I woke up before Jacob, my head on his chest. We were both still naked, the blanket and a few pillows only covered us. I sat up a bit, careful to not wake him up. He lightly snored and I smiled at him.

I thought back about what happened last night and blushed.

I still watched him for a couple more minutes as he slept. He's just so peaceful.

He then started moving his head a bit, opening his eyes slightly, looking around until his eyes landed on me, then he smiled.

"Good morning" he said with his sexy morning voice.

I smiled back at him, tracing circles on his chest, "Good morning. Had a nice night?"

He then pulled me closer so that my upper body was on top of his, "Last night was amazing. Did you have a nice night?"

"I can honestly say that last night actually the whole day was incredible" I smiled down at him and leaned down to kiss him shortly because I started to giggle.

"What's so funny? Do I have morning breath or something?" He then started to check his breath.

I giggled some more and stopped him, "No it's just that, I'm gonna have to use my mind shield thing a lot more for awhile just so that the others don't see or assume anything."

He smiled too, "You know they'll already know about it sooner or later. I mean the boys have already been through these things with Sam and Jared. And most disgustingly Paul." He scrunched his face making me laugh.

"Yeah I guess so. But I just don't want them thinking they were right. You know about what happened." I blushed.

"Hey we're in this together. If they tease us then we'll just embrace it because yesterday is another day added to my favorite days to remember. That goes with the day we imprinted and the day we had our first kiss." He then kissed me.

He pulled away shortly, "And if they tease us, we'll just embarrass them back. Though I am a little afraid of what your family might say. I mean I know we didn't do anything wrong it's just, blondie might hate me even more than she already does." He laughed.

"My family will understand. And Rose, she said as long as we were safe and careful, that it's okay with her. Besides, I don't even want to get started on what their love lives are like." I hid my face in his chest.

We packed everything up, that being not much since I didn't unpack much last night, and headed towards Sam's house. We walked there, Jake held my bag and my hand.

"Heyyy if it isn't the two love birds. What, finished already?" Paul commented. Oh here we go.

Jake and I shook our heads in ignorance, "Good morning to you guys too" I greeted and went to hug Emily who was in the kitchen. When I came back, Jared chimed in.

"So Avalei, how was it? Was he bad? You're not pregnant are you?" Jared asked.

"Yeah, we heard some moans from the woods while out on patrol last night so it went great I bet." Paul teased but Sam came in and smacked his head.

"What did I say about butting into their love lives? They did it, it's done. Move on." Sam ordered. That made the guys all shut up. Jake and I were thankful for his maturity. Though, what Jared mentioned made me think...Can I get pregnant? I'm gonna have to ask Carlisle in the future about it...

Seth then came over to us, I hugged him, Jake bro hugged him, "So when are we heading to the field?" He asked.

"After we have some of Emily's wonderful breakfast." I complimented and sat down next to Jake and started eating.

"Guess they really went at it last night, they both worked up an appetite." Paul teased.

I didn't let that get to me, I just looked at Jacob and smirked, he too smirked back.

I could smell Bella's scent all over the place. She probably placed a bit of blood around the field.

Edward and Bella were talking though I couldn't make out what they were saying except the last part, "I just want him to have a clear head" Bella said until Jacob joined in.

He held my hand as Seth walked beside me.

"Who's head is unclear?" Jacob joined in.

"Nobody's I hope." Bella replied. I was too a bit curious to what they were talking about. I tried peeking into Edward's mind but he kept reciting something I didn't care about. Something was up.

"Alice says there's a storm coming," Edward announced.

"Yeah I can feel it. We should get going." Jacob issued.

He looked at me and kissed my forehead as Bella said goodbye to Edward as well.

"We'll see you in a couple of hours." Edward stated.

"I love you. I'll see you soon." Jacob said as he kissed me, then walking over to Bella.

"Something up?" Jacob asked as he picked up Bella. I too jumped on Seth's back.

"Bunch of vampires trying to kill me and Avalei." Bella joked.

We laughed at that a bit, "Same old same old." Jacob added. That's when we waved goodbye to them and went in our different directions.

We finally got to the campsite. Jacob and Bella just got here too. Bella went to hug Edward and I went to Jacob.

Edward said thanks to Jacob and Jacob said thanks to Seth.

"You should get back before the storm hits" Bella called out to Jacob.

He looked down to me, "No I'm staying. You'll need my connection to the pack to keep tabs on what's going on."

"You're not gonna fight?" I questioned him.

"Embry will fill us in in the morning. Seth will stay up here during the whole time though." Jacob stated.

I looked over at Seth who slumped down a bit, "He doesn't like that he's missing the action but Sam said it'll keep him out of trouble." I patted Seth's shoulder.

"We should get you girls inside the tents." Edward said. There were 2 tents. One for Bella and Edward, the other for me, Jacob and Seth.

I looked up to Jacob, I knew he could hear her being cold too. I thought for a second then sighed, "You should go over there. She needs the warmth."

Jacob looked at me, "But you do too. I don't want leave you."

"I know, but Bella needs to warm up. I'm already pretty warm here. If I conjure fire in a tent, it'll just burn it down. Go, Seth will keep me warm." I said sitting up and pointing to Seth. Seth too sat up.

