Jungkook couldn't help but ponder over the words said to him earlier. Was he wrong about taking revenge from his perpetrators? Was he wrong to think about avenging his sister's death? Revenge was not blinding him. Was it? He was not sure about a single thing now. The only thing he knew was that he had to take down Kim Han-Gyoel for his heart to be at peace.
"Ladies and gentlemen." The voice of the host brought him out of his thoughts. "The night has been really amazing so far. To make it even more memorable I request you all to join the dance floor with your lovely partners. Mr. Jeon why don't we start with you?" Jungkook smiled awkwardly at that and nodded his head. Standing up from his seat he extended his hand and placed it infront of his husband.
Taehyung slowly held onto the tattooed hand and let himself be led to the dance floor. Although there were other couples around them yet he felt extremely shy. He clinged onto Jungkook for some mental support.
You know I want you
It's not a secret I try to hide
I know you want me
So don't keep sayin' our hands are tied
And fate is pullin' you miles away
And out of reach from me
But you're here in my heart
So who can stop me if I decide
That you're my destiny?
The song changed from a very slow one to one of their favourite songs. And then it all felt magical. Jungkook held his waist with utmost care while his arms went around the older's neck. They started swaying with the music feeling the song way too much. It felt and sounded like their own story.
What if we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine

Nothing could keep us apart
You'd be the one I was meant to find
It's up to you, and it's up to me
No one can say what we get to be
So why don't we rewrite the stars?
Maybe the world could be ours
Tonight.
They breathed out heavily as they got even closer while dancing. Their bodies were touching and their foreheads were connected. The closeness sent warm tingles throughout their forms. It was an amazing feeling.
All I want is to fly with you
All I want is to fall with you
So just give me all of you
It feels impossible
It's not impossible
Is it impossible?
Say that it's possible
Jungkook turned Taehyung around and then swiftly enclosed his petite body in a back hug. They kept on swaying with the music. Jungkook placed a feathery kiss on Taehyung's neck while his hold on him consolidated even more. They both were in ecstasy.
How do we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine?
Nothing can keep us apart
'Cause you are the one I was meant to find
It's up to you
And it's up to me
No one can say what we get to be
And why don't we rewrite the stars?
Changing the world to be ours.
Right person at the wrong time. What was that? The only thing they knew was that with the right person even the worst time changes to the most magical and right one. Nothing mattered to them at the moment. Even when the song came to an end and the crowd started cheering and applauding for them they didn't let go. Heck! They were so into the moment that they didn't even hear the things around them.
"That was beautiful!" The loud and somewhat annoying voice of the host brought them back to the reality. The two slowly separated themselves but still held onto each other's hand. "You both really looked like a couple from a fairytale." The host cheered out and the two just smiled.

How ironic? Fairytale? Jungkook scoffed at that. If anything their relationship could definitely not be a fairytale. But deciding to not dwell on that thought more he led Taehyung back to the table they were sitting at earlier.
"Kook! I want to use the restroom." Taehyung said as they were about to sit. "Go then. But be quick." Jungkook said taking his seat at the table. He didn't want to send Taehyung alone but he had given himself away too much today. So he couldn't afford to get more soft.
Taehyung nodded his head assuring the ravenette that he would come back quickly and went away from the place. Entering inside the nearest restroom he eyed himself in the mirror. His cheeks were still red from the dance they did earlier and his stomach was busy doing happy flips inside.
"I know. I know. That you're excited too." He said caressing his stomach as if his little melon was listening to his every word. Smiling he entered inside one of the cubicles but just the next second the main door to the restroom was opened and some footsteps were heard.
Taehyung remained absolutely quiet because he had this sudden feeling of dread settle inside him. With the sound coming from outside he could make out that there were two men there.
"Is it done?" One of them said. It suddenly intrigued Taehyung a lot. He placed his ear against the door to hear everything more clearly. "Everything is going according to the plan don't worry. They'll arrive soon."
This was the only thing the two men discussed before walking away from there. Taehyung stayed inside for sometime and when he was sure that there was no one around he came outside. Without a second thought he hurried outside because he knew that something bad was definitely going on.
Frantic and out of breath he reached Jungkook who got up immediately concerned about his state. "What's wrong?" The ravenette asked while scanning him from head to toe. "K...Kook. Something is w...wrong." Taehyung was full on panicking. "Calm down first. Breathe for me." Jungkook caressed his arms gently and signaled him to take deep breaths. Taehyung did as told and felt himself calming down a little.
"Good! Now tell me what's wrong." The ravenette's voice was very soft so that Taehyung doesn't panic again. The boy gulped and opened his mouth to say the words but a loud sound cut him off.
They turned around to see the host falling onto the ground with......
A bullet hole right in the centre of his head.

Infested
One billion people from one hundred thousand universes have been dropped onto a singular planet five times larger than Earth. In the corner of their eye were three numbers: 1,000,000,000. 15. 10. Nobody could figure out what it meant until fifteen years after the initial transportation, as out of the blue, a message repeated itself in their minds for twenty-four hours. “Only ten can return. The rest will die. There is no time limit,” Following the global message, genocides ran rampant, with established friendships broken, families ripped apart, blood alliances betrayed, and leaders felled in seconds. How? [The Evgnomon] The Beholden; hidden throughout the realm were artefacts: weapons, information, tools from beings and societies of a higher plane. It was up to the humans to scour the land and take them by hook or by crook if they ever wished to go back. Whisked into this world as a mere babe, I suppose it was lucky I didn’t die in the chaos. But as I stare into the rotten, tattered pages of the accursed book laid upon the pedestal in front of me; and the unnerving gaze of our professor trained onto the back of my head silently pressuring me to become the avatar of grotesques unspeakable and undecipherable to the human mind. O, how I wish I did...
