Elena's POV:

It took me a minute to take in his warmth but I had to face the reality. My life is like a rollercoaster for the past two days. I need some clearity and I have to make this all clear with Bryan here.

"Mates you say? Can you explain that to me?" I asked him now keeping some distance and resuming my position on the corner of his bed. But he seems to be unable to keep his hands off me. He sat down beside me and tucked a lose strand of hair behind my ear.

"It is what it is Elena. We were destined to be together...forever. We are a couple made in heaven even before we came to this world..we are bound in love by the moon goddess." he said.

How is this possible? I can't understand...how should i believe him..the kiss...it surely was something magical..it sent sparks through my body..he has something which is tempting me...i am not able to understand this..

"Sweetheart. I know you must be confused."

"You need to know everything about me... about us..and you need to trust me...I'm not going to let anyone harm you." he said.

I nodded trusting each and every word that came out of his mouth.

"Elena...we are not normal humans.." he said looking in my eyes.

"Cut the crap Bryan, hat exactly are you saying?" I asked no longer in the mood for light talk.

"I am a...Warewolf."

I looked at him surprised...this means what I saw earlier at the gate and what I felt was true. That animal was linked to Bryan.

"So..earlier..the animal which I came across at the gate..."

"It was me." he completed my sentence.

I was speechless. This is definitely a lot to take in. 

"Say something please...What are you thinking about?" Bryan asked.

"Just..just.. linking everything. But how is this possible?" I asked him.

What am I in a fantasy novel or something?

"I'm surprised you are still here. Any other human would have been out of this place by now probably screaming and to save their own life." he said smiling to himself.

"That's maybe because.. I trust you." I replied truthfully.

He looked at me and leaned to kiss my forehead.

"Thank you." he said.

What is he doing to me? Everytime he touches me..it just feels magical.

"Elena...we all are warevolves here. This house is the authority of our wolf pack. My brother Demon is the Alpha and I am the Beta. We both are the most powerful wolfs and this pack is our responsibility. There are several packs around the world but ours is the strongest. We exist because there are other creatures too like vampires, but they have left this area long back. Still, we have opponent packs and rougues to handle and keep our packs and humans safe."

"Who are rougues?" I asked trying to understand.

"Rougues are wolfs that do not belong to any pack. They are free, they think they have no rules, and thus they are strongest, so they try to attack and take some of the wolfs to form their own packs of rougues."

"Okyy..." this all is actually getting over my head but I am trying to understand some of it.

"So how do you change?...I mean into a wolf?"

"Our body changes as we give the control of our body to our wolfs, which are inside us."

"Hmm..so...umm...I mean if you don't mind..can you show me?" I asked unsure if i want to see. He cocked his head to me.

"Okay..but only if you don't get scared.." he said worried.

"Is it that bad?" I asked concerned. He smirked at me shaking his head and removed his t-shirt and started removing his jeans belt.

"What the hell are you doing?" Iasked looking at his muscled body and feeling shy.

"My clothes will get ripped off if I transform just like this."

"Jeez..fine fine.." I said closing my eyes.

"You don't need to do that Elena. You will be used to see me naked all the time." he said giving a wink.

I blushed and opened my eyes. I saw him his back was towards me. Ohh my....he looked so strong and..and..handsome ...

I gasped as I saw heat erupting throughout his body and in a click, he was gone and there stood that animal...the wolf..with brown fur..the same which I came across..he turned slowly and looked at me..those brown eyes..I stood up from my place and moved towards him. He didn't move at all. I touched his nose and brushed his fur through my fingertips. He nuzzled me and started licking my face. I giggled enjoying the tickling sensation.

"You are so beautiful.." I whispered in his ears. He let out a groan and changed into his human form instantly and grabbed me. This was so quick that I didn't even know when we were kissing.

"Bryan..please.." I said in between.

"I cant resist you Elena..You make me crazy." he replied.

He does the same to me...but..is this right?..I was getting married yesterday and today I am kissing a guy whom I have known just for a day rather few hours... I broke the kiss and turned in other direction...

"This is wrong...I can't.. I was getting married yesterday and today i am....shit... This is just so confusing.."

"You can't stay away from me Elena...you are my Mate."

I looked at him confused. God i forgot he was naked...

I kept my hands on eyes...

"Would you please wear some clothes...atleast your jeans now..and then explain to me this whole crazy mate thing that i am experiencing!!"

He laughed and i heard some ruffled noises.

He kept his hands on my shoulders and I opened my eyes. As expected he was wearing just his jeans.

Jeez..How can a girl concentrate when a handsome god is in front of her?

"Elena..we are mates. In warevolves we are destined to be someones Mate..Mate is a person who is our partner for life. Some get imprinted early while some get later. Our world revolves around just one person after we found our mate. They are just inseperable..We are destroyed if our mate rejects us. That pain is horrible." he said closing his eyes.

"But..how do you know its me?"

"I can smell it..your aroma, it's just for me..no one else could..I can feel the pain you feel, it's a pull..i can't stay away from you...it was the energy..the aroma that let me come towards you and the most important thing is we have a birth mark."

"Birthmark?"

"Yes..a birthmark..do you have any birthmark on your body?"

"Birthmark...i guess i have one, it's here somewhere.." i lifted my tshirt on my waist and showed a small half moon sign on the back of my waist. He looked at it and touched the sign and immediately a spark went through my body. I jumped back and looked at him confused.

"Look here.." he said pointing towards the same part of his body. There was a half moon too.

I gasped..this is unbelievable..

"Now you know."

"This is..just..what am i suppose to say? It's a lot to take in." I said thinking about it.

"Elena...our mating bond won't complete untill i..um..bite you...i mean mark you." he said.

"WHAT? ?" i looked at him shocked. Bite me!! The hell i am going to allow that.

"No way..." i said shaking my head.

"It's not that bad...but i won't force you..i will wait for you as long as you want...I love you Elena..you are my everything." he said.

My heart felt like it melted...it felt like i was dancing. I had heard this from Luke many times when he said he loved me but never felt like this...

Luke!!..my heart felt so sorry for him..i felt sad as i remembered him..

"Elena..I am sorry..i know this is a step too far, I hardly know you but that's the truth.." he said shrugging.

"Bryan..this all is way too much for me right now. Please give me some time.." i said.

"Ofcourse I will sweetheart..and if you need anything..I am always here.."

"Bryan..can I go home? It's almost evening now."

"Elena but...I don't want you to."

"Bryan you can't just expect me to stay here for gods sake! I have a life. I have my house. I have friends. I have work . I just can't stay here like this."

He sighed.

"Okay.. then I am coming with you"
