Jungkook was numb at the moment. His worries were killing him from the inside. It was the second time Taehyung was in a situation like this. So weak and senseless. He should have been happy right? His revenge was finally getting fulfilled. Taehyung was in pain just like he was and is. Then why did he feel like dying? He just couldn't understand his own self now. His heart and mind were confusing him.

Sitting outside the hospital room he was waiting for the doctor to give him some information on Taehyung. Taehyung's heart is weak. What if... What if... No! No! That can't happen. All these thoughts were torturing him and he knew that it wouldn't stop till he gets to see Taehyung with his own eyes.

"Jungkook?" Ji-ung's voice brought him out of his serpentine thoughts. He looked up to see Ji-ung sitting across and looking right at him. "I don't know if you are interested to hear this or not but I want to let you know. One year ago Taehyung had suffered from a heart attack. Ki-joon had tried to r*pe him back then too. It was worse than today. I somehow saved him that day but the shock was too much for him. I don't know how he is right now but just...... just be with him. Keep your hatred aside for sometime and please help him. I beg you." Ji-ung's breaking voice and glassy eyes were breaking Jungkook's heart too.

He was about to say something but the doctor's arrival took their attention immediately. "Mr. Jeon your husband had a panic attack but he is fine now." the doctor informed. "What about his heart Hyunsik? There's no complication right?" Jungkook asked. His voice was full of anxiety and restlessness.

Hyunsik sighed. "Since you know about it I'll be completely honest. If this continues.. I mean if he keeps on having such panic attacks then I'm sorry but his heart won't last him even for a year. So try to create a stress free environment for your husband Mr. Jeon." Hearing these words the ravenette's hand started shaking. His restlessness was reaching its peak.

"Have you....." but before he could say more Hyunsik cut him off. "Yes Mr. Jeon. It's your hospital. Everything you say is taken very seriously. You don't have to worry. Your husband's name is on the top of the list for the heart recipients. Whenever we get a heart he'll be the first one to get the transplant." Jungkook just nodded hearing that. Yes! The day he came to know about Taehyung's condition he had called Hyunsik and had asked for the details. He had also instructed him to make Taehyung the first heart recipient. He hadn't told anyone about it and he wanted it to stay that way.

"Thank you Jungkook. You're the same. Taehyung was right." He heard Ji-ung's voice but did not look at him. He didn't want to let go of his cold facade so he kept on looking at the doctor instead who was going through Taehyung's health reports.

"Mr. Jeon." Hyunsik called him out again with a slightly happy voice. Jungkook looked at him as a sudden hope bloomed in him. "There's a happy news too. Congratulations your husband is two weeks pregnant." Hyunsik said with a big smile on his face.

Jungkook was frozen. Was he hearing it right? Pregnant? He's going to be a dad. Thinking all this tears made their way down his cheeks. Happiness. That's what he felt after so long. Hope. That's what he felt after so long. Why was it like this? The reason for his pains was also his cure. Taehyung somehow ended up making him the happiest.

Without wasting another minute outside he barged into the room Taehyung was in. Entering inside he saw the boy sleeping peacefully with his hand resting on his stomach. Jungkook's lips unknowingly turned upwards in a small smile. He took long strides towards his husband and took a seat beside the bed. Taking Taehyung's hand in his own he bent forward and kissed his stomach.

"Hey there little one. I'm your Dad. Grow up quickly. Hmm. I love you so much." Saying this he kept his head on his husband's stomach trying to live the moment. He was so happy. So damn happy. His life had decided to give him some happiness after so long and he was over the moon now. He didn't even notice the two tired eyes that were looking at him. He didn't notice how his husband's lips curled up in a weak smile looking at the cute interaction.

After sometime Jungkook sat up straight only to find Taehyung looking at him. He immediately let go of his hand and put on his cold expression again. "Thank you Kook. Thank you for saving me." The boy said and tried to sit up as well. Jungkook sighed seeing his struggle and helped him up. Taehyung couldn't help but smile. He could clearly see the concern and love behind Jungkook's cold facade.

"I'm doing all this for my child. Don't get the wrong ideas. You don't matter to me. But if I want my child to be healthy then I have to take care of you. It's an obligation. Nothing more nothing less." the ravenette spat out while sitting on the chair again.

"I know. I know. You don't have to explain yourself." Taehyung said with a teasing smile on his face. He couldn't help but feel himself again after so long. He felt happy. Extremely happy. He and Jungkook were taking another step in their life together. A positive step. Something that was surely going to change their life for the better.

He kept on looking at Jungkook with a twinkle on his face. His hand made its way towards his stomach gently caressing it. Jungkook too was looking at him and only him. His eyes went towards the boy's stomach and his lips curled up in a small contented smile.

Looking up his eyes locked with Taehyung's and for the first time in a month both of them looked at each other with a smile on their countenance.
