All of the Cullens along with Seth and Jacob went looking for witnesses.

Carlisle and Esme made it to Egypt to get more witnesses there.

"Amun please." Carlisle begged, following Amun into a big room with a fountain.

"I cannot help you Carlisle." Amun said, trying to walk away.

"I wouldn't ask if it weren't urgent." Carlisle reasoned, following him with Esme by his side.

"You must go." Amun ordered and was going to leave until a wall of water rose in front of the entrance, blocking Amun from going through. They looked over to find 2 more vampires, one who was controlling the water.

"I'd like to hear about it. I never get to meet any of Amun's friends. He likes to keep me hidden." Benjamin greeted, placing the water back to the fountain.

"I can't imagine why. My adopted daughter has the same gift as you. I'm Carlisle." Carlisle held his hand out.

"Benjamin." They shook hands.

"Avalei, just in time." Edward said as I walked to them. Jacob looked at me and smiled. He was on the side, watching the others.

I smiled and watched Benjamin make a dirt tornado, holding Ness' hand and lifting the tornado into the air. We all looked at them amazed.

"Nice trick. I can do that too." I smirked and walked towards Benjamin and the newer witnesses.

"Avalei, this is Tia, Amun, Kebi, and Benjamin from Egypt." Edward introduced them. I went up to shake all their hands, "This is my unique sister Carlisle told you about. Avalei, Benjamin can influence the elements too." Edward informed. Benjamin was the last to shake my hand.

"Its nice to finally meet you. Carlisle's told us about you being a copier. Though your main powers are like mine and telekinesis?" Benjamin greeted.

"Yes, and dream manipulations, but I haven't worked with that one for a while. I know, its a lot but that's what being a copier is I guess. Its nice to meet someone who understands this power." I said while I twirled a fire ball in the air then evaporated it.

"And here I get super self-control." Bella mumbled. Then we heard animal calls from afar. And soon enough, 2 very native looking vampires arrived. Jacob immediately came over to me and pulled me close to him.

"Who are they?" Bella asked. Once one of them looked at me, I gained her power. Illusion. That's going to be fun with.

"Senna and Zafrina. From the Amazon." Edward announced.

A patriot Carlisle first met on the battlefield at Yorktown would become our most unlikely ally. Emmett and Rosalie brought him back, Garrett.

Though he looked a little snide, reading his mind, he wasn't that bad of a guy.

Carlisle convinced his Irish friends to make the journey to Forks. Although we were grateful for their help, their thirst for human blood complicated the situation.

"Lotta red eyes around here." Jacob said holding me close as we stood next to Bella, looking around the room at all the vampires here.

"They agreed not to hunt in the area." Bella informed us.

"But they'll feed somewhere." Jacob stated.

As more vampires set foot in our territory, more Quileutes turned. When Sam and Jacob had made up their truce between each other they also agreed to help us. Embry and Quil even joined our pack, making our pack a total of 6, me being counted as one, and Sam's a total of 5.

More Quileutes turned though, their nature compelling them to join the packs. 3 more were added in both packs, all young around 13-16 years old. Jacob had to train the ones in our pack to control their anger and to get used to being around vampires, and me.

We were outside as Zafrina used her power on Edward. I was next to Jacob, as always, and Bella was confused as to what Edward was seeing.

"I don't see anything." Bella stated.

"Edward, you didn't tell me your wife is a shield." We all looked over at Bella. Shield? So that's why some of our powers don't work on her.

"What's a shield?" Bella questioned.

"The ones I've met are so different. It's a defensive talent. It's why we couldn't read your mind, even before. It's why Aro couldn't. You have a very powerful gift." Edward explained.

"I have Eleazar's gift and I haven't noticed it before. Maybe because we were used to not hearing any of your thoughts Bella. And no wonder I gained a blocker gift earlier in my newborn days." I told her.

"Oh yeah, she's a shield, all right. Shoulda put her on her ass. Same thing happened when you guys stopped me from shocking Edward more when you came to our house." Kate said, using her electricity shock on Bella but it wasn't working on her.

"Or your voltage has been exaggerated." Garrett teased.

"Maybe it only works on the weak." Kate said holding her hand up to him. Garrett was going to touch her hand.

"Garrett, I wouldn't." Edward warned but he didn't listen. Just ended up on his knees, grunting in pain.

"You are an amazing woman." Garrett complimented Kate. We smiled at them.

Jacob and I were with the new wolves. Helping them with patrols and teaching them the ropes.

