Another three months passed by, and Jimin was more than glad that he was now one step closer with his wife. Their relationship had evidently gotten better, and their friends cheered for them when they finally told them the truth about their feelings.
Haneul was happy that Jimin felt the same way as her, but her mind would always drift off towards Youngji, whom Jimin had promised to wait for. Watching him sleep next to her on the bed with his arms wrapping protectively around her, she played with his fluffy hair and found herself smiling when Jimin peeked an eye open to look at her.
Everything will be okay.
"Morning, beautiful." Jimin said huskily with his groggy voice and lifted himself a little to peck Haneul's forehead.
"Morning." Haneul smiled at him, and felt her heart hurt at the obvious adoration swimming in his eyes as he stared at her like how he would every morning.
"Can we ditch classes today?" Jimin questioned while resting his head on Haneul's shoulder, and brought her hand up to continue to play with his hair.
"No, Jimin. I need to attend the lectures or else I will be banned from the exam." Haneul caressed his head gently.
"They won't dare to do that, you're the Crown Prince's wife!" Jimin whined.
Haneul sighed before getting off the bed. "You shouldn't abuse your power that way, mister."
Two more months left till we separate, Jimin. Have you forgotten about that?
Truth to be told, a few days ago, a maid had passed Haneul a letter saying that it was addressed to her from the overseas. She flipped the envelope, and felt her heart drop when she saw where the letter was from.
France.
Jimin was in the shower when Haneul received the letter, and taking advantage of his absence, she tore open the envelope and pulled out the white paper that was folded neatly inside. Although she was already expecting this, but she couldn't help but to feel sad when she unfolded the paper, revealing a divorce paper.
And to make the situation even worse?
Jimin's signature was already signed neatly on his space at the bottom of the paper.
Fighting her urge to cry, Haneul glanced at the drawer that the form was kept safely inside next to her bed. As if noticing her unusual aura, Jimin rushed towards her and engulfed her in a hug, his hand patting the back of her head.

"Are you alright?" Jimin asked worriedly.
"Yes, but I wouldn't be alright if you plan to ditch classes." Haneul chuckled in his embrace, and knowing that she was fine, Jimin released her and placed a hand over his heart.
"You gave me a good scare, Haneul." Jimin flicked her forehead lightly, and started to laugh as he dashed away to avoid her wrath.
Shaking her head, Haneul let it go as she went to prepare herself for the day.
Everything will be okay.
"So, what are you planning to wear for the dinner?" Jisoo whispered at Haneul as quietly as possible, not wanting to distract the lecturer who was teaching in front of the hall.
"What dinner?" Haneul kept quiet for a while before registering the information.
Glancing at her widened eyes, Jisoo shook her head at her best friend for forgetting their faculty's annual dinner.
Clicking her tongue, Jisoo continued to speak. "You're going right?"
"Maybe." Haneul shrugged, not knowing whether she would be attending or not.
The dinner was to be taken placed in two weeks time, at a fancy hotel in the city. Their classmates were eager to attend as it was a totally sponsored event, meaning that they didn't have to pay for the tickets.
Who would turn down free food and drinks right?
"No, you can't go." Jimin replied without glancing at Haneul who was pinching her nose bridge.
They were in the Study, with Jimin reading and signing papers that were distributed by his father so that he would be prepared when it was his turn to be the King. Haneul pouted, as she really wanted to attend the event with Jisoo and have a great time there.
"Why?" Haneul questioned while leaning down with her arms supported on the desk.
Jimin was still refusing to look at her.
"There will be too many guys there and I won't be there. So, no." Jimin stole a glance at Haneul, and felt himself blush as he cleared his throat. "The decision is final, Haneul."
Much to his dismay, Haneul was dressed in a lowcut fitting white tee that enhanced her figure, making Jimin extremely shy to even look at her. He needed to focus on the documents, so he was doing his best to not glance at her.
"But I've promised Jisoo that I'll be going with her!" Haneul whined, and Jimin lifted his head to look at her.
Bad move, Jimin. Bad move.

Fighting the blush that was forming on his cheeks, Jimin gestured her to go towards him, and without much thinking, Haneul obeyed while pouting still. Jimin then surprised Haneul by yanking her to sit on his lap, and a mischievous grin formed on his face.
