Jungkook had never thought that things would get so messed up. Taehyung had invited him and his family to meet his father. Although he had no intention of going anywhere that too after his sister's death yet he agreed to his lover's request seeing how desperate he was for it.
With a sick feeling he entered inside the Kim mansion and saw Taehyung waiting for them just a few steps away. There was something weird about his aura today and Jungkook could tell that by just looking at him once. He smiled when their eyes locked but then suddenly there was a hoard of people surrounding them. The next second Jungkook and his family were tied and made to kneel down on their knees.
"Tae? W...What is all this?" Jungkook questioned while struggling to free himself from the grip of the men holding him in place. But before he could get a reply the sounds of grunting and questioning caught his attention. He looked towards the door and saw his friends being pushed inside as well.
"Tae? You said Jungkook got into an accident and that you sent a van for us. But what is all this?" Jimin questioned his soulmate with a perplexed countenance. Taehyung didn't give him any reply. Instead he walked towards the kneeling ravenette and threw the 'Promise ring' he was wearing on his face.
"I don't need this now. The plan is successful." He announced with no emotions. Jungkook felt his heart race with a new anxiety. "T...Tae?" He stuttered. Taehyung looked away from him as if his voice was irritating him.
"You were just fling Jungkook. I never loved you and now it was getting too boring for me. I was going to dump you anyway so I just helped my dad before that. Now your fate is up-to dad. He is the leader of the Kim mafia dear ex boyfriend. Now it's your luck." Taehyung had no emotions on his face. He looked so different. It was a person Jungkook never knew.

"What about all those moments we spent together? They can't be a lie." Jungkook looked at his lover with tears running down his face. "I'm the presidet of the drama club. You have seen my plays in the university. Right? It was an act Jungkook. Why would I want to be with someone like you? They are your friends. I never considered these low lives as my friends. I'm so glad that this act is over now."
Jungkook was speechless. He didn't dare say a word. "Bravo my son. I'm so proud of you." Came a voice which forced them all to look up. Han-Gyoel stood near the door with a big smile on his face. The man took long strides towards them and then sat on one of the many ottomans placed in that parlour. He took out a gun from his belt strap and casually swung it around.
The ravenette's eyes widened. He looked at the people around and felt a lump in his throat. He couldn't let them all die. "Please I beg you to leave all of them. Please." He pleaded infront of the boy he loved more than himself. "Son what do you say? He was your lover once and these your friends. Do you want to let them go?" Han-Gyoel spoke instead. Despite that Taehyung didn't say a word and Jungkook's heart broke more and more.
"Looks like my son doesn't want anything to do with you. So that leaves me and I'm more than willing to let you go. On one condition though. Hand over your company and all other assets to me and in return have your lives spared." Han-Gyoel suggested with a mocking grin.
Pildo nodded his head without second thoughts. For him the life of his dear ones was more important than the money and property he owned unlike the man infront of him. Soon the contract was signed that took away everything from them. Jungkook didn't say anything. He didn't even look up from the floor. His life had been flipped in a second and that too because of his lover's beyrayal.

He took a deep breath but then his heart stopped. Three loads bangs and a painful scream from his father was enough to shake his soul. "DAD!" He shouted looking at the man squirming in pain. "Here take this money and go to a nice hospital. You all are free to go now." Han-Gyoel said throwing some money near the bleeding man.
As soon as he was released, Jungkook ran to his father crying hysterically. He looked up only to find Taehyung standing in the middle of the stairs looking at them without any expression. He felt his blood boil with anger and shouted.
"I HATE YOU KIM TAEHYUNG."
__
"That was the last thing you said to him before leaving. Those words broke him Jungkook. He started blaming himself for everything. He would cry infront of me and Ji-ung without realising that I was a part if his father's plan too. He became a puppet after that following every order his father gave him. He didn't speak or show his emotions. We had to force him to even eat and drink. We found him with a blade in his hand so many times Jungkook but luckily he couldn't take that step. He just wanted to see you living well before dying. Now after years he wanted to tell you everything but the fact that you would not believe him without any proof kept him from it. He pleaded me to help him find an evidence against his father but I didn't listen to him. My coward self betrayed him all the time and that fool doesn't even know it."
Jungkook was in pain. Pain for his Taehyung who had gone through hell all alone. He had sacrificed all his happiness just for their lives. And despite of noticing the pain in his eyes Jungkook didn't question him even once. Heck! He didn't even let him speak about the past himself.
"Jungkook." The call for his name forced him to look up from his lap. "I don't know if you all believe me or not. But Taehyung is innocent. He can never do that to you. He loves you the most Jungkook. That boy doesn't even know a single thing about today's incident." Saying this Seojun took out his phone from the jacket he was wearing.
"Here is the complete recording of the conversation you heard before."
