《Engaged to the Bad Boy's Brother✔》FOURTEEN

After learning about the news you went straight to your room. You weren't expecting that.
You had hoped to get married after you graduated, everything was happening all too fast.
"Come in!" You shouted when you heard a knock on the door, when no one came inside you opened the door yourself but there was no one there.
You were about to shut the door when you found a drink sitting in front of your room with a sticky note. You let out a snort when you read it, a smile forming on your face.
'How are you?'
You take the drink and walk to your desk. You write 'I'm fine' and head downstairs. You head downstairs and grab banana milk before heading back up placing it in front of his room and knocking on the door.
You walked back to your room and poked the straw into the drink. You continue doing your assignments and you get a text from Mingyu.
:
What do you prefer? Gold, silver, or rose gold?
What is this about 🤨
Just answer the question
Silver
You waited for another text but there was none. You put your phone down then remembered about the invitation.
:
Are you free next weekend?
Yea why
Wanna come to the wedding?
:
holy shit that next week?
Ikr
Yea sure :)
K, I'll try to get you an invite :)
You went to the kitchen and found Mrs. Jeon sitting at the dining table with papers sprawled around the table. You picked one up and realized that they were wedding preparations.
"Y/N, do you need anything?"
"Uh kind of. I want to invite a friend to the wedding."
"Of course just write the name on the list" She smiles and hands you a clipboard with dozens of names listed on it.

You write Mingyu's name and she frowns when she sees it.
"This is Jungkook's friend?"
"He's also mine, I hope you don't mind though."
"No it's alright. I just didn't know you hung out with him. You just don't seem the type."
A scowl forms on your face but you hide it before she notices.
Type? Sure they're different but they're not bad people or at least once you know them. Not to mention she's also talking about Jungkook.
You headed back to your room and there was another sticky note on your door.
"Is this a thing now? Pass notes like little girls?"
You laughed and decided to just go knock on his door. You put your hands in your pocket and waited. Jungkook opened the door and you pressed your lips into a line.
"You're not doing a good job in 'spacing yourself' like you said you were doing."
"You were the one who showed up to that dinner, you started it. I was doing a great job too." You shrugged and he stepped aside. You walked into his room and it was similar to yours. He had a huge bookshelf, a big window but he had clothes scattered around and a whole gaming set.
"How did I get home that night?" You lean against his desk. "I can't remember anything."
"Mingyu dropped us off." He shrugs. "You got wasted, kept on rambling about shit."
"What... shit?" You froze.
"That you loved me." He smirks. "You never change stalker."
You relaxed, you weren't sure why you even tensed. It wasn't like he didn't know you liked him.
"So you don't remember anything?" He narrows his eyes at you.
"Why did I do something stupid?"

"Just wondering. You didn't even drink much and you can't even remember."
"Well I don't have a high tolerance." You argued.
He nods and takes a sip of the banana milk that you left at his door. You secretly smile and stare at your feet.
"Can we be friends? I mean I'm technically friends with your friends now so we should get along."
"You tried to kiss me. You did kiss me."
You flushed red when he mentioned the kiss. "And I also kissed Jinyoung last night." You say without thinking.
"You kissed him?" Jungkook says angrily.
"Look, the point is I didn't mean to kiss you, I know that it was terrible of me to kiss you when you were going through a hard time. I don't know why I did it but I'm not desperate for a kiss. I like you, I can wait instead of stealing one but it isn't why I came here. Anyways I'm not forcing you to be friends, I thought it would be a good idea since we're related soon, sorry if it's too much to ask."
"Get out." You only gave him a sad smile and did as you were told.
You went back to your own room and laid on your bed. You dug your face into your pillow and groaned.
I am so stupid. Why did I think he'll even say yes
During dinner, Mrs. Jeon was talking about the wedding plans. You tried your best to listen but your mind couldn't be set.
Your head couldn't wrap the idea that you were getting married in a week. Although you liked Jinyoung and you've kissed you still only know him for a month like they have said. That wasn't enough time."Y/N?"
You snapped your head up. "Yes?"
"I asked you which you prefered. Vintage lights or fairy lights. What you choose will decide the wedding theme."
"Oh uh... What do you want?" You looked at Jinyoung.
"I'm not best suited for things like these." He sheepishly laughs
"Um vintage I guess."
"Alright I'll order those in then." Mrs. Jeon smiles and finishes the call that you didn't know she was on.
"We can push the wedding back a little. It doesn't have to be next week." Jinyoung whispers to you but you shake your head.
"What's the difference between getting married next week or later? It's still going to be the same... I'll still be nervous." You say quickly and drink a glass of water. "Plus they said that your grandmother doesn't have much time. I want to fulfil her wish."
"You're really selfless, that's what I like about you." He smiles and kisses your forehead.
You tensed.
"Sorry... I thought that after-"
"No, just shocked that's all." You smiled. "Wasn't expecting that."
The rest of the dinner Mrs. Jeon was emailing all her contacts trying to prepare things for the wedding. Apparently, she had already had the venue booked and all, it was shocking since she got the most popular venue in Seoul. You thought it would've been booked out and impossible to get in such a short time.
You went to your room after watching tv in the living room. On your door you saw another note.
You looked down the hall where Jungkook's room was and read it.
"Sure."
You walked into your room with a smile forgetting everything that happened. Even a simple word could get you so happy.

My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!
