《The Retribution Contract》2.

Taehyung woke up with a heavy feeling in his chest. A groan escaped his lips when he tried to sit up straight. "Welcome back to the land of the living." he heard Jiung say and then felt two arms helping him sit up properly. When his blurry vision finally cleared he looked around and saw that he was in his own room.
"What happened?" he inquired from Jiung who was sitting on a chair next to his bed. "You fainted in the arms of your ex lover." he said in a cold voice. Hearing Jiung's words everything that had happened a few hours ago came back to the boy's mind like a flash. Jungkook. His hyungs. His soulmate. The contract. The marriage. Taehyung's eyes widened and he looked at his cousin in pure horror.
Jiung sighed looking at the terrorised face of the boy and said "You'll get married to him tomorrow. In return Asmodeus will never initiate any attack on the Kim mafia. They will also give your father money for every property destroyed by them." Taehyung just nodded his head too stunned to say a word. The purpose behind Jungkook marrying him was clear to him and it was just breaking his heart more and more.
"Taehyung just run away from here." Jiung's words brought him out of his trance. He looked at the other with confusion and sadness. "I can't hyung." Hearing this Jiung scoffed "He will just take his revenge Tae. You have to run away before your life gets destroyed."
"My life already got destroyed two years ago." Taehyung said looking at the wall blankly. "I've been just a puppet. When was I even living that you're so scared for me? If Jungkook wants to take his revenge then so be it. I'll take everything he throws my way. Atleast I'll be able to see him and the others everyday. I'll be more than happy to suffer if that means that they would be at peace. It's alright as long as Jungkook is happy." Tears were already flowing freely from his eyes. The pain from the incident never seemed to let go of Taehyung. It broke him everytime. But of course he was absolutely fine with it. It was okay and he could do it. Although this time he didn't know what he was going to do in the future. He was blank. Perhaps it was a chance for his life to change for the better. Or maybe worse?

Dressed in a white button up shirt and a white pant. His wavy hair falling onto his forehead beautifully. His big brown eyes and rosy lips. He just looked perfect standing there. An angel standing at the altar with a devil dressed in black in front of him. A devil who once was an angel too.
Do you take Kim Taehyung as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
He heard the priest say and then looked at Jungkook who was already looking at him with an intense gaze.
"I do." the ravenette said looking straight in his eyes.
Do you take Jeon Jungkook as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
Hearing this he gulped the lump in his throat and then took a deep breath before saying "I d..do."
The next second he was pulled by the mafia leader and then his lips were captured in a hungry kiss. It did surprise him but feeling those soft lips against his own after so long made him fall in love all over again. But who was he lying to. He never got over the beautiful man infront of him. He gave into the kiss moving along the ravenette's passive aggressive movements. A lone tear escaped his eyes showing how hungry he was for this warmth. But the warmth did not last long as the ravenette pulled away and then quickly walked down the aisle leaving a frozen Taehyung behind.

The car stopped infront of a huge mansion. Taehyung was a bundle of nerves as he got out of the car and followed behind his husband. They entered into the huge manor. The place that was going to be his future home. There in the parlour he saw Jeon Han-na and Jeon Pildo sitting on the couch looking at some papers. Not just them but his friends were there too. He was busy looking around and he didn't even see that Jungkook had already taken a seat beside the others.
"Welcome to the Jeon mansion Kim Taehyung." the ravenette's cold voice caught his attention bringing him back to the reality. He timidly glanced at the people ahead who now looked like nothing but strangers to him. "What? Are you not going to say something?" Jungkook said getting up and taking long strides in the boy's direction. Seeing the furious man walking towards him, Taehyung took a few steps back. He looked at the floor when he felt the ravenette's presense near him. Suddenly he was harshly held by the jaw forcing him to look right into those jet black eyes. "Don't try to be a victim here Kim Taehyung. Everyone you see in this room has once suffered and that too because of a betrayer. YOU. YOU ARE THAT F*CKING BETRAYER. YOU ONCE DESTROYED US AND NOW....... I'll destroy you." Jungkook said whispering the last part with nothing but poison in his voice.
Taehyung was already crying by now. His hands were shaking and his heart was beating at an animalistic pace. When Jungkook released his hold on him his knees immediately gave up and he fell onto the floor crying hard. No words could define how broken he felt at the moment. He looked up to see the others looking at him with their cold gaze. Mustering up his strength and courage he got up and took a glimpse of Jungkook who was now sitting beside his father. He took a shaky breath and looked right into those black eyes. He took a deep breath before saying the first words that came to his mind.
"If all the unseen sacrifices made were noticed many relations would still be intact."

2nd Chance
It's my first time writing a story so you might spot a lot of amateur mistakes but feel free to criticize my writing as much as you like. Anyways, to give you a quick idea of what the story is all about, the original title of this novel was supposed to be "The Yankee in Another World" but when I thought about writing that in the cover I immediately thought 'HELL NAW' and went with a different one and I feel like the new title captures the essence of this story more. because although it's categorized as an Isekai, the story is more focused on redemption rather than the Isekai fantasy. Hopefully, I'll be able to update this synopsis once I thought of one.
