"Babe, let's go," Damien tells me as he carried our things from my bedroom.

I took Hunter's leash and tugged it gently so he could follow me. Before completely leaving the apartment, I stopped and looked around the place for the last time.

"Goodbye apartment," I mumbled to myself.

I've lived here for years. It's not easy to just leave all of a sudden but Damien and I have talked about this for a week, and both of us agreed that it would really be best if we moved on with everything that happened in the past.

Damien also told me that the place that we'd be moving to would be an apartment he bought when he became the supposed CEO of the Association. He explained to me that the Companion's lived at the Mansion, but since he was the new chairman, he was granted permission to move out.

And yes, he specifically told me there were no camera's there.

"Your things will be sent there tomorrow," Damien says as he puts our luggage on the trunk of the car.

I opened the back door of Damien's car; Hunter immediately getting inside like he's been inside this car a hundred times too.

Well, what would I know anyways? Damien and Hunter were trained together for years.

"Is it far from here?" I asked as I closed the door for Hunter. I sat on the passenger seat while Damien sat on the driver's seat.

When everything was finally settled, he answered me, "A little bit. My apartment is located in the busiest part of the city, and it's near the building where I'm going to start the host club."

"Host club...so like, people will go to the club and the Companion's will...flirt with them?" I confusingly asked since I don't really get what Damien wants yet.

Damien chuckles and answers my question, "Well it kinda is, but no more forcing, or going home with the customers, just drinking, casual talks, and yes, a little flirting. My main goal is still like what Hael wanted, but now it's open for everyone, not just for the rich."

I nodded my head as an understanding, then I looked out the window and asked him another question, "You told me you're going to hire a driver for me since EXRay Media is now farther away from where you live, and you also told me you'd hire a cook. Does that mean I won't get to see you often? Is that it?"

I heard Damien take a deep breath, but he doesn't answer me right ahead.

Since both of us are now working, I understand that both of us would end up being busy. But I can't help but feel that it's unfair. When I was working and Damien was just staying at home, I made sure I'd be able to eat with him three times a day and even free my time just to be with him. It's unfair because Damien seems like he's so prepared about being busy all the time that he has plans like having cooks and telling me to just go to sleep if ever he's not home yet. We've been apart for five years for Pete's sake; I did not want him to return just so we could end up having a relationship like that.

"I'm sorry Dane," he finally answers me.

"I still have a lot to work on so I could successfully start the business. I already have my people, but there are still too many paperworks that I have to finish. But you don't have to worry, it's just for a while, it won't be forever, I promise, " he continued.

When I didn't say anything, I felt Damien grab my hand, then he squeezed it tightly, "are you mad?" he asked.

I shook my head and looked back at him, "No, I will never be mad. You do what you have to do. Don't worry about me," I answered with a forced smile.

Damien nods his head and kisses my hand.

I took a deep breath and looked out the car window again while my hand was still intertwined with Damien.

Damien and I are finally in a normal relationship, facing normal couple problems.

But I can't help but feel that somehow, my relationship with him in the past was WAY better than where our relationship is heading now.

I'm scared this would just be another Todd Cooper type of relationship, but this time, I'd end up being the Todd Cooper.

"We're here," Damien suddenly tells me.

I opened my eyes and realised that the car was already parked in front of a tall building that I would usually see whenever I interview actors at this area of the city.

Damien goes out first, and then he opens the door for me.

I thank him and opened the back door to get Hunter this time.

"Welcome back sir Damien Nicholas Collins," a man suddenly tells Damien.

Damien nods his head to acknowledge him, and then he gives him the car keys, "Bring our bags to my floor," he tells him.

The man nods his head and takes the car keys.

Damien looks back at me and suddenly changed his serious expression into a smile, "Let's go," he says as grabs my hand and the three of us went inside the building.

I looked around the fancy looking place, a little shocked since I was expecting a place a little...smaller.

I know that Damien is rich, but I don't know why it never occurred to me that he'd be rich enough to buy an apartment in a building that looks like a hotel.

"Are pets even allowed here?" I asked Damien as I continued to hold his hand with my left hand while my right hand held on to Hunter's leash.

"No actually, but don't worry, I'll handle it," Damien calmly answers as we finally got inside the elevator.

Damien takes out a card and swipes it, automatically making the elevator move.

"Elevators are quite memorable don't you think?" Damien suddenly asked out of the blue.

I saw him smirking through the reflection on the elevator door, so I immediately looked back at him to hit his arm.

"You have no idea how long I've used the stairs back at the company just because of what you did," I tell him, making Damien laugh. But before he could even say anything, the door finally opens, revealing a big ass floor that obviously was not an apartment room like how Damien told me about.

"I think we're in a wrong floor," I tell him.

Damien chuckles and playfully pinches my cheeks, "That's cute. Now come on, let me tour you."

My eyes widened from shock as Damien pulled me inside the room/floor.

The whole thing is enormous. It's triple the size of my own apartment.

And when I removed Hunter's collar, he started running around the place like he's been here too, (and I won't be surprised if he has).

"You said apartment room, not a fucking penthouse!" I told him, still shocked since Damien didn't orient me properly.

"You like it?" Damien asked, gesturing at the whole place.

"T-This is...it's beautiful Damien. What else am I supposed to say?" I honestly tell him.

Damien walks towards me and hugs me tightly, "I knew it you'd like it. It has two rooms, but of course we'll share the master bedroom. And there's an office too. I used it before but you can use it now too so you wouldn't have to sit on the floor at the living room anymore."

"Which also means I don't have to fall asleep at the living room. Now I can fall asleep at a fancy office room, instead" I jokingly told him.

