Now this is the part where we actually party.

Upbeat music blasted throughout the whole backyard, people were dancing and mingling. Mike and Eric danced weirdly, Eleazar and Carmen danced elegantly, Rosalie and Emmett dance normally, Alice and Jasper did their amazing dancing skills, entertaining the crowd around them and the newly wedded couple slow danced.

I was standing on the side just watching everyone until Seth came up to me.

"Hey Avalei, want to dance with me?" He asked shyly blushing and scratching the back of his neck. I smiled at him as he held out a hand, I nodded and he guided me towards the dance floor. The music suddenly turned to a slow song. Once we were on the dance floor, Seth stood there a little awkwardly and I knew why. He was shy to place his hands on my waist.

I rolled my eyes playfully and pulled him closer, placing my hands around his neck, "Seth, if you're going to dance with me, at least do it right. Its like you've never slow danced with a girl before." I said joking, but he pulled away, looking a little sad. Oh.

"Oh Seth I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." He looked at the ground, I stepped up to him again and lifted his chin, "Hey, I'd be honored to be a part of your first slow dance." He then smiled and placed his hands on my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. We started taking a few steps front and back.

"There, see? Nothing hard." I reassured him. He continued to smile.

"Avalei, where did you go? I mean you were gone for a month. We worried enough about Jacob going missing but not you too. Embry and I almost broke rules by crossing over to your land to ask if any of your family heard from you." Seth said seriously.

I looked up at him, empathetic, "I'm sorry I made you all worry but I needed time to myself. I was actually in Rio this whole time. It was pretty nice."

"Did you phase during your time there? How come we couldn't hear you?" He asked.

"I did phase, a lot actually. You couldn't hear me because I blocked everyone of any connection to me. I just wanted time for myself. I weren't at all disconnected from you guys though, I've had visions of my family and you all from time to time during the month I was away. It was like an occasional check up. I'm sorry again." I explained.

"Well I'm happy you're back. The pack's gonna be thrilled to see you again. Quil even imprinted." He exclaimed. Oh that word. I haven't heard that in awhile.

"Oh really? On who?" I asked him, that made his face go a little skeptical.

"Uhm its Emily's niece, Claire." He stated. That made my eyes bulge a bit.

"Claire? As in little Claire? Isn't she like 3?" Seth nodded, I calmed down a bit, "I mean, he's going to have to wait a long time to actually be with her."

"Oh yeah, he's in brother/protector mode for now until she's at the right age. I know, it's a little weird but hey, that's what imprinting does to you right?" Seth joked, smiling, I too let out a smile.

We continued to dance until I saw Edward and Bella walk off the dance floor and headed towards the other side of the house. I then got a warm feeling in me that I haven't felt in awhile.

Though I ignored that and continued to dance with Seth. I mean, the only time I get that feeling is when...no it can't be.

As we continued to dance, an occasional small talk about the pack and what I did in Rio until the song ended and another one began. We danced again, this time, I laid my head on Seth's shoulder. I saw in the distance that Edward came back, but with no Bella. I questioned that again.

It was halfway through the song when I felt Seth tense up, I pulled back a bit, "Seth, what's wrong?"

"Come with me." He said and took my hand and guided me towards the other side of the house, though taking a different route into the woods.

"Seth, where are you taking me?" I questioned but he didn't say anything, just continued to drag me along with him.

Once we were away from the party scene, I heard yelling in the distance. I also heard a voice I haven't heard for a while now.

Once we got to the commotion, I froze. Seth looked back at me, concerned, a tear fell down my face.

He wore a white button up and black dress pants and even black fancy shoes. His hair was a bit longer, due to him not being in human form for awhile and he even had a light beard and mustache. He looks tired out but still the same Jacob.

He's back. What am I supposed to do? Does he even want to see me? I've hurt him. I've missed him so much though...

"Jacob, calm down alright." I heard Edward say but it was a little fuzzy. My thoughts were just on him.

"Are you out of your mind? You'll kill her!" Jacob yelled at Edward, he probably hasn't noticed me yet with his anger controlling him. Actually, no one noticed me yet, besides Seth and because I was in the shadows.

Seth then let my hand go and went over to Jake to hold him back, "Jake, walk away Jake!" He said but Jacob threw him off, making Seth fall to the floor.

