one who would still occssionally check up on him. The latter had mentioned that the group was slowly dispersing as everyone had their own works to do.

Youngji had returned to the country, but just as what she had expected, Jimin refused to meet her. He despised her, as if it wasn't for her, both Jimin and Haneul wouldn't be separated.

"Jimin, honey, you should join us for dinner later." The Queen pleaded as she watched her son flipped through files after files, obviously doing a very good job at distracting himself from a certain girl whom he could never forget.

"No thanks, mother." Jimin rejected politely while pushing his glasses on his nose bridge.

He was beyond mad when he found out that it was his mother who had told Haneul to file a divorce. But who was he kidding? She was still his mother afterall and he couldn't hate her as much as he wanted to.

"You have been eating way too little, Jimin." The Queen sighed. "It has been a year... and you're still unable to forgive me?"

It was Jimin's turn to sigh. "Fine. I'll go."

Of course, just like any other times when his family suddenly decided to eat out, it was always a meeting between with either another country's rulers or a rich family. Jimin's parents hoped that he would move on from Haneul and marry someone else instead, but they failed everytime.

"Are you always this cold?" The Princess of whatever the country was (Jimin didn't bother to pay attention) spoke while leaning towards him.

"Mind your own business." Jimin shot her a glare before excusing himself, and walked out of the private room despite getting hollered to return back.

It was a cold winter night, and after tugging on his beanie, Jimin stuffed his hands into the coat's pockets while exiting the five-star restaurant. Water vapour was formed as he released a puff of air from his mouth, and he scolded himself for not bringing heat packs along.

He debated whether to take a stroll in this chilly weather, and since he wanted to distract his mind from her, he started to walk. His personal bodyguards were following him from the behind, so he knew he was safe to be walking on this deserted street that had only a few passerbys shuffling quickly back home or coming out or into the grocery store located a few shops next to the restaurant he was in.

From his peripheral view, he could make out that a man was carrying a child in his arms while exiting the store. He was about to ignore them and continue to walk when the man's voice made him halt his footsteps.

"Who's the cutest boy in the entire world?"
