Uranus, the seventh planet from the sun, and mostly poke fun at because of its name. Poor Uranus. Anyway, In 2017, a discovery has again made Uranus comical due to its clouds' stinky odor. Its cloud is composed of which makes the stinky odor of rotten eggs, sewers, and Earth's buttholes, Volcanoes. Previously, scientists did not yet directly observed and instead inferred that Uranus' atmosphere contained ammonia and hydrogen sulfide due to the lack of a certain wavelength. It is like they were guessing something of its appearance based on a casted shadow. But when they used the 26-feet-long telescope at Gemini Observatory in Hawaii, astronomers were able to get a clearer picture of the planet's real atmospheric composition, which proves their conjecture correct. They spotted hydrogen sulfide.

But the gas found in Uranus does not only make scientists giggle but can unlock secrets about the formation of the solar system. It helps them piece together how the solar system formed and arranged itself some 4.6 billion years ago.
