The chilling December air had brought the white crystals of snow with it's arrival. The temperature had dropped to about -5 degree Celsius and it was definitely freezing outside. Taehyung though was feeling really weird today. He felt hot as if it was mid May. His forehead was full of sweat droplets and his back was killing him.
He had just started the ninth month of his pregnancy and it was already taking such a big toll on his body. He couldn't even imagine his condition during child birth. "Miss Han!" He called out when the pain in his back became too much to handle. "Yes Mr. Jeon." The lady came in after a minute or so. "Please get me a hot water bottle. By back is getting sore." His face scrunched up in pain as he tried to adjust himself comfortably. The lady bowed before sprinting out of the room.
Taehyung closed his eyes with the intention of relaxing his worked up body. He took deep breaths and after a few minutes the pain subsided a little. "Are you alright Tae?" A concerned voice forced him to open his eyes. He smiled when he saw his husband taking long strides towards him. "Just back pain. That's normal now." He reassured.
The ravenette gave him a loving kiss on the forehead and then sat down next to him. "I can't believe it's already your 34th week. Just three more weeks and then we'll have our melon in our hands. I'm so excited." Jungkook said. A big bunny smile adorning his face. "Me too." Taehyung replied with the same enthusiasm.
"You know Tae today we all had a talk and everyone else is ready to forgive you too. They'll come back after an hour or so and then you can all have a good talk. What do you say?" Jungkook said caressing the other's cheek. Taehyung was about to reply but a wave of pain in his back and lower abdomen took his breath away.

"What happened?" Jungkook got concerned when he saw Taehyung's sudden condition. Taehyung though was in no position to reply. His hold on Jungkook's jacket tightened as another wave of pain passed through his body. "Bra...xton Hicks" He said when the pain became a little bearable.
Jungkook nodded his head and kept on sitting there while silently rubbing Taehyung's back. He couldn't do anything in this situation and he felt really bad about it. He had keenly observed the changes his husband's body has gone through these past eight months. His aching back, swollen feet, sore legs and many other problems had not stopped him from loving and caring for others around him. Jungkook had grown to respect and love him even more after witnessing all this.
"Tae?" The ravenette called out when Taehyung suddenly gasped. His eyes widened and he looked at Jungkook in pure horror. With shaky hands he removed the quilt covering his legs and when he saw the big wet patch tears made their way out of his eyes. "It's too early. Kook it's too early." He cried out.
Jungkook was shaken up too. He couldn't remove his eyes from the big wet patch but when he heard the panicked cries of his husband he forced himself back to his senses. "It'll be alright. Everything his going to be fine Tae. Don't panic." He picked up Taehyung in his arms and then walked out of the house hurriedly.
Getting inside the car he instructed the driver to take them to the hospital while trying his very best to soothe his husband. Taehyung was in tremendous pain and the early labour had panicked both of them. The only thing they could do now was to wish for their baby's safety.
The ravenette was pacing back and forth in front of the operation theatre. With each passing second his anxiety was reaching it's peak. Six hours and there was still no news about Taehyung or the baby. "Jungkook sit down. Everything will be alright." Jimin said looking at the worked up ravenette.

Just then the door to the OT opened and Hyunsik walked out. Jungkook ran to the male and looked at him with expectant and hopeful eyes. Hyunsik smiled at that and said "There's no need to worry. The baby is absolutely healthy. We'll keep him in the NICU for a few days and then you can take your precious son home."
"And Taehyung?" Jungkook asked. His insides would not settle down in peace till the time he knows that both are safe and sound. "There were some complications with his heart rate during the labour and it took us some time to stabilize him but now he is alright. We've given him some sleep medications so he'll be unconconcious for today." Hyunsik informed.
"Mr. Jeon your husband's pregnancy was a healthy one. He was well taken care of and this was why his body could handle all the pressure. Despite that his heart did get weaker. You'll have to be extra careful from now on." Jungkook nodded his head and gulped. "What about the transplant Hyunsik?"
"Mr. Jeon we've not been able to find any heart donor till now but we're trying our best. You don't have to worry though his heart is not even that weak. Proper care can last him a year or two more. Till then we'll hopefully find a heart for him." Hyunsik reassured the ravenette.
The two discussed about a few more things and then the nurse led Jungkook to the NICU. He smiled when his eyes fell on the little human inside the glass case. "Hey there! I'm you Dad. Were you that eager to meet us that you decided to come this early. Hmm." His eyes were glassy as he looked at his son. A feeling of extreme love and euphoria bloomed in his heart. He couldn't describe the happiness he felt at the moment.
After a few minutes he walked out of the room and entered inside another room where the love of his life was. Taking a seat beside the sleeping male he held his hand and kissed it lovingly.
"Thank you for making me the happiest man on earth. I love you so much." Tears of happiness made their way out of his eyes. He looked at Taehyung with love and smiled.
His life was all better now. There was nothing that bothered him. Now all he wanted was to build a beautiful future with Taehyung and his son. Caressing Taehyung's head he whispered...
"Life is going to be a path of roses from now on."

Gamer
This story is abandoned and has not been authorized for distribution on any sites but RoyalRoad. Given the Gamer ability after shattering a crystal inside a game, Jon's world is upturned as he is thrown into a life he considered fantasy. Making new enemies and encountering a god, he cannot escape the quest which is forced on him. Different worlds and different situations, can he come out on top? He's neither perfect nor a saint, he is Jon. Welcome to Gamer. This has been dropped, I didn't like the way I forced a few plotpoints and I lost my notes on the story itself. Read below if you want to be spoilered. As far as I recall, he would change race into a higher human after using a spell to overload his mana repeatably until his body forcibly adapts, he would train up his rift usage spell with some better targets than God's Realm because he keeps hitting his stats limit until the cost lowers enough that he can actually grind it. His world is being invaded by multiple worlds, so the god had many backup plans where a lot of people went into their own fantasy settings and came back to defend Earth. Jon never is the strongest one out there, he has to keep grinding and grinding before he gets stronger than the other heroes, and at that point the invasion is nearing the final stretch. Jon's two biggest advantages is that he can keep grinding without hitting a cap he can't evolve, and that even when he is eventually killed. He would have respawned in the nearest 'Safe Zone' after dropping a level and everything he did to gain that level. I also had a bunch of ideas for mini-arcs where he would play in multiple worlds in multiple situations, not that great of an idea in retrospect.
