~With Kai~

Well, I wasn't surprised about Shayna and company screwing my sister out of the NXT Women's Championship. Shayna managed to beat my sister by submission and my sister tapped.

Masami tried everything to make Kaori not tap, but the pain was so severe she ended up tapping.

When Kaori got back to the hotel, she was so upset that she didn't want to spend time with anyone, not even Masami or me. I couldn't blame her though. She worked so hard to become a champion in NXT and the so called "Queen of Spades" had to take the title away from her.

Although it was a bad time for my sister, it was November and the best part is that although it's taking place in Los Angeles, I even have an idea for my outfit and what I'm gonna be bringing to the ring.

Not just that, Kaori has another chance to get her title back at the next Takeover after WarGames. That made me happy as I made sure that Kaori also makes the challenge to Shayna: a Street Fight, if her team wins the match.

I learned that the technical skills and everything that I'm capable of isn't needed. All I'm gonna be doing is just brawling with weapons not tied to the ground like tables and stuff like that, so I have it all planned out.

Soon after the women's and men's WarGames matches being made official and WWE Evolution, Kaori, Masami, and I decided to take the trip to LA, where NXT Takeover: WarGames II was taking place. It was around the corner so why not get a head start?

When we landed, we went straight towards the hotel and we had to nap, but in separate rooms. Masami and I roomed together while Kaori is in a separate room. I tried to convince my sister to room with us, but she was positive she wanted Masami and I to spend time together.

Well, I couldn't protest.

It was a great time too because there was one thing I like to do before a big PPV like Survivor Series and WarGames II: going on a hiking trail.

The reason I go on them is simple: it's to clear my head and mentally prepare myself before the show. I've done it lots of times and it works so well whenever I have a regular match or a title match a couple days before. It just helps me focus on what's to come in the long run.

After resting because of the jet lag, Masami and I decided to dress in some clothes that are really appropriate for walking on the trail.

I basically wore jeans, a "One Piece" shirt my mentor gave me for Christmas last year, and a jacket since it was getting cold.

When I was done getting dressed, I saw Masami being as cute as ever!

I just can't take how adorable she is!

準備ができて、カイ？ (Ready, Kai?)

あなたがいるときはいつでも。 (Whenever you are.)

We rode in a cab towards the trail. The first thing we saw as we rode up was the Hollywood sign, okay? It's been my dream to see it in person and it's finally happening. I was like a kid in a candy shop, I was so excited.

As we arrived, Masami and I were in awe as we started walking up the trail. We held hands too as we didn't care who knew about our relationship. If we run into fans who recognize us, I think it would've been worth it after hiding it for some time.

It was such a sight. Masami and I were just loving the view up here.

We could see the city from right here, it was just so cool!

While on the trail, I also couldn't help but feel entranced by Masami's beauty. I couldn't believe that I'm the boyfriend of one of the best wrestlers in the world, in the form of Io Shirai, or as my best friend before we got together, Masami Odate.

美しい、そうではありませんか？ (Beautiful, isn't it?)

本當にそうです。 (Really is.)

しかし、あなたはこれより美しいものを知っていますか？ (But you know what's more beautiful than this?)

何？ (What?)

Masami just giggled and we kissed as we kept walking. I mean, I had to say that while we walked on the trail.

やってくる、カイ。 あなたが知っています。 (Come on, Kai. You know you are.)

Then Masami decided to poke my cheek as I had to swat it away! Luckily it was only us on this trail so no Karens or anything can try to ruin our alone time.

As always, she faked herself getting hurt when I swatted her hand away in a playful manner.

カイ、あなたは私を傷つけます。 (Kai, you hurt me.)

And then she started "crying", when she really isn't.

申し訳ありませんが、マサミ。 気分が良くなるようにしてほしいですか？ (I'm sorry, Masami. Want me to make it feel better?)

She looked up and said...

分かった！(Gotcha!)

We both laughed as this was just a fantastic walk on this trail, but I had an idea.

She laughed as she took my phone and started recording me walking up the trail.

It was getting really dark so we decided to walk back. While we did, I thought I saw something in the corner of my eye.

I looked over and I saw this blonde short haired woman in period clothing. She looked like she was from the 1930s or something.

She was staring at me for a considerable amount of time until she was walking towards the long grass. When she walked into it, she was gone.

Did I just see a ghost? If I did, I'm keeping it to myself so people wouldn't think I'm crazy.

When we got back to the hotel, Masami and I decided to go on a date. I decided to wait downstairs for her to change, which I thought was smart.

After a while, Masami sent me a text as she was out of her winter clothes, and was dressed in this...

She looked so gorgeous! I thought I had hearts in my eyes!

When she came downstairs, we left for our date, which was a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or crowded, but seeing my girlfriend dressed so beautifully made the night even better than before.

And me breaking up with her because of that? That's not happening anytime soon.

At our date, we just enjoyed ourselves while we had our meal and seeing her smile just makes my night. I really love her so much.

I felt sad for Masami and I had to promise her. I can't actually promise anything because this is a match where there are no rules and no disqualifications. I have to tell her in complete honesty.

We kissed as we finished up our meal and went back to the hotel to get ready for the show two days later.
