"Morning." You yawned and walked into the dining room. Mr. and Mrs. Jeon greets you as always and you take a seat.
"Y/N, Jinyoung left early due to urgency at the company so he can't drive you to school." Mrs. Jeon informs you.
"Oh, that's fine. I can take the bus."
"But a bus takes too long." Mrs. Jeon frowns. "How about you ask Jungkook. I'm sure he can take you."
"I don't think that's a good idea." You had your mind set on completely distancing yourself from Jungkook for a while although you knew it might not be possible.
"What's not a good idea?" You look up from your plate, Jungkook took a seat and grabbed some cereal.
"Nothing." Mrs. Jeon answers. "Jungkook how about you take Y/N to school today?"
"No." Jungkook rejects immediately.
"You two have the same morning class together, take her." Mr. Jeon says and Jungkook rolls his eyes at his father.
"You can't tell me what to do. It's my car."
"I was the one who paid for that car." Mr. Jeon argues.
"Well I never told you to buy me it did I?"
"When will you ever get out of this phase? It's been going on for years."
"It's not a phase." Jungkook glares. "I'll live my life the way I want and this is it. I don't need you or anybody, you're the one who forces me to live in this fucking house and buys me shit thinking that you could make up for it."
"I'm sorry about what happened to Ina."
"Don't say her name. You don't have the right." Jungkook gets up from his seat, toppling it over.
Jungkook grabs his keys from the little shelf near the door and leaves. You look at Mr. Jeon who looked anguished. Who was Ina?
"Minseok I thought we agreed not to bring it up anymore." Mrs.Jeon lectures her husband.
"Who's Ina?" You asked and they turned to you.
"We're very sorry you had to see that Y/N but Ina is- was Jungkook's mother." Mr. Jeon sighs.

So that was her name.
You never knew anything except that she's deceased. "She passed in an accident when Jungkook was in high school. Since then Jungkook has been living with me and resents me."
"Oh." You say not knowing what to do. You didn't want to ask more about his mother, you knew that Jungkook wouldn't want you to know and Mrs. Jeon sat right in front of you so it would make things awkward.
"Um, I should get going if I want to take the bus." You smile slowly getting up. The couple sadly smiles at you and you leave.
When you walk into your lecture, you notice that Jungkook wasn't there. Mingyu waves at you and you wave back giving him a small smile.
"How was yesterday?" You asked when he gets up and walks towards you.
"Fun." He shrugs.
"The girls?"
"Ditched them, they were getting boring. It's always the same old thing."
"Then why even talk to them?" You roll your eyes.
Mingyu wiggles his eyebrows. "Why? Jealous?"
"You know who I like. Where is he anyways?"
"Don't know. He just texted me that he's not gonna show. Something happened?"
"You know what happened to Jungkook's mother?" You questioned and he nods. "That."
"Ooh... Then he's probably visiting her then."
"But she's dead." You frowned.
"Her grave dumbass." Mingyu knocks on your head making you pout.
"Hey stalker- I mean Y/N." Yugyeom smirks at you and you look at Mingyu who just shrugs at you. "Wanna join us for basketball later?"
"No, I'm good." You shake your head. "I have something to do right now actually."
Mingyu gives you a look then a lightbulb appears over his head. "I'll send you the address."
"Thank you." You say and turn to leave.
A few minutes later you get a text from Mingyu and you wait for the bus to come. When you get off at your stop, you tighten your grip on your bag and look around the cemetery. You found a figure slouched behind a gravestone.

You were hesitant to approach him, you knew you should distance yourself but you couldn't leave him when he was facing so much pain.
You walk towards him, the sound of dried leaves crunching when you step on them. You tapped on his shoulder and he pushed your hand away.
"Get lost."
"You'll feel better after you talk with someone." You say and he looks up, his eyes stone cold.
"Did he tell you where I was?" You knew he meant his father and shook your head. "I'm not telling you anything."
"Alright then." You say and take a seat next to him. You hug your knees and stare at the sky not saying another word. Jungkook just stares at you like you were crazy but ends up doing the same.
You sat like that for a while, you don't know how long though. Finally, he shares his thoughts. "She died in an accident."
You glance at him and he looks down at his hands. "She's that type of woman, the type who doesn't text and drive. The one who doesn't get into fights. The type who works hard to get by the week. But also the type who forgives people too easily no matter what they do."
You started to wonder if she was really his mother, they were the complete opposites unless Jungkook got his dad's genes but that sounds impossible as well.
"I know what you're thinking, shut up about it." He glares at you making you smile a bit but you bite your lip hard to prevent yourself. "They had a short fling behind that woman's back but he didn't want to do anything with my mother and left her when she was pregnant. But suddenly she gets a text from that sperm donor asking to meet me 16 years later. Because of that text she got into a car accident and died."
You thought that Mr. Jeon was a nice man but after hearing what he had done to Jungkook's mother and Mrs. Jeon you weren't sure.
"He doesn't even feel remorse for what happened to her when it's all his fault." Jungkook grits his teeth. "He thinks he can just make up for it by spending his money on me"
"He's just trying to get you to forgive him."
Jungkook laughs at your words. "Then he can stop trying because I'll never forgive him."
Although Jungkook was laughing hysterically now you could see the sadness in his eyes. You couldn't help yourself from wrapping your arms around him. He tenses but does not push you away.
"I won't say 'I'm sorry' because I know you don't want me to. Instead I'll say, make his pockets hurt. It may not bring back your mother but if he's trying to spend money on you to forgive him then you might as well take advantage of it."
You see the corner of his lips lift and you smile. "You're not that bad stalker."
"Yea, can we get past the stalker thing now? I mean even Yugyeom called me by my name."
"He did?" Jungkook looked pissed. Jungkook takes a deep breath then sighs. "Fine. Y/N."
Your smile widened, your heart pounding when he called you by your name. You weren't sure of what got into you but you kissed him, just a peck before he pushes you away.
"What are you doing?!"
Your eyes widen when you realize what you've done. What did you just do? Jungkook stood up and he was back to his cold demeanor.
"This was what you planned? Getting me to trust you and then take advantage of me?" He spat. "I tell you my past and you try to kiss me. I've never met someone as desperate as you."
You couldn't speak. No words formed in your mouth because you knew that if you spoke it'll only make things worse.
"You're worse than a stalker, you're a psycho. I hope you get married fast so you'll stay out of my way."

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.
