《The Retribution Contract》4.

The icy water took his breath away bringing him out of his not so peaceful sleep. He looked around surprised and saw his husband standing infront of him with a bucket in hand. "Get the f*ck up. You are no longer your father's prince so learn to be up early. Get ready and then come upstairs to my office. We have some talking to do. I'm giving you an hour." the ravenette said pointing his finger at Taehyung with each word that came out of his mouth and then he left the room immediately.
With an open mouth Taehyung kept on looking at Jungkook's retreating back. Once the ravenette was out of sight and his footsteps were no longer audible he slowly got out of bed and went towards the bathroom. After doing his morning routine he came out and wore a loose cerulean shirt. He then tucked it in his beige pants and dried his wet hair.
Giving his fluffy hair one last brush he glanced at himself in the mirror and smiled a little. He looked good for the first day in his new house after his so called wedding. Yes! People would call him desperate but he didn't care. For Jungkook this wedding might just be a passport for his revenge but for him it meant alot. He didn't know why but the fact that he was married to the man he loved was making his stomach do happy flips. He had decided to do everything in his power in order to make them forgive him.
Once he was completely ready he looked at the clock to see that it was 7:30 am. He still had half an hour left so he decided to stay in the room itself because he was not in the mood to face the Jeons so early in the morning. He slowly made his way towards the window. He opened it letting the cool morning air inside. He closed is eyes breathing in the fresh air and sighed in relief.

Suddenly he remembered the way Jungkook had woken him up this morning. The cold water had brought back a memory with it. A memory that lead his lips to turn upwards in a small smile.
The university students were now standing infront of the lake all ready to dive in. The camping so far had been amazing. Though Taehyung was not very excited today. He was scared out of his wits to be more precise.
Jungkook and the others were on the other side of the lake swimming and enjoying while he was sitting in the shade alone. But it was not his fault that he didn't know how to swim. He had always been scared of water and had therefore never tried to swim.
Taehyung was looking at his friends who were having quite a lot of fun at the far end of the lake when he heard the voice he probably hated the most. "Kim Taehyung. Why don't you join the others?" Aera said in her iconic fake accent. Taehyung didn't want to answer the girl so he simply looked away.
Aera was the rich girl who always had her eyes on Jungkook and when he came in a relationship with Taehyung she didn't like it even a bit. She had tried to humiliate and bully Taehyung at every chance available. The latter had never told Jungkook about this but now he was surely regretting it.
"Don't answer me then. Jackson!" Taehyung heard her voice again but didn't bother to look up. Suddenly he was forcefully made to stand and before he could even react his body came in contact with the water.
It was all so sudden. The first breath and his lungs were already filled with water. He was trying to move his limbs but nothing seemed to work. He struggled as much as he could but eventually his body gave up. His limp body started descending to the bottom of the lake and he couldn't help but think about Jungkook.

Then suddenly Taehyung felt himself being pulled up but his senses were not working properly. He could now feel the air around and some distant voices calling for him. He so badly wanted to tell them that he couldn't breathe but no words came out of his mouth. Then miraculously he felt some pressure on his chest and then a mouth against his own.
The next second he was hurling out all the water while someone had already titled him to his side and was rubbing his back soothingly. Once he could feel himself again Taehyung looked at his savior only to find Jungkook looking at him with concern. He gave a small smile to his boyfriend who quickly pulled him up in his arms. The ravenette started giving Taehyung butterfly kisses all over his face muttering 'Thank gods' and earning a weak giggle from the other.
Jungkook had then carried him back to the camping site but don't worry he didn't forget to do the main thing. He had beaten the sh*t out of Jackson before going back from that place.
It was night time now. The two boys were cuddling together but none of them were able to sleep. Jungkook looked at the boy who had buried his head into his chest and smiled a little at the cute gesture. "Tae. I want to take you somewhere." he said softly. Taehyung just looked at him in surprise and nodded his head.
Soon they both were standing infront of the same lake. The full moon night and the air around made the entire place so heavenly. Jungkook slowly led Taehyung into the water and the latter didn't retaliate even once. Once they were in deep waters Jungkook stopped swimming.
He gently held Taehyung's waist while the other's arms were around his neck. He looked at the petite boy and then smiled. "1...2...and 3" he whispered and then went into the water. Surprisingly Taehyung was not scared at all. Rather he enjoyed this new experience a lot.
After some seconds they came out of the water panting and joined there foreheads. They had huge smiles on their faces and their hearts were beating at an animalistic pace.
None of them could ever forget this night. The two lovers alone in the middle of a big moonlit lake with nothing but their ecstatic souls.

Apostasy - The Lost History of Goge Vandire (A Warhammer 40,000 fan fiction)
DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...
