BREAKING NEWS: The CEO of AD. Corp was taken in for interrogation after finding some documents related to the painkiller scandal. According to the police officers handling this case the files had enough information against the company and they have finally arrested Jackson Wang. He would be taken to the trial directly from the police station.
The involvement of Kim Corporation in this scandal was not even a single percent. All the files they had were enough to deem them innocent. After this case it is obvious that small companies really try to ruin successful and respected people like Mr. Kim Han-Gyoel. It was not the first time when such a thing happened to the company. Mr. Kim has always tried to support smaller companies in the past too but there is no place for morals these days. We wish for the modest man to come out of this problem as soon as possible. Now moving on to the next news...............
Taehyung wanted to pull out his hair after hearing the news. Things had turned out totally opposite to his expectations. Jungkook had been confident in the morning and Seojun had assured him too. Then where did things go wrong? He was so confused. Moreover the fake image of his father in the society disgusted him. People trusted Han-Gyoel because he had made himself an image of a good citizen infront of people. Others saw him as the kind CEO who was running various orphanages and old age homes to help people out but Taehyung knew his actual reality.
He must have done something. I hope Jungkook is alright. He thought to himself and quickly grabbed his phone from the side table. He was about to call his husband but the shrill cry of his baby took his attention away. He hopped to his feet and went to the crib where his baby had been sleeping peacefully till now.

"Hani. Appa is here. Did my baby get scared?" He gently picked up the crying boy in his arms and tried to soothe him. He then slowly laid him on the bed and changed his diaper. Once the work was done he fed Haneul with the baby formula he had prepared beforehand.
"Hani tomorrow is Christmas. It would be our first one together as a family. I'm so excited for it. I hope everything settles down before the day ends today." He said while fondly looking at the baby in his arms who was busy sucking his bottle. His smile widened when Haneul held his finger with his little hands as if assuring him that everything would be alright.
It took him about an hour to lull his little boy back to sleep. He stared at the child, now sleeping peacefully in the crib. Haneul gave him a sense of completion. It was as if he had given him a new identity that he loved from the very starting. Jungkook was his universe and Haneul it's brightest star. He couldn't even imagine his life without the two for even a second now.
The sudden thought of a certain ravenette sent jolly tingles throughout his body. You're such a simp Tae. He tsked at himself. He turned around and started walking towards his abandoned phone. The boy had taken just a step when unexpectedly the door to his room opened revealing his husband.
A big boxy smile graced his face as soon as his eyes landed on the ravenette. "Jungkook." He said and ran towards the other enclosing him in a hug. He took in his favourite scent but then a sudden realisation hit him. Jungkook was not hugging him back. He separated himself from the ravenette and it was then that he took a closer look at the older.

Jungkook's eyes were red and hair disheveled. He looked tired and emotionless. "Kook? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked as a sudden uneasy feeling erupted inside him. "The company." Came a short cold reply. The petite boy's eyes widened in realisation. He was so busy with his baby that he had totally forgotten about the scandal.
"Don't worry Kook. Everything will be fine. Your company would come out of this mess. I'm sure of it." Jungkook scoffed hearing the positive words of his lover. "You're really good at it." He said suddenly. Taehyung looked at him in confusion. "Good at what?" He asked.
"Good at acting. Acting as if everything is fine." Jungkook said with an expressionless face. Taehyung sighed at him before speaking. "I'm not acting Kook. I know everything would be alright. It's called being optimistic you fool." Taehyung tried his best to say something that might lift up his husband's mood. He was totally unaware of the actual meaning behind those words.
Fool. That I am. Jungkook thought to himself and smiled sadly. He then quickly walked towards the crib and picked up the sleeping baby in his arms. "I'm taking Haneul." He said coldly and Taehyung felt uneasy. He really wanted to ask Jungkook about the matter but he kept quiet for now. He wanted to give the ravenette some time to ease out.
"Where? Should I come with you?" He asked instead. Jungkook shook his head. "No. There's no need for you to come. I just need Haneul. He is enough." Those words made Taehyung's stomach churn in a negative way. "Kook? You're scaring me now. Why are you so cold and distant? You can always talk to me baby." He cried out.
"There's nothing wrong. You don't have to worry. The company's problem will be solved soon. I just want to take Haneul somewhere." Jungkook spoke but didn't look into his eyes even once. "Take him then Kook. He's your son too. You don't have to ask me. But come back quickly. I'll be waiting for you." Taehyung didn't want to let them go. He had this ugly feeling inside but he chose to ignore it for Jungkook's happiness.
He eyed the ravenette's retreating back with longing. He wanted to cry. "He's not leaving you forever. Stop overreacting." He said to himself wiping away the lone tear from his eyes. Just then a servant entered inside the room and gave him an envelope.
"Master Jungkook said to give it to you once he left the mansion." He informed and then bowed before leaving the place. With shaky hands the boy took out the papers from the brown cover. His breath hitched as his eyes landed on the contents. The papers fell from his hands and his knees buckled.
He couldn't believe his eyes. This was not possible. They were happy this morning. Right? Then what went wrong. What happened in these few hours that Jungkook had suddenly decided to send him....
Divorce papers and papers for Haneul's sole custody.

Earth Exodus
Elliot isn't the first one taken, he was the last, or one of them at least. Careless divines, gods, or higher powers had been snatching humans through numerous means over the years. Those that returned brought minor tokens of their previous power if anything at all. Over time unrestrained magic became commonplace on earth. Which must have brought attention to us. The earth is ravaged by increasing levels of rogue magics, divines, and a war over resources and experience. Eventually resulting in a mass exodus of the remaining powerless humans by a coalition of gods. Now translocated to Vauthia where everyone has been given a path to power. They're met with an unfortunate reality. They've only been rescued from one dying world to be tasked with saving the new one. While at the same time they're apparently supposed to compete with one another. Meanwhile Elliot wasn't just given a path to power. He was given a choice. The opportunity for true power is offered. When as he reaches for it the power isn't all it's cracked up to be.Systemless in a world where everyone else has access to one Elliot must grapple with a multitude of problems from without and within. The 'gods' might actually be incompetent, uncaring, downright malicious, or all three. His power is constantly three steps behind those who chose the quick path to power. There's also the antisocial tendencies he's brought with him from earth. Can he trust the 'god' who seems to be taking him under their wing? Will he be able to catch up to his fellow earthlings who're ever increasing in power? Is it possible he may just break out of his shell along the way?*** What to expect ***The initial start will be quite slow, building the setting, history, and individuals involved. There is a small bit of progression in these early chapters for the MC, but more along the lines of figuring out how their systemless power works. though once the story gains traction it won't stop.*** Don't tell Elliot, but ***Elliot hates to admit it but he's very clearly antisocial. Not to mention troubles with thinking that stem from several un-diagnosed disorders he'd rather believe don't exist.*** Image Copyright *** //In this satellite image released by Copernicus Sentinel imagery, 2020 twitter page dated Dec. 31, 2019, shows wildfires burning across Australia.