That's when Embry and Quil came in to hold Jacob back but he too pushed them away. That's when Sam joined the commotion.

"Enough Jacob." Sam ordered.

"Stay out of this Sam." Jacob warned.

"You're not gonna start something that we'll have to finish." Sam stated. What's this even about?

"She'll die." Jacob issued.

"She's not our concern anymore." Sam finished. Jacob looked back over to Bella, he was about to run away but I called out to him.

"Jacob!" Was all I had to say to make him stop in his tracks and look at me. All of a sudden he calmed down a bit, looking almost stunned.

I too felt stunned but I stepped out of the shadows and into the light, a few feet next to Bella and Edward. Another tear left my eyes. Everyone looked at me, the pack almost surprised to see me too.

"Avalei..." His eyes longing and soft never leaving me.

I smiled but a few tears continued to fall. I was about to run up to hug him but Edward stopped me by holding his arm out, blocking me.

I looked up to Edward, confused, "Avalei, no. You shouldn't fall back for him. What happened to having your time? Look just moments ago he tried to hurt Bella, he's dangerous" Edward remarked, I looked at him not only confused but a little angry.

"What are you talking about? He's my imprint" I stated.

"He's not good for you." Edward added. That made me even angrier and I could tell Jacob was getting mad again too. Bella just stood there confused.

"He's my soulmate Edward. Just like you have Bella. Why are you acting like this? Just earlier today you wanted me to be happy and now you're stopping me from seeing him? You have no right to do that." I defended back, holding back my tears.

"Yes I do. I'm your brother." Edward stated.

I scoffed, "Yeah, you're my brother. Not my dad. You may be older but you don't have the right to prevent me from seeing my imprint. I haven't seen Jacob in over a month. What? Do you want me to wait like half a year to get back with him like you did with Bella?" I insulted. That struck a nerve in all of us. I calmed down a bit, "I'm happy for you and Bella. Why can't you do the same for me? Don't I deserve happiness? " A few tears fell down my face again.

"Avalei, you do deserve happiness. They're both just ticked off. They were fighting about me and the honeymoon. Jacob thinks Edward will hurt me because we're going to have a real honeymoon experience." Bella explained.

I then saw Jacob get mad again and ran away, bumping into Sam's shoulder on his way out. The others following him. Seth was the last one until Sam ordered him to go. He looked back at us with sad eyes and disappeared into the woods too.

I looked back at the newly weds, "See what you've done?" I asked angrily. But calmed myself when I saw Bella flinch, "I'm sorry Bella. This is your wedding day. You should be happy..But like what you did to get Edward back a few months ago, I need to go and get back my true love." Bella nodded, Edward just looked off to the side.

I ignored him, "I hope you have a great time on your honeymoon. I'll see you when you get back." I said, Bella nodded, and I then ran off to where Jacob and the rest went off to.

I phased of course cause its easier now to communicate with them and I have much heightened senses when I'm a wolf. I followed their scent which led back to the pack house. But since I didn't have clothes, I couldn't phase back. I mean I would, but I'd only be in my underwear and bra. I heard ruffles near the perimeter of the house.

I heard someone say in my head. I then deciphered the voice as Embry's. I needed to get used to people in my head again.

I then heard another voice. Although I knew he wasn't near me, I knew that that was my imprint. Its nice to hear his voice again.

-Jake

I let out a little wolf laugh.

-Embry

Then Embry's thoughts weren't there anymore.

I saw Emily come out of the house, holding some folded clothes. I phased back, approaching her.

"Hey Em." I greeted, she immediately hugged me.

"Avalei, don't you dare run away again. We've missed you too much." She said then pulled away, seeing that I was in my undergarments.

"Oh right, here's some clothes." She handed the folded clothes to me and I quickly changed into the shorts and tank top.

"Oh you've grown! And I love the hair!" Emily complimented.

"I'm sorry I worried you guys. But I'm back, and I'm for sure not leaving anytime soon. Just as long as someone actually wants me to stay." I said referring to Jacob.

"Oh he'll want you. You guys are meant for each other. Just need to get things settled and started again. And we're for sure not going to let you leave again even if you tried." Emily patted my back and smiled before going back into the house.

