I stepped in my room and saw Bryan still in bed staring at the ceiling. As i entered he looked at me and smiled.

"Where were you? I was worried."

"I was starving so just went to the kitchen and Almus was with me the whole time."

"He was worried for you. The guilt of not being with you during the war was eating him up, also because he couldn't hurt Joe himself for killing his parents."

"I know, but it wasn't his fault."

"Yeah. Um..what's that?"

I looked in my hands, i almost forgot i brought him breakfast.

"I thought you could have breakfast and tea in bed."

He smiled getting up as i approached him.

"Shouldn't I be doing that for you? I remember few hours back you were the one sleeping on this bed." he teased. I rolled my eyes and gave him a peck.

"I am getting use to this. Me serving you bed tea, isn't that what wives do with their husbands?" i winked.

"Well, i could think of many other things that wife can do to her husband."

I looked at him wide eyed and slapped him on his chest, he roared in laughter clutching me tighter.

It felt like eternity to make love to him after so much we have gone through.

After about an hour, i showered again with him ofcourse and we decided to go to Grandpa and know about the pending answers.

A small meeting had been called by Grandpa who was fine now, given the healing power of a wolf. he wanted us all there, when Alano and Fiona would tell us the truth.

I was nervous knowing that i would have answers but something wouldn't want me to hear all of that. For me it was over with Joe. Bryan insisted that i should go which i agreed then.

As we entered Grandpa's office, i saw everyone was there, they turned to look at me as i entered and immediately i was surrounded by hugs and kisses by my family. Arina was the first to launch herself on me into a big bone crushing hug, backed by Demon. I was happy to see everyone was fine and back to their self.

I looked at Grandpa's seat as he was standing near it. I approached him and hugged knowing if he was okay. He seemed relieved once he saw me and gave me a proud look.

"Your parents would have been so proud of you." he said and kissed my hands. I nodded turning around giving my thanks to everyone. I went towards Bryan who was now with Almus and stood there as Bryan kept his hand on my shoulder and Almus took my hand in his on the other side. I smiled both of them, they were my life. One my only family and other my mate.

Observing the room once again i noticed two chairs in the middle of the room, and we all were facing it, The door opened and some guards came in dragging Alano and Fiona with them. They looked depressed and hung their head low. I noticed Almus griiping my hand tight as he gasped. Fiona snapped her head up and looked at me, regret and sadness in her eyes, i know she was sorry for what she did, i could see that, but she then turned to Almus and gasped as their eyes locked. I noticed Bryan pulling me towards him, noticing Almus's grip on my hand. I looked at him confused then again at Almus and Fiona, i felt as if cold water had flashed on me as i absorbed the situation. They are Mates!

I immediately looked at Almus and hushed his internal groaning. This was going to be to hard for him. Ohh god..why him? He has suffered a lot already. I shook his hand making him look at me as i saw his eyes changing, i whispered him to control and he closed his eyes nodding.

He pulled me to him so that i can calm him, i noticed Bryan didn't say anything and i was thankful for that. He understood what was happening. I moved my hand on Almus's back calming him. This whole thing didn't get unnoticed by Grandpa and other members though. Their eyes were on us the whole time. I nodded at Grandpa answering his unspoken question and looked at Fiona who bowed her head shaking, probably regretting the situation. I truely felt bad for her.

Alano and Fiona sat on the chairs in the middle of room. I could see Fiona's tear as she was looking down on her lap probably too afraid to look at anyone.

"Alano, i didn't expect you to see in this matter, you have made a huge offence but i would want to hear your side and everything that you know about all that has happened." Grandpa took his seat behind the huge chair of his desk and said.

"Master, it is my fault. My daughter here is innocent. Please don't banish her." he spoke making Fiona to look at him, he looked at her and continued,

"Few years back when i was a rogue, Joe came to me, he threatened me of death or prison if i would not abide his orders. He told me to kill Charlie and Eva. It was a huge risk, i disagreed but he was so adamant, he killed my wife my mate and threatened to the same with my kids. I had no choice but to support him. We made plan so that Charlie would be able to come to us on his own, and it worked. He and his wife came to us for an attack but it was all a trap we made for them. Though i was on the front of it, the mastermind was Joe. He said he wanted revenge but wouldn't tell me why. We were successful, but it was a tough fight as the Alpha of Grey Moon pack Lawrence was supporting them. We killed all of them. Including Lawrence who was struggling to save them till the end."

I looked as Bryan jumped forward and grabbed Alano's neck furiously.

"YOU KILLED MY FATHER!! YOU FUCKING KILLED HIM!!"

Bryan held him high making him choke. I could hear Fiona sobbing by now. I was just shocked to see the situation. I couldn't stop him, it was obvious he was going to kill him.

"Bryan! Let him go." Grandpa said in authority. Bryan looked at him and then at me before dropping him on floor furiously. Guards went to him and made him sit on the chair again. Fiona wasn't even looking at him now.

I looked at Bryan as i approached him and hugged. He bent his face in my neck holding me.

"Fuck i am going to kill him once this is over." he said in angry voice.

"Calm down, we will see." i murmered making him stand at our previous place. Though he didn't let go of me this time but i ensured to keep my hand on Almus's back while being with him.

"You do understand you have broken the council law Alano."

Alano nodded.

" It is not that easy to fight with a wolf and hunter that too one of the best. How did you managed to kill them all?" Grandpa asked furrowing his eyebrows.