"Now, you guys can do some serious damage. Which is why you'll need to control your phasing. If your mom pisses you off, you don't want to tear her head off." Jacob remarked.

All of a sudden, we heard people running fast towards us. They smelt unfamiliar and I'm pretty sure we got the witnesses we knew.

"Whoever's coming wasn't invited." I stated and looked over to Jacob. They phased and we followed the uninvited guests.

Jacob caught up to them first, snapping at them and I used my telekinesis to push them but they went up a few trees and landed on a higher ledge. I petted Jake to calm him. The rest of the family joined us.

"Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home." Dad greeted. They were foreign and human drinkers like the others. Though they had a more creepier vibe than the others.

"What are they doing here?" Edward asked. I saw into Dad's mind that these 2 uninvited vamps were from the Romanian coven, the coven that the Volturi nearly destroyed.

"We heard the Volturi were moving against you. But that you would not stand alone." Vladimir stated.

"We didn't do what we were accused of." Dad informed them.

"We do not care what you did, Carlisle." Vladimir remarked.

"We have been waiting a millennium for the ltalian scum to be challenged." Stefan stated.

"It's not our plan to fight the Volturi." Dad told them.

"Shame. Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed. They enjoy a good fight." They talked to each other taunted.

"Aro's witnesses?" I asked.

Why would Aro gather witnesses too when their coven is already big enough? He's taunting us.

They both looked at me and smirked. Jacob growled at them.

"Aww. So you're the special hybrid we've heard about. You're a pretty looking thing. Still hoping they'll listen?" Vladimir provoked.

I glared at them. Of course they'll listen...At least, I hope they do.

We all were in the living room discussing the matters. Jacob made sure to keep me close, Seth was upstairs with Renesmee watching her. I felt a bit uneasy but stood my ground standing in a room filled with many vampires.

Although they've gotten to know me, Jacob's right. There are a lot of red eyes around here. But they came to help...so that's good.

"When Aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazar stated.

"So he's done this before?" Bella asked.

"It happens so rarely, I never realized it was a pattern." Eleazar answered.

"Apparently he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant. " Dad added.

"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard." Eleazar said, glancing at me then back at the others.

"This is all about Avalei. He has no one like her. Alice as well." Edward chimed in. I looked up at everyone, worried.

I am the best thing Aro wants to be in his guard. Which makes me an absolute target and prize. Aside from the other gifted ones and the issue with Renesmee, that's what Aro wants the most. Me.

"Which is why she left." Bella input about Alice.

Alice and Jasper. I missed them so much. It would be nice to have Alice here because what's been bothering me the most is that I can't see the future as much. It's all just a blur or nothing at all. Maybe Alice being away from me, weakens it. Or maybe this is telling me that I don't want to know what the future has in store for us.

"Why does Aro need witnesses?" Emmett questioned, snapping me out of my little train of thought.

"To spread the word that justice has been served. After he slaughters an entire coven." Alistair joined into the conversation. He's the one that creeps me out the most next to Vladimir and Stefan.

"And once he does, he'll only leave what he wants." Alistair continued, looking right at me. I slumped down, avoiding his stare. I felt Jacob growl a bit at him.

"Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving." Amun said as he began to walk out but Edward called out to them.

"And where will you go? What makes you think they'll be satisfied with Alice or Avalei? Of course Avalei possesses each gift she encounters but what's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift? Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment, it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will. For the sake of my family. But also for yours. And for the way you want to live." Edward announced. I looked up at him. He's right. The Volturi has made us all afraid over the years and now is the time we fight back and make them afraid.

"The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires." Jacob started, standing tall with me at his side. Of course Jacob would be the first one.

"We will fight." Tanya said as the rest of her coven stood up.

"This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule." Garrett commented, stepping up.

"We'll join you." Benjamin said, stepping up with Tia.

"No." Amun stopped him but Benjamin continued, "I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please." Benjamin then looked at me, smiling and nodded his head. I nodded at him too.

"We will stand with you." Senna said for her and Zafrina.

"So will we." The Irish coven stood up as well as the rest of them.

"That didn't take much." Vladimir mumbled.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Edward finished.

"We'll see." Alistair said to dad before he walked out.

Everyone showed courage. Though we knew that Aro's army was moving against us. Soon we would face the dark gifts of Jane. And worse, the paralyzing vapor of her brother Alec who could rob you of sight, sound and touch. But hopefully when they arrive, I'll be able to copy their gifts and gain more power.

I'll do whatever it takes.

I won't let my family, friends and boyfriend die for me.
