Euphoria. A feeling of intense excitement and happiness. It's a feeling that takes you to the seventh heaven. This is how he felt as he looked at his now three months old baby bump. It was very small yet the most precious to him. He gently stroked the round figure with his long slender fingers and smiled at the feeling.
Taehyung looked up into the mirror and saw the ravenette standing a few steps away from him. He was looking at his stomach with a stoic face but his eyes were shining in admiration. When Jungkook finally glanced up his eyes locked with Taehyung's. Both their hearts started beating loudly but none of them was aware of the effect they had on each other.
They kept on gazing through the mirror and when it became a little awkward they looked away with their burning red cheeks. Jungkook cleared his throat to gain Taehyung's attention again and said "Get ready quickly. We'll leave in an hour." Taehyung nodded at that and when the ravenette left the room he sighed in relief.
Eyeing his flustered state in the mirror he smiled dorkily. He felt so happy lately. The past months had been quite good for him. His family no longer treated him like an outcast. Although they still didn't talk to him yet they had been taking very good care of his health. Also his relationship with Jungkook had been blooming beautifully.
They would cuddle every night and sometimes talk a little too. The ravenette was taking care of each and every of his needs. The most amusing thing about the entire situation was Jungkook's excuses. He would always shower Taehyung with gifts and food and then tell him that he was doing it 'just for the baby'. It was the only excuse he would give while Taehyung did his very best to not tease him about it.

His life had finally started getting better. The little ray of hope inside him had slowly started blowing away the clouds of misery from their lives and he just couldn't wait for it to get even better.
The Jeons arrived at the venue and entered inside only to get mesmerised by the interiors of the place. It felt like entering inside a fantasy book. The place was nothing less than a castle. There were many people around already waiting for the evening to begin.
Slowly they started greeting all the guests with Taehyung sticking to Jungkook throughout. The greetings and small talks continued for long and Taehyung started getting bored out of his wits. His pregnancy hormones had made him very moody and he felt like throwing a tantrum at the very moment but looking around he decided against it.
Suddenly his hand was grabbed gently and he was led to a table. "Sit here and have something. Don't drink alcohol though. Hmm." Jungkook made him sit and crouched beside him. He very lightly caressed Taehyung's stomach before standing up and walking away from there.
"Ladies and gentlemen may I have your attention please." The ravenette said as he mounted and stage with a mic in one hand and a wine glass in the other. The murmuring and music stopped as all attention went to the handsome man on the stage. "I'm so grateful that all of you decided to join us today. Our company AD Corp. has successfully gained the fifth position in the country this month and it is all because of your efforts. You have been supporting us since long and now the hardwork has finally started paying off. We'll soon be able to get the number one position if we continue with the same pace and fervor. So today let's cheer to our hardwork and efforts. Let's cheer to the new hope and happiness in life." His eyes locked with Taehyung's as he spoke the last line. The said boy smiled at that and his hand went towards his stomach. A reflex he had developed in these days.

Everyone cheered at the heartfelt toast of their leader. "Let's enjoy the night." Saying this the ravenette stepped down from the stage and the music started again. He made his way towards the table were Taehyung was and saw him eating the food happily.
He smiled unknowingly but before he could approach his husband he was dragged to a corner by someone. "Jackson? What the hell are you upto now?" He asked glaring at the man infront of him.
"Calm down a little. I wanted to talk to you." Jackson said. "What is it?" The ravenette asked crossing his arms over his chest. "The Kim Corporation wants to make a deal with us. A letter came in today. It's about the pharmaceutical division of our company." Jackson informed.
"So why are you asking me. You're the CEO and you know what to do. Right?" Jungkook said clearly annoyed. "I'm the fake CEO Jungkook. I'm the CEO because you don't want Han-Gyoel to know that AD Corp. is yours but you have to still make the decisions. I'm asking this because Taehyung knows that the company is your's. If we make this deal will it be safe?" Jackson was really not happy about the entire situation.
"Don't beat about the bush Jackson. Come to the point." Jungkook was not able to comprehend the actual meaning behind his friend's words and it was really bothering him now. The said man sighed in defeat. "I'll be honest then. I don't trust your husband. What if he helps his father again and ruins this company as well? So I was thinking we shouldn't make the deal."
"Go forward with the deal Jackson. Everything is going according to our plan. We can overthrow the Kim Corporation if things keep happening this way. So don't let these doubtful thoughts ruin the plan." Jungkook said even though he himself was not sure about his feelings on this matter.
Jackson nodded his head and sighed out of frustration. "Go enjoy the party now. I'll take care of it." Jungkook turned around and started to walk away but stopped when he heard Jackson's next words.
"I hope this feeling of revenge in your heart doesn't ruin things for you Kook."

First RE:Guards
Status: Never to return again in this form (But the characters shall appear in a rewrite) I used to be a fire fighter. The requirements were easy enough with today's technology. Machines did the heavy lifting. Artificial intelligences put together action plans with the greatest resolution possible. Most days were simple jobs, first aid on minor fires, cats stuck in pipes too fine for machines, or when alarms went off that normal security scans couldn't eliminate. Most of the time our only skill was being willing to go into dangerous areas and follow orders, only I died running into the latest in biological terror. A beast that spawned fire. I remember the pain, it overwhelmed everything. Now I've woken in a new sort of existence. One where the only creature to view is a little girl, and she needs my help. Isabella Brand. Izzy, my one light in world of darkness and pain. She has the makings of a mage in her world and I'm going to be her spirit animal.
