~With Kai~

Today was our day off thanks to Hunter allowing us to do so, we decided to stay home, hang out, put on a movie on Netflix and put a frozen pizza in the oven because we can.

Plus, I learned I don't need to have a rematch with Gargano, thanks to Hunter letting me know about Regal's decision. I was happy with it, because at least how I earned the right to be the number one contender.

With Kaori, I know that she's gonna go rogue at any moment when Shayna tries to do something that hits home again. For example, what Shayna meant by "not as convincing as being a role model for little girls" is that Kaori did some dirty photography while in Stardom, same with Masami, but I never looked at my girlfriend or sister's bodies because I wanted to respect their privacy.

Whenever I saw Masami's bare behind, I immediately look away because I considered her a sister I never had until a couple months ago. I do want to take our relationship to the next level, but I don't know if Masami would want to at the moment. So, I'm gonna wait until she's ready.

For right now, Masami and I just snuggled up to each other and started watching some anime on Netflix, not "One Piece", and I mean no disrespect to my mentor, but this anime is just too long, like it should've ended years ago. I'll only watch the episode where Minoru made a cameo in, but that's about it.

The anime that I liked to watch is comedy/drama and the one that has a mix of the two is Shokugeki No Soma or "Food Wars". I like this anime because not only is it giving me inspiration to cook, it's also giving me inspiration for my character. The one character in the anime is a girl named Erina Nakiri. Now you might be thinking, "Kai, why would you be inspired by a female character?"

Well, Erina Nakiri is the "antagonist" in the anime because she believes that everyone is inferior to her and no one can stack up to her. Erina is self-gratifying girl that I took bits and pieces of while I was a heel back in 2015. This character was one of the inspirations behind my heel run in New Japan so, ta-da, there's my magician's secret!

The only thing I don't do while as a heel is have a partner like Hisako, Erina's assistant in "Food Wars". She gets treated like dirt and was always the yesman no matter how ridiculous a job was. I didn't want that with my character because I thought it would look weak, so I left that out and for good reason, but with me turning heel down the road while in NXT, Masami might be perfect as the partner, except the part where I treat her like crap.

This might be seen as controversial to some people but Masami as my tag partner and being my cornerman would work. Hey, Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth did it, Andrade and Zelina Vega did it, why not us?

Not to mention that this it's so simple: Masami and I are a real life couple. Bring some realism into the story, but from what I heard, the writers on the creative team have no idea what wrestling is and they think exposing the real life relationship would be good for business when it's not.

My idea: reference the relationship, but never expose their personal life. That's the couple's business and they would want their privacy, which people need to respect more than anything.

Sometime in the future, while I'm not wrestling, I'd like to be on the team and hash out some ideas, hoping to get some of them approved because I want to show that I can be more than a wrestler.

Anyway, as we watched "Food Wars", Masami snuggled up and laid her head on my chest, her hand with it and watch the anime with me.

This was just so adorable that I had to take a selfie with my girlfriend's little head, but she noticed.

カイ？ あなたは何をしていますか？ (Kai? What are you doing?)

何？ 私は私の美しい少女の寫真を撮ることを許されませんか？ (What? Am I not allowed to take a picture of my beautiful girl?)

We pecked lips as she wrapped her arm against my abdomen as we kept watching TV.

そのような休みのための楽しい時間。 私たちがこれらをもっと手に入れることを望みます。 (Such a good time for a day off. I wish we would get more of these.)

She smiled as we kissed, but we didn't want to have a makeout session because we just got this couch.

She kissed me again as I took another selfie with her, and she smiled as I did too.

After some time, the pizza was done and we both had a slice. It was a five cheese pizza, and while it wasn't bad, it still filled us up when we were hungry.

Since Christmas is around the corner, I think I might get something for both Masami and Kaori.

For Masami, I'm gonna do a pandora bracelet, with the timeline on how we met and how the friendship turned into a relationship.

For Kaori, I just need to think about what she would want. Probably an antique telescope from an old naval ship.

Good thing there are some antique shops in the area so I might be able to find one before anyone does.