I sighed to myself then ran off towards the direction of the river. Once I got there, I saw him staring into the water, his back faced towards me. I walked slowly closer to him.

"Jake." I called out which made him turn around.

We both stared at each other for a few seconds until he smiled a bit, raising his arms up, "Come here." I also smiled and ran to him, using my super speed of course which made me embrace him forcibly.

He easily caught me in his arms, holding me close. I rested my head between the crook of his neck, taking in a big breath of air, inhaling his scent. I missed his hugs. I missed his scent. I missed him....so much.

"I've missed you...so much." I said still in his embrace.

"I've missed you too. You don't know how much I've missed you." He said back, holding me tighter.

We pulled away a bit, though he still held me, I looked up at him, the same loving brown eyes I always loved looking at. "I think I do. I don't know how but I think I've heard your thoughts a few times when I was in Rio. But then again, I could've just been delusional." I let out a giggle.

He smiled, "Really? Because I swear I heard your thoughts a few times too. I thought I was going crazy because of how long we've been a part." I smiled slightly at him, admiring him but then my smile faded.

I looked down, "Jake, I'm so sorry. If I knew it'd hurt so much to be away from you, I wouldn't have told you to give me time. I was just-" I started and noticed a few tears fell down my face. I've been crying a lot today.

"Hey, shhh, stop." He cooed, wiping my tears with his thumbs, he held my face up to look at him, "Don't blame yourself. Yeah, as much as it hurt the both of us to be apart, we did need that time away from each other. It gave me time to think things through, figure things out in life. It finally made me realize what I really am meant for in life...and that's you." He stared down at me, his eyes filled with love, "Avalei, when I heard you ran away too, I was devastated. I was thinking about coming back here just to track down your scent and find you. But I also knew this was your way of having your time alone. Heck, I even did the same thing." He laughed a bit, making me smile slightly.

"Avalei, you are my life now. I should've realized it the second we imprinted. I just had the old me still inside controlling me whenever Bella was around. But that time we were apart, I forgot all about her. I think the reason why I was so attached to Bella is that she was my connection to you. I mean, look at the facts. It was because of her that we met. Sam didn't want you to meet me but Bella made our fate collide. I realized that it wasn't because I loved Bella, it was because of her, I found you." He confessed. I looked at him, stunned again. Speechless at his words.

Maybe he was right. It really has been Bella's fault all along. I mean not in a bad way but she really did lead Jake and I together. Why didn't I realize that before? I'm gonna thank her when she comes back.

"Avalei, every day that we were apart, I always reminded myself of our promises. I always repeated the words you said the day you said we needed time. It actually happened. What you said came true. It was never a goodbye, we somehow both came back to Forks on the same day and found each other again." He finished.

I finally snapped out of my speechless trance, "Jake, I'm glad we found each other again. But will you be willing to forgive me and take me back?" I asked him.

He looked at me confused, "Take you back? We weren't ever broken up. Just apart. You have always been my girl." He cooed, smiling down at me.

I blushed, "And you've always been my wolf." I giggled and he leaned down to kiss me.

A kiss that was long overdue. I'm glad it didn't take long for us to rekindle again. I'm glad to have my Jacob back.

The kiss wasn't too long, we pulled away after awhile. Jacob looked me over, I too looked down at myself, getting a little insecure.

"I see you've sort of changed. The muscle, the hair, and even the tattoo. It looks good on you." Jacob flirted.

I pushed him playfully, blushing.

Jacob looked down to our hands, specifically looking at the hand that held the charm bracelet the pack got me.

"The pack did go a little special for your gift didn't they?" He questioned, amused.

"Yeah, I told them they didn't have to get me anything but Seth, Emily and Embry wouldn't suffice for it. They each got me a charm. You can probably tell who gave me the vampire teeth." I looked up at him, we both said Paul at the same time, and laughed.

"Well, I felt a little left out so when I was gone...I made this for you to add." Jacob said while taking something out of his pocket and holding it up for me.

It was a wooden carved russet colored wolf.

I looked at it in amazement. It was so detailed.

"Since your bracelet charms represent things in your life, why not add your favorite wolf to it? Plus I carved it myself" He smirked putting it on me.

I smiled at him and hugged him.
