《Engaged to the Bad Boy's Brother✔》THIRTEEN

During breakfast, Mrs. Jeon was rambling on about the wedding, how they should hurry with the wedding decorations and all.
You were honestly confused about why she was so worried about decorations when the wedding wasn't until the end of the school year but Mrs. Jeon has always been the type who likes to be prepared.
"So, I was thinking that since you don't like any of the current dresses we go to the wedding boutique today to pick one out."
"Sure."
"I've also invited your mother. It's been a while since you've seen her hasn't it?"
"It has, I also want her opinion since she's my mother after all."
"Perfect. Then we can have lunch after going to the boutique."
You looked at Jinyoung who was working on his laptop while eating. "Do you want to come with us?"
"A man shouldn't see the brides wedding gown until the wedding." Mrs. Jeon points out.
"Mom we aren't superstitious." Jinyoung chuckles.
"No means no."
"It's fine anyways, I got work to do." He turns to you. "I have to come up with marketing and work on our new locations."
"Y/N get dressed then we can go to get your mother." You nodded and finished your breakfast
At the wedding boutique, you pick out some dresses out of the latest collection and try them on. You had a few yes and lots of no's but none really drew you in.
When you went through all the dresses, you had to go pick some more. While picking dresses off the rack, you found a mannequin, her dress was stunning.
"Can I try this one?"
"Of course." The attendant smiled and asked her coworker who was passing by to get that dress. You walked back into the changing room and they helped you fit into the first dress and did a quick styling of your hair.

When you walked back out you gave them a nervous smile.
"I think that the neckline is too low." Your mother says.
"I agree." Mrs. Jeon nods.
You sigh and go back to change. You went through all the dresses until finally it was the one from the mannequin.
You put on the off-the-shoulder illusion neckline trumpet dress that hugged just enough curves before it flared out leaving a long train behind.
Your mother gasps when she sees you walk out and you see the tears in her eyes. You smile and run your hands down your curves.
"I like it. I think this is the one." You smile.
"You look so pretty." Your mother hugs you and you hug her back. "You look like a princess."
"I don't think we need to look anymore. This is clearly the one." Mrs. Jeon smiles. "I can't believe my son has such a beautiful bride."
"But clearly I think you'll look better with your hair up." Your mother says touching your curled hair.
"Yes, it would be a waste if we don't show the illusion back." Mrs. Jeon agrees.
"I'll be wearing a veil... It'll cover it anyways."
"Nope. You'll be putting your hair up." Your mother argues. "Your hair is just like your fathers, untamable. Who knows what might happen that will ruin your hair."
"Fine." You huffed and went back to change while your mother went to purchase the dress.
After the boutique, you went to a 5-star restaurant no matter how many times you protested and wanted to go to a smaller restaurant.
You sat there eating your pasta while your mother was gossiping with Mrs. Jeon. You scrolled through your phone and saw that Mingyu had tagged you in a post.
You smiled when it was a picture of your face covered in cupcake frosting at the club.

Your face fell when you saw a few comments that talked shit about you and others that were surprised by you hanging out with them.
You smiled again when you saw Eunwoo and the others commenting 'Happy Birthday', you were even more surprised when Jungkook liked Jaehyun's comment wishing you a happy birthday and that you should hang out with them again.
"Y/N what are you smiling about?" Your mother glances at you and you quickly hide your phone.
"Nothing."
"Your father and I are sorry we couldn't give you your present yesterday." Your mother pushes a ring into your hand. "This is a family heirloom. I got it from my mother when I was married and now it's yours."
"Mom." You frowned.
"No. Don't say anything like you don't deserve it. It's yours."
"Thank you." You smiled and hugged her.
"How has Jinyoung been treating you? Are you happy?"
"Um yea, the Jeon's have been treating me nicely."
"Yes but how has Jinyoung been treating you?" Your mother eyes you, you looked at Mrs. Jeon but she didn't seem a slightest bit worried.
"Jinyoung has been treating me fine. We went to the movies yesterday."
"Good, I just want you to be happy."
"Well I am happy."
"Have you told her yet?" Your mother turns to Mrs. Jeon and your eyebrows crease together when you look between the two.
"Told me what?"
"It's nothing big but I think it'll be best to tell you and Jinyoung at the same time." Mrs. Jeon tries to calm you down.
"No but I want to know now."
"Honey, I agree with Taeyeon. This should be told when you're together"
"Well you're just starting to freak me out. Does this have to do with the wedding?"
"Yes."
"Then shouldn't I have the right to know?"
"And you do but not right now."
"When we get home." Mrs. Jeon says.
"Fine." You crossed your arms and huff.
The two mothers look at you with sympathy and you head home.
Mrs. Jeon calls down Jinyoung and Jungkook, and you sit on the couch waiting for the two of them to appear. Mrs. Jeon looks anxious when the three of you gather in the living room.
"Mom whats wrong?" Jinyoung looked at you but you shrugged.
"Jinyoung, Jungkook. Your grandmother fainted a few days ago and is currently in the hospital." Mrs. Jeon starts off. The two just nod their head not understanding where this conversation is going. "The doctors suspect that she doesn't have much time to live."
"How much time?" Jinyoung frowns and you place your hand on his shoulder.
"Not enough." Mrs. Jeon lets out a breath. "Granny Jeon wants to see her grandchild get married however..."
"You want to push the date up..." Your words came out as a whisper and she nods her head.
"Yes, that's why we've been rushing the decorations and wanting you to pick out your wedding dress." She says apologetically. "We know you wanted to wait until you graduated however this wedding means a lot to her."
"When is it?" Jinyoung speaks up after a moment of silence.
"We're hoping the fastest it can be is next week."
"Next week?!" You shouted.
"We know that it's too soon and it's only been almost a month since the engagement but you two both agree with this right? For granny?"
You and Jinyoung look at each other, before he nods. "Yea, I'm fine with it."
Mrs. Jeon looks at you expectantly and your eyes shift towards Jungkook who was leaning against the wall his eyebrows furrowed.
"Let's do it." You sigh.
