《Manly Lady ✓》2.

✿
he stared at the mirror one afternoon to admire the beauty on it, trying to flirt with the beauty, throwing the fact that the beauty on the mirror is himself at the back of his mind, he look exactly like in a crazy mental state as he asked a question and answered it himself, alternating between a melodic voice of a female and a manly voice of a male.
“Zhilan... Zhilan...”
Yan Gen muttered that name over and over again. He likes the sound of this girl's name. Having possessed this curvy body of hers for days now, of course he would know her name, Zhilan, surname Wei. Wei Zhilan, a jade like beauty.
Apparently, from what he heard from his pretty maids, she's the legitimate daughter of the Ministry of Revenue. Her pops must be super powerful and super rich to become the Ministry of Revenue. To get that high up position, one must relay on family connection or pure talent. Well, Yan Gen doubt that her dad is the latter, to use pure talent to get that position will take years to prove yourself and the current Minister of Revenue had obviously relied on their clan's power for he became the Minister of Revenue at such a young age of 21, and he's been holding that position for more than 20 years now.
The Wei clan has a very good grasp of power, when they're almost losing their political power due to an intense cold war with the other powerful clans. They used a young girl to regain their former glory. Yes, a young girl was all it takes to ascend to the high up heavens again. That young girl is no ordinary girl. Have you ever heard of the phrase “A beauty that can topple cities and empire”? Scholars said that the first time seeing her, this will be the first phrase that will come up in your mind.
A calamitous beauty to be precise. Fifteen years ago, this Zhilan's father was actually going to be fired out of his position because of the corruption issues revealed by the Minister of investigations, which turns out to be his mortal enemy. Yan Gen doesn't know if the ‘corruption’ issues was true or just made up to bring the Wei clan down.
Because of the grievous situation they're in, the Wei clan gathered for a meeting. Hearing suggestions and whatnot from one another, the only thing they could think of as the most effective solution to all this was not to lay down or offer a truce to the other powerful clans, now that they have made so many enemies from left to right after offending some high-up officials by the other clan members due to their arrogance, offering a truce from those clans means lowering their heads to them and that will only shame the whole Wei clan.

They're also a century old noble clan and they took pride in that. How could they lower their heads to them when they're not the sovereign of this Empire?
The Wei clan is known because of many high-ranking officials carrying the surname of Wei. However, the Weis are more known to have beautiful female members.
Forty years ago, the previous emperor's most favored consort is also a Wei. Although the Wei clan is already powerful enough to push themselves in court, their political power flourished because of the woman they send in the inner court. That explains why there are so many high-ranking officials with the surname Wei, the late emperor must have favored Consort Wei too much. Now that their supporter was long gone, the clan started faltering, they were demoted and the old high ranking officials from Wei clan were replaced by those scholars who topped the Imperial examination, and the previous offenses that they've committed are now pointing at them.
In order to regain their former glory in court, they have once again decided to use the so called ‘Honey trap’ to appease the emperor and get back their foothold in court, and that is Minister Wei's younger sister. Another Consort Wei was send in the Emperor's inner court to repeat the history.
This monarch doesn't listen much to his Grand Imperial Tutor, does he? Didn't he heard of the proverb ‘the scholar builds the cities, the woman knocks them down’
Just as what they've expected, Consort Wei became the Emperor's favorite in a short amount of time, and the Wei clan has been reaping the benefits of it.
I say that this clan is full of greedy and shrewd creatures. The villains in a drama.
Actually, Yan Gen became the biggest villain, but because he's a bit slow, he didn't realized it until today. Heavens couldn't be any more cruel to him, as if being a woman is not hard enough. Unexpectedly, Yan Gen was so calm about it when he realized that this body that he's possessing is the greatest villain in a cliché novel, entitled “Mischievous Consort”. In his point of view, what is more worst than being a woman? He will be happily become a villain as long as he's still a man. Becoming a woman and the villain of the story, it makes no difference to him if he's the villain or not. The important matter is his sex!

‘Mischievous Consort’ is the title of the novel he had transmigrated into, and the title says it all. The female lead named Li Mei, is a very mischievous girl, she's the legitimate daughter of a third rank official. She would occasionally go out of the Li estate to have fun outside. For Yan Gen, this female lead doesn't leave a very good impression to readers, at least to him, don't know if the other readers of that novel like that idiotic female lead so far.
She's simply stupid, a stupid girl who only knows how to have fun, to go on dangerous adventures without using her brain, if the male lead or the second male lead wasn't there to come to her rescue, she'll be dead by then.
An airhead who doesn't know anything in politics, viewing the government as one who should treat the commoners well, instead of leaving them to starve (That's true so I wouldn't comment on it much). Those officials who did the latter were criticized by her, and because she's so famous to the commoners due to her very kind heart, always helping them when they're in distress, her words made a great impact, causing the commoners to rebel. He doesn't remember the exact words but her line was this way
‘Those officials eat to their hearts content, feeling warm in their homes while the commoners starve and die of coldness’
Why not the rich merchants who owned lands and businesses? Though they aren't responsible for the government affairs, most of these rich merchants tricked the commoners and the officials, even going as far as to steal lands from those illiterate peasants to expand or build a new business. She talked as if she knows every thing, when clearly she also belongs to those who stayed warm in their homes and have proper meals. She has no problems in her living condition that is why she said all those idiotic words.
Zhu Ming Li is the male lead, he's the fifth prince, the youngest son of the emperor while the second male lead is Zhu Deming, he's the first prince, and obviously the eldest son of the emperor. The villain which is obviously him now, is Wei Zhi Lan.
Honestly, in most of the novels, dramas or mangas, etc... the villain is more beautiful than the protagonist. There are only few of those protagonists who are more beautiful than the antagonists, or at least in those he watched and read. That's probably where they get their arrogance and haughtiness. Perhaps this is also to prove that beauty is not everything in a woman, what's more important is their attitude and personality, yet in real life, it's always about physical appearance. He had witnessed those who literally become slaves to their goodlooking lovers, doesn't matter if they don't have a very good attitude and personality, they're ready to do anything for a beauty.
And the poor him... aye, let's not continue throwing more insults at him, he already has it tough.
Frankly speaking, he doesn't like that novel, harem is still his favorite, not the reverse harem .If he didn't finished all those harem novels of his, he wouldn't even glance at that worthless yet popular novel, but at that time he suddenly had an urge to read something different from the usual thing he read, and because that novel is so worthless, he only reads chapter 1 to 3, read another chapter in the middle (he forgot what specific number of chapter it is), and jump to the ending.
Of all the novels he had read, why did he transmigrated into this shitty one? Why didn't he transmigrated into one of his favorite wuxia novels? Why?!
Maybe because ‘Mischievous Consort’ was the last novel he read before he died, if only he knew that was the case. He would have read his favorite novels that he wants to transmigrate into for a thousand times.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
