《The Retribution Contract》17.

Jungkook was not the naive boy anymore. If such a situation had arised two years ago then he would have definitely gone berserk but not this time. The contract had been made with all possibilities in mind and there were clauses that Jungkook was sure Han-Gyoel was unaware of.
"You did read the contract right?" Jungkook asked looking at the man who had an overly confident look on his face. The said man nodded agreeing to the former. "Then you would surely know that it will be Taehyung's choice now."
Hearing the words Han-Gyoel suddenly felt uneasy. "What do you mean by that?" he asked looking into the ravenette's eyes. "If Taehyung decides to divorce me then he'll return to you but if not then he stays with me. That's what's mentioned in the contract." Jungkook had such a sure look in his eyes that Han-Gyoel couldn't help but feel the confidence drain out of his body.
He narrowed his eyes trying to look intimidating and said. "As if he'll stay with you. You married him just for revenge Jeon. If I was not in a difficult situation then I wouldn't have married my beloved son to you." The word beloved sounded so strained and forced that even Jungkook winced hearing it. He didn't know why but suddenly he wanted the man out of his sight.
"Get the hell out of here now Kim. Come to my mansion tomorrow. Taehyung will decide for himself and only then will the decision be taken." Jungkook said taking out a nearby chair and sitting on it. "Also kindly take your a*shole of a son with you." He pointed towards the now unconscious Ki-joon.
Han-Gyoel just scoffed and clapped his hands. Soon two men entered inside and took Ki-joon with them. "I'll take my second son tomorrow Jeon. And if you've forgotten then let me remind you. Two years ago he chose me over your pathetic self. So prepare yourself again. Also when I have my son back you're definitely paying for this humiliation." Saying this he turned around and walked away leaving behind a seething Jungkook.

Once Han-Gyoel was out of sight the ravenette got up from his seat furiously and flipped the table making the glass top shatter. The noise made everyone around him flinch and step back. "Jungkook please calm down. Just breathe." Namjoon came towards the worked up ravenette and gently stroked his back.
"H...Hyung what if he leaves me again?" Jungkook looked at Namjoon with his red eyes. The pain and insecurity in them broke something inside the taller one as well. "If he is genuinely sorry Kook. If his apologies were even one percent genuine then he won't leave you." He said trying to console Jungkook.
"But Han-Gyoel didn't lie. He chose his father over me. He chose him over us back then. It will not be a surprise if he chose him again." A tear made it's way out of his left eye. A tear or sadness. He didn't want to lose him again. He didn't want to lose his child. A happiness he had not even experienced yet. "Did I do something wrong hyung? Was I too stupid?" His voice was so unsure that all of the others just wanted to take his pains away.
"No you didn't. You did the right thing Kook. Everything was right." Jimin said coming forward. Looking into the broken pair of eyes he continued "Your happiness won't be taken away from you. This time I have a feeling that Taehyung will choose you for sure."
Jungkook just nodded hearing the words. Unsurety, anxiety and bad memories were clouding his mind but there was still a spark of hope in his heart. A spark enough to keep him sane. A spark enough to promise him some happiness in his dark life.
"I'll stay in my room. I don't want to cause you trouble Kook." Taehyung said as the ravenette lowered him onto the big bed. "The doctor has asked me to take special care of you so you're staying in this room for the time being. And that's an order." Taehyung just smiled at the words. Jungkook's face and voice was devoid of any emotion but Taehyung could look right through him. The jet black eyes of his husband held so many emotions in them. Taehyung just kept looking into those eyes while his heart was busy dancing to it's own melody of joy.

"It's all for my child. Do not get the wrong ideas. I hat...." "Sir! The ice cream you asked for." The voice of a maid cut him off in between. The two boys looked towards the door and found Miss Han Taehyung's newly appointed caretaker/nurse standing there with a gentle smile on her face. Jungkook gestured her to give the bowl to Taehyung and the lady did as told.
Once she left Taehyung looked up to face the ravenette with a teasing expression and said. "How can you hate me this much Kook? How can you hate me enough to give me my favourite ice cream?" Hearing him Jungkook just rolled his eyes. "It's just to fulfil your cravings. Don't..." "Get any wrong ideas. I know." Taehyung said cutting him off and took a spoon of the pink wonder into his mouth. He moaned at the taste and Jungkook's lips automatically twitched up in a small smile looking at his husband's satisfied expression.
"Finish it and take a good sleep. It's important for the baby." Saying this the ravenette dashed out of the room not forgetting to close the door. Giving Taehyung some well deserved privacy.
Taehyung gave out a heart laugh at his husband's antics and leaned back with a dreamy look on his face. Not even a day since their little melon came into their world and they were already having such good affirmations in their relationship. He was feeling his old cheerful self again. And he wanted this feeling to stay forever.

8 185Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.
