《CAPTIVATED》Chapter Six

I had missed classes for a couple days and skipping tutoring. I was avoiding Idris at all costs and trying to spend more time with Henry which was hard. He worked all the time and studied hard. Which meant I was mostly home on my own.
Today however, I had to head to class. It was my exam day and I definitely couldn't miss. Camilla's seat was empty, but I didn't think much of it. I knew she wouldn't miss an exam date and we still had ten minutes till class began.
As I took out my pencil, I heard the door open and looked up. Camilla waltzed in with a radiant smile on her face. She looked glowing. Happy and...
"You're in love aren't you?" I smiled as she sat down.
Camilla couldn't help the big smile that plastered on her face. As if the hicky's on her neck weren't proof enough. "No!" She denied it, but her laughter told me otherwise.
"Things going good?" I quirked a brow.
Camilla sighed dreamily. "Too good. Ben is a blessing sent from heaven... and he has a nice ass and a big-"
"Camilla!" I practically screamed, I did not want to hear that.
"Whaat, we're all grown ups." She shrugged her shoulders. Camilla could really give a crap less what anyone else thought.
I shook my head, laughing to myself.
"I need a favor from you?" Camilla suddenly asked. I looked up to find her face stern. I think this was the only time I had seen her so serious. But her last favor didn't end so well for me.
"If it's another double date uh-uh." I shook my head.
Camilla laughed. "It's not." She rolled her eyes at me. " I need you to go see Idris."
My heart raced. Had something happened? "Why? Is he ok?"
"No Alix, he's not okay. He's been moodier than usual and as much as he hates to admit it, I know it's because of you. The only time I see him in a good mood is when you're around. So please, for the sake of my education go see him. So he can return to being the patient tutor I need him to be." She begged with her big eyes.
I groaned, feeling my stomach drop. He had to be moody at something else. I couldn't be the reason. "Camilla I can't."

"Why?" She frowned.
Was she really upset?
"Because it's complicated. Idris will come around sooner or later. Just be patient with him."
Camilla groaned, mumbling under her breath. "Fine." She took out her pencil.

I finished my exam and walked out. Camilla, along with a big portion of the class had finished a while ago. Not studying with Camilla and Idris was starting to affect me. I know I could've done better on that exam.
As I walked out the double doors and off the steps I took in a big breath. Our second exam was over. I could go back to skipping class. Although because I was avoiding Idris, I would have to try and go to class.
For today, I just focused on getting home. I marched down the empty sidewalk towards the parking lot, because it was midterms, I had to park extra far thanks to all the students who had to attend class.
My eyes roamed to the buildings on my sides. I truly enjoyed the peace of my college campus at night. It was why I mostly chose to take night courses. Less people. Less hectic. Less panic.
I was so focused on the night that I didn't notice the man approaching behind me. I only felt my arms being grabbed and the next second I was pushed behind a wall into a secluded area. My mouth was shut with a man's large hand. I couldn't scream or move. He was big and too strong for me to take on.
My heart sped up and I could feel my body shutting down.
The man pressed his weight on me. With one hand he brought out a shiny knife from his pocket, "scream and I'll kill you." He grunted.
I nodded, feeling salty tears hit my face.
He smiled beneath his hood. His hand clutched my cheeks together. "I'm gonna fuck that pretty litt-"
Blood splattered on my face as the man was hit forcefully off of me. I was frozen. Beyond terrified when I turned to find Idris heaving with anger. His teeth bared in a feral snarl like a beast. His green irises were abysmally dark.
"Idris..." I backed away. "Your face."
Idris backed away. His hands ran through his hair as he took deep breaths. When his eyes met mine again there was no trace of the beast I had just seen, but I knew it was there now. Hiding behind this false facade.

"Alixandria—" he reached for me, but I shuffled away.
"W-what the hell are you?"
He looked pained, that I had moved away from him. "Alixandria I would never hurt you..."
I shook my head. This was wrong. Idris was dangerous. I had to stay away from him. I had to get away. I turned to run but I smacked into Idris's chest. His hands steadied me as I fumbled.
"How did you?" How had he moved so fast? That was impossible... at least for a human. "Let me go Idris!" I pushed.
"No."
"Please Idris!" I cried.
"Just hear me out Alix." He managed to hold my chin and make direct eye contact with me. I was immediately drawn to his eyes. Beautiful light green, his pupils dilated as he whispered. "Relax Alixandria, I won't hurt you."
Why was I suddenly feeling so calm? I knew I should fear Idris but I couldn't. It was almost impossible now.
"Idris," I breathed, "what did you do to me?" I asked, knowing he was completely the reason I felt calm. I heard a groan behind me and I turned to find the man that had attacked me try to get up.
Idris left my side and stalked towards the man on the ground. The man coughed loudly, looking up at Idris with fear in his eyes. I was sure Idris would kill him and yet I didn't have the voice to stop him. I was frozen to my spot, watching two very different kind of monsters interact.
Idris picked up the man and looked him deep in the eyes. And like me, it seemed the man had fallen into a trance.
"I want you to turn yourself in to the police and I want you to admit to them every fucked up thing you've done." Idris demanded.
I was stunned. In complete awe as the man nodded his head and like a zombie walked out.
There was something definitely wrong about Idris. When he turned to stare at me, I wanted to run but I couldn't. Perhaps he had compelled me too or perhaps I really knew he wouldn't hurt me. I waited until he was beside me.
"What are you Idris? Y-you had fangs and your eyes... they were so dark." I replayed it in my head. Even the way he moved was too fast.
Idris looked hesitant. He moved cautiously closer to me. Looking at me with those blazing green eyes. He leaned forward and I backed flat into the concrete wall. My face to his chest. Idris was so much taller than me and he carried with him such a force that I always felt caught within him. I looked up past his bulky neck, prominent Adams Apple, and sharp jaw to his pink plump lips. His long dark lashes shadowed his green eyes slightly. I was acutely aware of how close his body was to me and the way it affected me.
I had spent so many days away from Idris, that being this close to him now, made me feel as though my skin were alive and painfully reaching to be closer to him.
Idris clenched his fists beside me. His eyes closing for a moment as he inhaled deeply. When he opened his eyes next, they were lusting and agonized.
We were so close that my harsh breaths touched his abdomen and it sent sparks all over my body, so beautiful and arousing that I closed my eyes as a moan left my mouth. Instantly I felt Idris's cool fingers on my lips and when I opened my eyes, we were close. So close that if I tilted my head up our lips would touch. My body was on overdrive. Breathing hard. Feeling so hot I wanted to remove my cardigan. Idris gripped my waist and held me against him tightly. His mesmerizing green eyes watched as I moaned from his touch alone and then slid to my lips. Watching them with need. Idris wanted to kiss me and I didn't have the will to stop him.
For nights, since that time in his car, I had dreamt about what it would've been like if he kissed me.
When our eyes met again, he took my permission and slowly closed the gap between us. Stopping just as our foreheads touched.
"Idris—" I sighed impatiently...
"I'm your soulmate Alixandria. Your soulmate." He sealed my lips with a fiery hot kiss that lifted me off the ground and up into his arms.