Jacob then followed, "You sure?"

"Yeah, I need to share my personal space heater sometimes. Go." I reassured him. As much as I didn't want to make him go to Bella, she needs the heat.

He got up and went over to the opening, before he went out, he bent over and kissed my forehead, "I'll be back soon." I smiled slightly as he exited the tent. The wind blew hard as Jacob closed the tent again. I could already feel the coldness coming back to me.

I instantly turned around to Seth and cuddled next to him, laying my head on his chest as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders. He's my little brother so it wasn't weird at all.

I could hear Jacob open the tent to Bella's and Edward.

"Can't sleep with all that teeth chattering going on." Jacob said through the sound of the hard winds. He closed the tent.

It was quiet for awhile then I heard Edward speak, "Forget it."

"She may need her toes someday. And let's face it. I am hotter than you." Jacob implied. Seth and I both laughed a bit at that joke.

I heard something that sounded like a slap, "Get your hand off me," Jacob warned. I guess Edward didn't like the idea either.

"Keep your hands off her." Edward warned back.

"D-don't f-f-fight." Bella shivered out.

"If she gets sick its on you." Jacob added.

More silence after that until I heard Bella's shivering calm down a bit. Jacob probably was warming her up now.

"Wow you're freezing Bella. Relax, you'll warm up soon. Faster if you took your clothes off." Jacob retorted. Okay what? Okay its not a big deal. Avalei, no need to worry. He's yours.

"Jake" Bella stuttered.

"Survival 101" Jacob finished.

And with that, I fell asleep.

After awhile, everyone's heartbeats were steady and slow. I could sense Avalei now fast asleep.

I was going to sleep too until I heard talking again coming from Bella's tent.

I focused back on the other tent's conversation.

"Can you at least, attempt to control your thoughts?" I heard Edward say. Jacob was either thinking about Avalei or about Bella. It could go either way but I just hope its Avalei.

"I really get under that ice cold skin of yours don't I? What? Are you doubting her feelings for you?" Jacob started. Okay I guess it was about Bella...Jake, please don't do this.

It was silent for a few short moments until Jacob spoke again, "Nice, so picking through my brain's okay, but letting me into yours. Forget it."

"Look, I know she's in love with you." Jacob started.

"Good." Edward quickly added.

"But she's in love with me too. She just won't admit it to herself." Jacob continued. Again Jake, really? This is what I was talking about! Don't let your old self take over again!

"I can't tell if you're right." Edward replied.

"Then let me ask you something...If she chooses me..." Jacob started.

"She won't" Edward replied. Yes, she won't because she has you and Jake has Avalei!

"If she did, would you try to kill me?" Jacob asked. Really Jake?! Snap out of it! I wish I could use wolf telepathy through human form too.

I growled a little, but I didn't want to wake Avalei up. She just stirred a bit but still slept. Good, I don't want her hearing this conversation.

"That's an intriguing idea." Edward laughed a little, "But no. I couldn't hurt her or Avalei like that." Yes! Mention Avalei!

"So you'd just turn Bella into a bloodsucking demon like you." Jacob insulted. Seriously, if he wasn't older or if Avalei wasn't asleep on me, I'd stop this conversation way before it happened.

"I don't want that. I never wanted that." Edward countered.

"So stop her." Jacob included.

"I tried. I left." Edward stated.

"But you gave up too quickly. If you'd stay away another 6 months, I could've made her happy. Trust me. You have to consider, that I might be better for her than you are" Hello! What about Avalei!? If it wasn't for Bella though, they wouldn't have met so soon. But it still would've happened.

"I have considered that. Look, I know you can protect her, but you can give her a life, a human life. That's all I want for her." Edward stated. Come on! Is Avalei really out of this conversation? And Edward, are you not hearing my mind right now?

"And I'm not gonna force her into anything, ever again. Last time I tried, it almost killed us both." Edward added. Clearly not.

"Yeah, that I remember." Jacob replied. They were talking about when Bella went to Italy to save Edward. Avalei told me about the Volturi one time.

"When you thought she was gone, when you lost her. How did you...cope?" Jacob asked. Okay maybe Avalei will fit into this one.

"There are no words. But I wouldn't wish it on anyone Jacob." There was a slight pause but Edward continued. "This might sound odd, but I'm glad your here."

"Meaning, as much as I want to kill you, I'm glad she's warm." Jacob corrected.

"If we weren't natural enemies, and you weren't trying to steal my reason for existing, I might actually like you." Edward finished. I smiled a bit, aside from the former topic, its been nice hearing them actually talking to one another.

"Well, if you weren't planning on sucking the life out of one of the girls I love, I might...no not even then." Jacob ended which made Edward chuckle. Okay that ended off alright. At least he said one of the girls he loves. But its still wrong that he is putting Bella first again besides Avalei. I need to talk to him about it later. I also have to make sure Avalei doesn't find out about this conversation.

Just as I was about to finally sleep, I heard Jacob again, "But she could still change her mind you know?" Ughhhhh I thought we were over this.

"Then I'd let her go." Edward finished.

I shook my head in frustration then drifted off to sleep.