"Do you want to go to that dinner this badly?" Jimin asked, his arms wrapping around her torso. When she nodded, Jimin spoke again. "Kiss me then. Then I'll decide whether to let you go or not."
"No thanks then. Bye." Haneul teased by standing up from his lap, but eventually failed when Jimin forcefully pulled her back.
He was still grinning as he leaned closer. "But I thought you want to go?"
"I do." Haneul replied while trying her best to suppress her giggle when Jimin's lips hovered over hers, their breaths mingling together.
"Then what are you waiting for?" Jimin smirked, and with an eyeroll, Haneul planted her lips onto his, and he grinned in victory. "Good choice."
After a heated session of making out, they were both out of breath, both panting in unison as Jimin gazed at Haneul's face with adoration. Placing his cheeks on her chest, he pulled her tightly, not wanting to let her go.
"Boy, watch where you're placing your head on." Haneul pushed his head away, but gave up when he started to whine and shot him her weakness - his puppy eyes. Knowing that he had won, Jimin once again rested his cheeks on her chest with a smirk only he knew. "So, am I allowed to go to the dinner now?"
"Yes. But on one condition."
"What?"
"I'm coming with you."
And so that was how the nation's Crown Prince was seen attending the normal event, and the sponsor was extremely glad to have their Prince in the house as well, as this would increase their company's name.
"Your Highness, no offense, but you're seriously the most clingy Prince that I have known of." Jisoo shot Jimin a look as they entered the hall together.
"Yah, say that to your boyfriend as well!" Jimin hissed at her, but threw Taehyung a wink without her seeing him.
Haneul laughed at how pissed off Jisoo looked right now. When Jimin insisted to join, Jisoo was extremely reluctant for him to do so, and that was until Taehyung said the same thing as his best friend.
"I'm coming with you too."
"We can be never get some alone time, don't we?" Jisoo glared at the two boys who were chatting while walking towards somewhere else, probably towards the buffet section.
"Nope. You and I both got the most protective guys ever." Haneul laughed again, but her laughter stopped when something hit her in her mind.
Noticing the change of expression, Jisoo quirked her eyebrows. "Why? What happened?"
"Don't tell anyone about this but," Haneul paused before scanning their surroundings, and after making sure that it was clear of potential spies, "Youngji sent me the divorce letter weeks ago."
"What?!" Jisoo shrieked, but thankfully it wasn't loud enough to attract attention. "Sorry, but why are you only telling this me now? It's a serious problem, Haneul!"
"I know, and you know what? Jimin signed the letter as well." Haneul whispered the second sentence, and Jisoo gasped in horror.
"You mean, the letter was already signed when it was delivered to you?" Haneul nodded at Jisoo's question. "Knowing Youngji, she probably did this to make sure that you're still aware of it."
"I'm sure of it." Haneul scoffed.
"Does Jimin know about this?" Jisoo asked again, concern written all over her face.
"No. He doesn't need to know." Haneul sighed. "I'm not sure whether I'm ready to let him go or not, Soo-ah."
Pulling her into a hug, Jisoo soothed her best friend by rubbing her back. "Everything will be fine, Haneul-ah. Trust me."
"I'm bored." Jimin stifled a yawn as some random guy was performing on the stage.
"Who asked you to tag along?" Haneul smirked.
"It's not my fault that you're attracting attention wherever you go." Jimin whispered at her. "See! That dude over there is totally checking you out!"
The poor boy nearly fainted when Jimin glared daggers at him.
"Jimin." Haneul hollered his name, but he was still busy glaring at whoever was looking at his wife shamelessly. "Jimin, look at me."
"What?!" He snapped, and instantly felt bad at raising his voice at her. "Oh my goodness, I shouldn't have snapped at you, it's my fault, yeah, it's my fault."
"Jimin." Haneul held onto his hand, but he continued to ramble away.
"Haneul-ah, I don't like how they're checking you out. I know you're irresistible but they need to know that you're married to me so they need to back off-"
"Park Jimin."
"-yeah?"
"Let's go home."
"Okay."
