was the story that I enjoyed writing the most because in all honesty, this was the only story that I've written that really didn't give me much of a headache.

SSRO2: is, as you may all know, a book that I made solely to thank the readers who read the first book. The ending of SSRO1 was supposed to be the official ending of the whole story, but a lot of my readers wanted to see how Dane and Damien's story would continue, so I wrote SSRO2.

To make this a little unique, I'll be explaining Book I and Book II for you guys to further understand the whole story.

Well it's more of me just simply talking about it and giving you guys how the story came about. Hopefully you enjoy.

(BOOK I)

Book one was basically just a story that I did on a whim. If you guys aren't aware, in the past, I have been an author who does mature fantasy/action/paranormal/mystery stories. I never really wrote a pure romance book because it wasn't my thing. So for eight years, I have been practicing and perfecting those types of genres.

But one day, as I was staring at my dog, I looked at my sister and asked, "What if our dog turned into a human?" and that was basically it. Sit, Stay, Roll Over was born.

Sit, Stay, Roll Over was also a story that felt personal to me because this was the first story that had a character that was somehow close to my personality, which was Dane. The Dane that isn't serious and actually stupid is basically me, which was why it was fun writing his POV.

I also made a lot of titles before Sit, Stay, Roll Over made it to the final cut. I don't quite remember most of them but I do recall that there was Daddy's Pet and A Man's Best Friend as one of my few title options.

It was my first time to write a story that had a daddy-ish feel to it as well. I wasn't good at writing cute stories but that's how I wanted SSRO to become to further widen my story genres. (But we all know how that went down).

Now for the characters...

Hunter aka Damien was supposed to be a REAL dog that will really turn into a human. But then I thought that it would be just another shapeshifting story. So I just made a logical explanation about the 'dog turned human' event that Dane somehow 'witnessed.'

Some were also confused but to explain it better, Damien went on a major transformation to look and act like a dog. His fangs was done surgically, the growling was also trained to him, and actually, I was planning to make Damien have brown eyes before, and since Siberian Husky's have blue eyes, he was operated to have one. But I changed that and just made Hael pick Damien to have a Siberian husky counterpart because of his blue eyes.

And believe it or not, Dane was supposed to be WAY younger than he originally is in the story. I was planning to make him a college student where Todd would be his other love interest, but then I thought it would have been better if Todd was from his past, and that Dane would be a working man to make him a lot more mature.

Dane's personality was also supposed to be a rather fun type of character who isn't serious with life, but that personality was transferred to Todd. So I made Dane the mature character so he and Damien's personality would clash better.

And there were a lot who pointed out that SSRO was similar to a manga (?) that was also about a man who got dumped and received a Siberian husky. In all honesty, I have not read that story and I did not even know it existed. I'm here to honestly tell you guys, and I'll even kneel in front of you if needed, that I did not copy that story (because some assumed that I did). I guess it was purely coincidental, and the fact that the dog was also a Siberian husky made it really look like I did.

But I picked the Siberian Husky because my sister loves that dog, and if it weren't, the dog would have been totally different.

Some also asked me why Damien didn't just go to Dane if he wasn't really in prison. WELL Damien was in house arrest, and was heavily guarded. He was fixing his case and there was a 50% chance that he'd lose and actually be sent to prison, which was why he didn't want to contact Dane until he was a hundred percent sure that he'll be free. He didn't want Dane to suffer if ever he does get sentenced to a lifetime in prison.

I guess that's all for Book I.

(BOOK II)

Okay, Daddy's Home was very new to me. It was my first time to make a story that focused on a single relationship.

As we all know Daddy's Home focused on Dane and Damien's relationship after the shit went down with the Association. I wanted you guys to see how it would be like after, which was why I made this.

Honestly, I had plans to make this action-y too like the first book. Like the Association went back, then they were after Dane and Damien again, then Dane would be kidnapped... you know, crazy shit like that.

But of course, that didn't happen. And I'm actually glad that I didn't continue it like that.

The start of the story was a little bit shocking since that was Dane and Damien's first couple-fight. And I decided that jealousy would be one of the main reasons why they'd be fighting because that's one of the main reasons why couples fight and sometimes, breakup.

The whole story was then focused on another personal event that happened to my life.

Daddy's Home rotated around Dane and Damien's outing/road trip. I got that inspiration because we had a family outing, then I looked at my sister again and asked, "What if we made a road trip story?"

It was supposed to be for a completely different story, but I decided that it's best if I add it to Daddy's Home instead.

The decision to go to Dane's hometown also had a hidden personal meaning.

During the time that I was writing Daddy's Home, I was heading back to my hometown, so, I thought that it would be super fun if Dane gets to go back to his family's hometown as well.

There was also a .5 chapter where Damien talked to Dane's grandmother Andrea to ask for Dane's hand in marriage. Believe it or not, it was supposed to be a chapter where Damien actually talked to Todd Cooper, not Andrea.

Damien was going to ask Todd what Dane would want in a proposal since Todd is his best friend and knows a lot about him. And he was going to ask what he was supposed to do since Damien was going to propose to Dane again. But I changed that and made it into Andrea instead because I felt that it would have been more sentimental.

Then there's Dane and Damien's daughter, Daniela. Daniela is an actual daughter of Dane, or to be more specific, she is a surrogate child. To those who don't know, a surrogate child is when the doctor takes a man's sperm, injects in inside the woman, and carry the child until the baby is born.

So basically Dane shares the same blood as their daughter.

And finally, about the connection with 'Toys For The Big Boys'. I know not a lot has read it yet, but for the sake of those who did, here's my explanation.

Romeo and Julien's story finished WAY before Dane and Damien even met. A lot were also confused but if you guys remembered, Romeo mentioned that every time it's Bryson's birthday, Bryson would bring Romeo to places that Bryson regularly goes to, and during that time, it was Companion's Association.

You guys got confused on how Romeo and his family was able to attend the wedding, which was why I made the special chapter on how they first met.

AND you guys asked if they fucked, well, they didn't. Because like what Johnson said during that time, Romeo wasn't gay, and he had a MAJOR OCD problem. They purely just talked to each other for thirty minutes so Romeo could see why Bryson is obsessed with these said 'Companions'.

And to explain a specific scene, the part where Johnson looked like he knew about the eye cameras. Well...he kinda did. Since Romeo and his family had a lot of connections, Johnson researched about the Association beforehand and knew who the Big Dogs were since they're from the 'underground business' as well.

Romeo and his family basically didn't care about the Association, but the Association knew about the Valentino's background as well so they never tried doing anything to them.

Romeo and Damien didn't talk to each other after their meeting since shit happened to both of them. After their meeting, Hael died, and Romeo was busy establishing his empire.

But when Damien was starting with his own company, he remembered his encounter with Romeo and asked him to be partners with him, which was why he was in the wedding with Julien and the ten-year-old Vinnie Bornello.

And that is all for Book II.
