《Avalei Cullen (A Twilight Saga Fanfic)》Ch 31: Over It

Edward knelt besides Victoria's lifeless body as he took in what just happened. He then looked over to us and went over to Bella and tore a piece of her cover up to tie around her cut.
I gave them their space by stepping away from them a little, Seth soon came back, shaking off the snow and glassy remnants off his muzzle.
He then growled.
"Something's wrong." Bella stated.
I suddenly got a vision.
"Alice need us to go...now." Edward issued. He looked at me and I nodded.
I conjured a big flame out of my hand and threw it at Victoria's remains. It instantly burned.
"How long?" Edward asked as we approached them.
"A few minutes. Maybe 10?" Alice informed.
"The pack needs to leave. Avalei, you too. The Volturi won't honor our truce with the werewolves and we don't want to risk you being exposed to them." Dad stated.
My family must've noticed because they all turned to me, "Avalei, what's wrong?" Rosalie was soon by my side, I didn't stop shaking.
"She's phasing! Rosalie get away from her!" Dad called out, they all back away. That only made me angrier.
"I HATE ALL OF THIS! CANT WE GET A BREAK! WE JUST FINISHED A BATTLE AND NOW WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE FREAKING LEECH ROYALTY WANNABEES?! AND NOT TO MENTION THAT MY IMPRINT KISSED ANOTHER GIRL! AGAIN! IM SO OVER EVERYTHING! UGHHHH!" I screamed. I saw the fire from the newborn pit get bigger. I don't know what came over me but as soon as I released that last scream, my body erupted. Before I knew it, I looked down and my feet were no longer there.
They were now paws.
Pure white paws.
I calmed down a bit as I turned around, trying to examine myself. Just then, my Dad approached me.
"Avalei, are you alright?" He said.
I looked at him, my body instantly calming down.
I mind talked to Jasper. He nodded.
I said to my family via telepathy.
"It's fine. We're happy that you've finally phased. You're such a beautiful wolf" Esme complimented.

I could also hear some of the packs' thoughts.
-Jared
-Seth
-Embry
- Sam
I could feel my senses and abilities have really heightened now that I'm a wolf. Everything I saw before, is very very clearer now.
I looked into my family's eyes so I could really see what I looked like. I was around Paul's wolf size, but my fur was purely white. My wolf's body matched Leah's due to being female. I saw my Cullen locket dangle from my neck between my fur coat. Though what really caught my focus were my eyes, they were two different colors. One brown, one blue.
"Just like how everything else about you is special. Your eye color represents your different sides of you. Being a hybrid and all." Dad informed me.
Just then I sensed a missed newborn close by and when I turned around there it was. Leah spotted it too, then the family. Leah immediately took charge and went after it. It all happened so fast as I heard Edward yell out, "LEAH DON'T!"
We watched as she struggled to destroy it. I then had enough of this so I growled and pounced on them, only making sure to attack the newborn.
"AVALEI NO!" Edward then yelled too. I ignored him as I was wrestling around with it for a few moments that's when I heard Jacob call out to me.
I quickly looked to the side where he came from but I knew I shouldn't have. Just as I was about to turn around to bite the newborn off of me, it's arms got a hold of my body and all I heard was a bunch of cracks. Then a bunch of blurred figures attacked the newborn after it threw me.
I whimpered loudly and soon found myself on the ground, suffering in pain, now back in my human/hybrid form. I peeked around me, holding my body still just so that I wouldn't hurt anything else.
"Avalei!" I heard a bunch of voices call out. The family was suddenly around me along with Bella.

"Avalei, hold on Carlisle's gonna take care of you." Edward gently turned me so I would be facing up, I whimpered more as he did so.
"She still has under garments on. Is that normal?" Emmett questioned but was ignored by everyone. I didn't care about anything else as I still withered in pain.
"Avalei, hang in there." Bella added.
"Avalei! Avalei! You're going to be okay." Rosalie cooed as she straightened my hair on the side.
"The bones on the right side of her body are shattered." Dad announced calmly.
Just then Jacob came over, knelt down beside Carlisle, as much as I didn't like him right now, I needed to hear his voice one more time. "Jake." I whispered out.
"Avalei, I'm right here." He cooed, touching my cheek. I let a few tears fall down the side of my head.
I heard the rest of the pack approach us, "Avalei, you newbie I had it!" Leah shouted.
"Leah!" Sam scolded also kneeling next to Jacob looking down at me.
"I'm going to have to reset the bones before her accelerated healing kicks in. Its already starting." Dad informed, touching my body gently.
"We need to get her out of here. We're not gonna want to fight with the Volturi." Edward issued.
I looked around again, though my eyes getting a bit droopy from the amount of pain I was in.
"We'll take her back to our place." Sam suggested.
"I'll be there as soon as I can." Carlisle stated.
"Hang in there Avalei. I'm right here." Jacob cooed as he placed my head on his lap. I turned my head to the side to avoid his gaze. Now I let more tears fall.
My family backed away so that a few of the pack members could carefully lift me up. As they did though, I couldn't help but let out cries of pain and scrunched my face in agony. Jacob and Paul were the closest to my head, lifting me up to their shoulders. Just as they were carrying me out of the clearing, I heard Paul say, "It's okay Avalei. We got you."
Another blood curdling scream erupted from the house, that one made us all flinch. I felt my dad touch my arm, I looked down to him, "She'll be okay Jake." He reassured. I looked up and sighed. My dad loves Avalei, he even helped me pick out the right ring to give to her for her birthday. It just hurts me to think that because of what happened, she of won't want to wear it anymore.
After about another 15 minutes, Bella arrived. I really didn't want to see her right now but she's probably here for Avalei.
She walked towards us but stopped a bit as she heard Avalei's scream.
"It's been going on for awhile." Quil informed her as she finally approached us.
"The docs re-breaking her bones" Embry added.
"Why did she have to butt in, I could've taken that tick-" Leah retorted.
"Oh give it a rest Leah." Paul defended, shutting her up. It's nice to see Paul actually not immature for once and caring for someone other than himself.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
"I came to check on her. I wanted to make sure she's okay." She stated. I nodded my head and we waited again.
A few minutes later, Dr. Cullen came out of the house. We all perked up, Sam, Bella and I being the first to approach him.
"The worse is over. I gave her some morphine but her hybrid blood will wear it off soon. I'll be back to set up the drip." Carlisle finished.
"Thank you." My dad suddenly said. I looked at him and nodded. Carlisle went to shake his hand.
"She's asking for you both. Bella first." Carlisle said looking at Bella and me. I looked over to Bella and nodded at her. She gave me a sympathetic look and went in.
