Glass walls. White furniture. Expensive decorations all around. The room exuded extravagance and gloat. It was totally something his father would have. Taehyung sat on one of the many ottomans in there waiting for Han-Gyoel. He was anxious but determined at the same time.
When his father entered the office he did not stand nor he greeted the man. Han-Gyoel scoffed at Taehyung's sassy behavior and sat across the boy. "Why are you here? Do you want to apologize to me?" He said arrogantly and Taehyung just smiled at that. A fake one of course.
"I'm here to talk to you. Here have some coffee and relax." He pointed to the cups that were present in front of them. Ever so arrogantly the man took the cup in his hands and sat back sipping onto the bitter liquid. He gestured Taehyung to say whatever he came for and the boy nodded.
"Stay away from my family Mr. Kim. Do not plan anything against Jungkook." Taehyung eyed the man coldly. Han-Gyoel snickered and took a sip from the cup in his hand. "Why do you think I would listen to you son? What will you do? Cry and beg in front of me. Hmm." He mocked Taehyung. His smug smile not leaving his face even once.
"I'm sure you'll do everything I say because you would definitely not want to lose the company. Right?" Han-Gyoel paused. The smile from his lips fell as his mind registered the words. "W... What do you mean?" He stuttered as anxiousness took over his senses.
"I know the company is mine. This year I'll become the legal owner. So if you want the company try to be in your limits. One scratch on Jungkook or the others and you'll lose everything Mr. Kim." Taehyung sounded so firm and confident that the man infront of him felt a shiver run down his spine.

"Are you th..." "Yes. I am threatening you. It's a warning." Taehyung cut him off in between. "And one more thing." He said and placed a small glass bottle on the table. Han-Gyoel's eyes widened as he read the words 'Poison' on it. He got up and ran towards the trash can. Putting his fingers inside his mouth he tried to vomit out all the coffee he had consumed.
"Don't fret over it. I may be your son but I'm not like you. It was just a warning. You will get the punishment you deserve and I would definitely not like to taint myself with your dirty blood." Saying this the boy turned around and went out of the door leaving behind a panting and apprehensive Han-Gyoel.
Walking out of the building and towards his car Taehyung sported a big smile on his face. A genuine one. A smile of satisfaction. Immense satisfaction that he felt after taking a stand for himself. "You look happy." Ji-ung said as he eyed the boy who was making himself comfortable on the passenger seat.
Taehyung nodded and sighed in relief. "Tae let's tell Jungkook about everything that happened back then. He loves you and he will definitely believe everything" Ji-ung looked into the boy's eyes. Taehyung shook his head at that and said "Hyung I want to tell him everything too but only when I have proof. They wouldn't believe me because I've hurt them badly. Also I don't want to take advantage of the little love he shows me. What if he shuts me out completely because he thinks that I'm lying? No. I don't want that. We'll wait for Seojun hyung. He'll definitely help."
"I understand. It will be difficult to believe if one day you just come out of nowhere and tell them that everything was a lie back then. We'll make a plan but for now I'm dropping you home. That's enough activities for today." With that Ji-ung started the car and drove away from the Kim Corporation. The place that was the witness of Taehyung's first win against his evil father.

Jungkook was pacing back and forth in the parlour. Taehyung had left early in the morning. Currently it was four in the evening and there was still no sign of him. He was not even picking up his calls. Jungkook had definitely not imagined his sunday to be this stressful.
He stopped and looked at the wall clock. Sighing heavily he tried to call his husband again but the response was the same. It was making him really uneasy. I'm worried for melon. That's it. He told himself again and again but his heart knew the actual truth.
The sudden footsteps immediately caught his attention and when his eyes landed on the petite male he quickly walked towards him. "Where were you? Are you alright? Why weren't you picking up my calls?" He questioned as he eyed the boy up and down to make sure that he was alright.
Taehyung hugged Jungkook instead and took a deep breath to take in his calming scent. "I was with Ji-ung hyung. We lost track of time. My phone must be silent. I forgot to check it and don't worry I'm absolutely fine." He answered all the questions smiling to himself.
"I was just worried about melon. Don't think it was something else." Jungkook said separating himself from the clingly male. "I know. I know." Taehyung said and huffed in amusement. "Be creative Mr. Jeon. That excuse is boring now." Jungkook rolled his eyes at the other's sassy comment but smiled nevertheless.
"Ok leave that aside. Let's go and eat these pastries I've got. There is chocolate, strawberry and two three more." Taehyung said and held onto Jungkook's hand. Then he started dragging him towards the kitchen. "You know I couldn't decide what to buy. I was craving for so many. So I bought one of each flavour." Taehyung kept on ranting and talking while plating the sweet delight in different plates.
On the other hand Jungkook kept on looking at him with heart eyes. He so badly wanted to kiss the other and embrace him in a tight hug but he held himself back like always. Smiling sadly to himself he thought.....
"I'm sorry Tae but I'm doing this to protect myself. I want to be selfish this time."

If you like my work, supports are greatly appreciated. Wolf of the Wasteland, a tale of a lone girl who has rid herself of the shackles and chains of her past. Left alone on a sun-scorched desert planet Wolf must fight for survival while she flees Bloody Mirra and her group of cannibalistic bandits who had imprisoned her long ago. Wolf will have to scavenge for food, ammunition and most importantly water while on the hunt. This world is scorching, dry, and desolate. Will she survive and put an end to Mirra? Will she be able to leave her past behind and forge a brighter future? Will she have to be as ruthless as her captors and murder and steal from the innocent to survive? Author’s Notes: My work is often graphic and mature in nature. I only recommend it for the fans who are not faint of heart. This work will contain swears and violence. Alternative Option: Skip to [Chapter 6 - Introduction] if you would like to meet Wolf while skipping over the extra violent and gory beginnings of this grim adventure. Note for artists: I'd love to feature your content if you decide to do Wolf of the Wasteland art. I'm excited to see what Wolf looks like visualized.

8 114Tale about fire
This tale starts like many others, with a slave boy that escaped and now seeks the power to never suffer in the hands of another again, with an unbalanced and cruel world where the strong rule and the weak serve, filled with natural dangers and opportunities to the ones that call themselves practitioners, the ones who seek the power of the Four. It follows as the disgusted by the world boy, resolved to change it by fire and destruction if needed find his way into the practitioners’ world in a search for true strength. Little the boy knew that his fate, or chains if you would, bounded him to so much more than just that. - I apologize in advance for any grammatical mistakes, part of why I’m writing this tale is to get better in the language. It’s also my first story so constructive criticism is appreciated.