That made us all curious.

"I agree master, it wasn't easy at all. We had sedatives with us. Once we got chance, we used the sedatives to reduce the powers of Charlie and Eva. Lawrence was tough, but he was outnumbered by our arm and ofcourse the power of Joe held him lower. Besides, it was too risky as he had already seen Joe there who was hidden. Joe attacked him making him unconsious and asked me to kill him. I had no choice but to do that, my family was on stake." he said regretting.

"If that's what Joe wanted why were you with him now?" He asked.

"Joe didn't want just that. After we killed, Charlie and Eva. He wouldn't leave us alone. He asked me to follow their daughter and kill her at the first chance we get. I appointed some of my pack members to kill her but they were unsuccessful saying they couldn't track her scent. Looking at the failed attempts Joe stopped us. I was relieved that he would finally leave us but no, he was having something else planned. He added more rogues to my pack visiting me often. He use to stay for months with us. I thinked of moving but i had my family on stake. I didn't wanted to lose my son Blake and Fiona."

"After few years, he started adding huge number of rogues to my pack. I was confused why he needed such an army. When he told me that we had to get Charlie and Eva's daughter Elena and kill her. Fiona jumped in to support him. I had kept all of this a secret to them. Though i suspect Blake knew because he agreed to help in our plan to come here and meet you. Joe encouraged Fiona's temper once he knew about Fiona's hatred towards Elena. Thus, Fiona agreed to participate in the war. I had heard Elena was an hunter but i couldn't disagree with him and we planned the threats and then the attack. Had it not been Elena, using her extra ordinary powers, he had planned a long torturing death for her. He was a maniac. I am happy that he is dead. That fucker deserved it!" he said gritting his teeth.

We all were silent. This was too much. I wouldn't know if i should blame him or not. He did this to protect his family. But he has broken the council's rules. I wonder what Grandpa is thinking.

"As much as i want you to be free, i cannot. You have broken the rules and killed my son and daughter alongwith Bryan's father. But, you did this to save your family, which is just left to one person now. Blake is no more and there is just your daughter Fiona who had been with you and Joe in all of this."

"Master, sorry for interupting but i want to apologize. I want to apologize to all of you here. Specially to Bryan and Elena, i have caused so much trouble to both of you. I didn't believe in mating at first..after what happened with mom..i always blamed moon goddess, why would she pair anyone if she cant make them live forever.." she stopped and looked at Almus then at me, "that's the reason i wanted Bryan, he was a bad boy then, i have known him since long. He was the best person and i thought we could be together. Had it not been Elena, i would never knew that real Mates do exist. I was so furious then to know that she was the hurdle between me and Bryan. I never expected her to be a hunter, not even in my dreams. I am sorry Elena, i am very sorry. Joe knew everything about this, he manipulated me against you making me think ill of you. I didn't knew about anything that dad said earlier, i was supporting him for dad and just to get you. Master, i am ready to accept whatever punishment you order."

I looked at her, she was a nice person had it not been Joe to brain wash her. I sighed shaking my head. I could feel Almus watching her. They don't deserve this start. This all is so exhausting.

There was silence again.

"I need to talk to other council members."

They all nodded and went to an attached room. The silence was eerie. I could feel Almus controlling himself, mumbling curse words here and there. I looked at Bryan who seems to be furious but looked in control of his actions. Knowing that his father's murderer is still here. I don't know why but i didn't feel that envy towards Alano. Maybe because Joe was behind all this and i have killed him. We waited and waited, finally Grandpa and other council members came out of the room and took their places. Tension was heavy in the room. Everyone looked at them.

"After discussing all the prospects with the council members, we have decided that though unintentionally Alano had broken council rules and has stepped against the council. He could have told us before but he kept supporting Joe to save his family. Council is announcing, ten years of imprisonment to him after which he will be joining his pack. I take the title of Alpha from him and as his Beta Blake was killed as well, his remaining pack would be merged into Grey Moon pack. I am sure Damon and Bryan would be accomodative for them." he looked at Bryan who nodded accepting his decision.

"Good, for Fiona we have decided to reduce her punishment on the basis that she was manipulated but still was one of the participants in the war. So, we have decided for her ill behaviour, she would be grounded in the pack house for a year. She would not be allowed to go beyond this territory until the period is over. She will be staying with the maids, where she will be doing all the work they do on regular basis. No one is allowed to talk to her without my permission and i expect her to keep herself from any sort of communication with any of the council members or members in the house, except for maids. That's the best i can do for you Fiona." he said. Fiona nodded.

"But Arnold i..." for the first time Almus spoke but stopped when Grandpa gave him a long look.

"There will not be any changes now." he ordered.

Almus cursed under his breath while stomping out of the room slamming the door. Fiona flinched but bowed her head, tears pouring through her eyes.

I sighed as everyone looked at Grandpa.

"Dismis!" he said getting out of the room. I watched as Alano was held by the guards while Fiona followed Aunt Diana who probably would show her the duties. This is going to be hell for Almus. What could be the worst feeling than this, his mate would be staying in this house yet he wouldn't be able to talk to her, it is going to be a torture for him.

"Elena, are you okay?" Bryanbasked rubbing my arms.

"I am fine. I'm just worried about Almus." I replied holding him.

"I know he will be fine. Let's go now we have a wedding to plan." He said winking before holding out his hand for me.

I nodded and smiled holding his hand while we made our way out of the room.