Damien laughs and kisses my forehead, "don't worry. I'd still carry you back to bed whether you fall asleep at the bathroom."

"That's sweet," I say with a smirk as I pulled away from him.

"So what was the key for?" I asked him with my right eyebrow raised.

"Well I wanted it to look dramatic. And besides, wouldn't it be too awkward if I handed you a card instead?" he asks back, making me laugh because I remembered the time Jonathan handed me a card at the café too.

"Come on, let's go to our room while Hunter's busy," Damien says with a smirk, grabbing my hand again and pulling me towards a room that looked ten times better than my old room.

"This looks-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, Damien pushes me towards the bed. He goes on top of me and both of us ended up laughing.

If you look at us, you wouldn't even know that we're already in our thirties.

"I hope you know that everything I'm doing is for you," Damien suddenly says, staring at me with his eyes that always made me fall in love with him.

"I know. I've always known," I answered him, reaching out for his face and touching his cheeks.

Normal relationship or not, I love this man. And whether I like it or not, I will support him and be with him for the rest of my life, because that's what he'd be willing to do for me too.

"I love you," he whispered as he leaned forward to give me a kiss.

I was about to let him kiss me but I quickly covered his mouth with my own hand to stop him.

Damien looked at me confusingly as I grinned and got off him.

I pushed him so he could lie in bed. Then I sat on top of him and stared down at him while biting my lower lip.

"Damn that's sexy," Damien says with a seductive smirk.

"I followed everything that you wanted to do yesterday, now it's my turn to take the lead," I say as I was about to remove my shirt, but before I could even do it, something suddenly buzzes.

I let go of my shirt and looked at the door, "What the hell was that?" I asked.

Damien grabbed my waist and lifted me off him so he could get out of the bed.

"Might be our luggage," Damien answers.

He looks back at me, then he suddenly bites my lower lip, "We'll continue this later", he says before going out of the bedroom.

I tried not to smile like an idiot as I followed him outside.

Damien goes in front of this small screen beside the elevator.

"Oh, it's you, come up" Damien suddenly says as he clicks a button.

I walked towards him and stood in front of the elevator.

"Was that our things?" I asked him.

Damien walks beside me and answered, "Not yet, but this is someone I really wanted you to meet."

"Really?" I asked as I waited for the elevator door to open.

I planted a smile on my face to welcome the visitor.

When the elevator finally arrived at our floor, the door opened, revealing a very pretty looking...man?!

"Chairman Hunter," the man greeted with a bright smile.

My eyes widened from shock as he approached ma man to give him a hug right in front of me.

"Max, I said address me as Damien remember?" Damien says with a smile that made me pissed because that was a smile he doesn't just give to anyone.

"Oh Max, I want to introduce to you Dane Andrew McCartney," Damien finally says.

Not to sound over possessive or anything Damien but you should have added my fiancé at the end of that sentence.

"Did you just say...McCartney?" the man suddenly asked, snapping me back to my senses.

The beautiful man Damien referred to as Max turns around to look at me.

His eyes widened from shock as he sees my face, "THE McCartney? This is Hael's nephew?"

Before Damien could answer, I nodded my head and said, "Yes, I am. And you must be?"

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know it was you. I didn't mean to be rude but I'm-"

"He's ", Damien suddenly finished for him.

Why the hell did you have to finish it for him you idiot?

"He was a companion before. I was ranked one, and Max here was rank number two. We started working at the association on the same year so both of us go way back," Damien explains to me as he casually pats Maxon's back.

I don't want to be such a jealous bitch here but I seriously do not like how Damien is just freely touching him like that.

This man looks like a sculpture.

It didn't really bother me that he looked like a god like Damien, but he's pale, has blonde hair and even has blue eyes. He's JUST LIKE ME, but fucking prettier!

You are so insecure about yourself – Inner Conscience.

Oh shut up.

"Well it's nice to meet you...Maxon," I say with a force smile, shaking his hand that surprised me even more because it was so fucking soft.

"It is an honor to finally meet you Mr. McCartney. I've heard so much about you," he says, still giving out this sweet smile that will definitely make anyone fall in love with him.

Except me of course.

And Damien. I think.

"Hopefully they're good stories," I tell him, making him chuckle, "Don't worry, they are. Chairman...I mean...Damien, told me everything."

I glanced at Damien and looked back at him, "Is that so?"

"Max, why not go to the office first, I'll join you later," Damien says.

Maxon nods his head and goes straight to a room like he's been here a couple of times like Hunter the dog.

When he was gone, I immediately looked at Damien.

"Why is he here?" I asked him.

Damien smirks and walks towards me.

"He's a close friend," he answers me instead.

"I don't fucking care if he's your brother. Why the hell is he here all of a sudden? And why aren't you asking him to leave?" I angrily asked Damien.

Damien chuckles and presses his forehead on mine.

"I can't believe this day would come..."

I looked at him confusingly and tried not to get angrier, "What the hell are you talking about?"

Damien brushes my hair back with his fingers and says, "You're jealous."

Of course I am! He's fucking gorgeous!

"What do you think of me? A teenager? I'm a grown ass man, why would I be jealous over something petty like this?" I asked him instead.

God I want to hit myself.

Damien takes a deep breath and nods his head, "Alright, I get it, no need to ruin my fantasies."

"You still haven't answered me Nicholas," I tell him with my right eyebrow raised.

Damien gestures his hand at the office door and says, "he's here to help me with the business since Jonathan and the other's aren't here to help me out anymore."

"Oh, so he's like your business partner?" I asked again.

Damien shakes his head and says, "More like my personal secretary."

"What?"
